La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Parmer Tech Ridge

The hotel had a clean lobby and the shower was not clean it had black dirty marks on the floor. The swimming pool had brown water and dirty.

The stay was great, clean room, cute view out the window of all the trees nearby, had a microwave and a fridge, and was close to lots of restaurants and fun places. Only downsides was that the freeway near the restaurants and activities was under construction so it was hard to get there without a detour, it was pretty hot in the hallways and elevators, and the pool was closed, we didn’t intend on swimming but if we did we would’ve been a little disappointed. Anyways, overall a great stay, the customer service was pretty good, and everything was nice!

Even though the elevator was not working, the staff was so helpful. They took us up down on the elevator manually. There was also an error with my billing & it was handled promptly & resolved immediately. The staff including the manager were so friendly & helpful. I will definitely stay at this property when I'm in Austin

We have been to this hotel before and the bed wasn't as uncomfortable as it was this time and the pool has been out of service for over a month.

Only on this property condition was the swimming pool. Was under renovation, but not can see any warning about. And I’m liked to taked one refreshing on the swimming pool:(

Review as of March 31, 2024 This was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel is very new and the pool is still being finished just for those who want to swim. They said it would be done in around 2 weeks for pool to be done. Staff - very nice and friendly Hotel - new and clean Breakfast - did not try but I think they have Toast, Jellys, Juices, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage. I did not see any cut fruit so not sure. ONLY IMPROVEMENT NEEDED Only issue I have with this hotel is that the Refrigerator is located near the bathroom along with the coffee bar. I think when they made the hotel, they wanted to save on plumbing costs so they decided to locate the refrigerator and mini kitchen right OUTSIDE of the bathroom...almost 3 feet away from the POT..and that to me IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. It's just gross and unhygienic and I think the person who came up with this idea does not have good person hygiene. For that reason, I have to deduct at least two points. I mean WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO STORE YOUR FOOD OR MAKE COFFEE NEXT TO YOUR TOILET POT....ITS GROSS!!! Well its the same design for all these rooms so nothing can be done but whoever designed it is gross. I did not use the mini kitchen or the refrigerator. Also the bath towels are placed in the tray under the vanity which I think is also gross because people use the toilet and not the towels and what if those towels are not replaced with good clean towels. So not sure what you are wiping on your face. I did not use the towels.

Housekeeping very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and welcoming. Hallway on 4th floor was very hot! Told the front desk and he said he would "see", not sure what that meant. It stayed hot in the hallway during our whole stay. The room temperature was fine. The pool was closed. Dirty green water.

My room was clean and well appointed, and the staff friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient, the parking lot was easily accessible, and the area was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Elevator did not work. Wi-Fi in room did not work. Room was decent and breakfast ok. Checkin took long

This was a nice property to stay at for a few days. It’s close to a movie theater, grocery store, several food places, gas stations and much more. It’s also close to the highway, which is a plus. It was recently built and it’s modern and clean. The only downside about this hotel is that the pool was closed during my stay and the breakfast was the same everyday. It would’ve been nice to go for a swim in the June Texas heat.

I really like this hotel and hate that this has to be said, but the smell of urine saturated the floor we stayed on. Staff was great and I do believe that had the issue been presented to the front desk that the hotel would have given us other options for the night. I was a late night check-in and I was only going to catch a few hours of sleep before I would be on my way so I sprayed the room heavily with air fresherner which I later regretted doing... It then smelled like flowers and piss. Staff has always been top notch in customer service relations, the property was kept safe by on-site security who was vigilant yet very non intrusive. The room was spacious clean, the hotel was very calm and quite, but again the smell of urine saturated even my clothes! I had to run down to the wash immediately after my stay because they too took on the the smell of the room. Great hotel but this time was an exception to what is typically considered in my opinion a solid safe booking normally a 4.5/5 stars, but they get a 3 star review from me on this stay.

The hotel is new so it is exactly as photos, good service and energy from the staff, well prepared and cleaned

Upon walking in to the hotel you immediately notice that the rugs at the front desk are stained, and furniture in the lobby is worn. Room was standard, modern amenities, bed was clean, however tables were dusty, bathroom walls were dirty, and dirty washcloth left hanging on the shower curtain. We had family of 3 noted on the reservation, but they didn’t provide enough towels. When I called the desk for another towel, I noticed the phone looked like it had not been cleaned. AC was very loud in the room, and was not working in the hallway, leading to a musty smell. Person at check-in had her AirPods in and was not very helpful to a gentleman trying to figure out his rate. I have stayed at several hotels in the area and never had issues like this.

The room we were given smelled like a wet cat and felt damp. We found a ball of what looked like lint and hair when we entered. The paint on the walls was peeling. Luckily we were able to also for another room without an issue

The room was half cleaned as they left a dirty towel on the floor and hair was in the shower. I noticed peanuts on the floor the day I checked in and they were still there when I checked out. It was brought to the front desk attention but nothing was ever done about my concerns. My trash basket was not emptied in the sitting area but was emptied in the bathroom.

The water pressure in the shower was barely a trickle.

Would be nice if the rooms had smart tvs.

I was there for 1 night and it was my first time there at la Quinta. The ac did not work at all. I even tried stopping at the front desk and there was no one to help me. When talked to the manager I told her the situation and just offered to give me a $10 discount for the issues. Worst night I’ve had. Not recommended for anyone

I chose bc it's a new property but I would not stay here again. There is a Towneplace suites next door that I have previously stayed & I will stay there instead. Room 423 - AC sounded like an old engine; shook, was loud, and didn't cool very well. Reported it on check out. 4th Floor - AC out on floor. Reported it daily & was told it was working. Can't imagine what 100 degree days feel like on the 4th floor if it was working. Checkin - Platinum Rewards member didn't care bc I booked thru Expedia. Okey dokey. Checkin - waited more than 5 minutes for a guy to come out of the office. Lobby was empty, no sign at the desk, and the guy comes out with a sweatshirt, no name tag, looked like he just woke up. He didn't make eye contact, just asked 'can I help you'. Breakfast - the coffee was good. I think I've finally learned that a LaQuinta, no matter how new, in a city is not worth staying at. BUT, on road trips, in the middle of nowhere-ish-USA, they are great.

The room was ok and nothing to brag about, the bed wasn’t that comfortable and the AC unit was so loud that I had to turn it off so l can sleep and when it got hot l had to wake up and turn it back on. Do l didn’t sleep well cause I had to keep waking up to turn on and off the AC unit from being to loud. Breakfast: The eggs almost made me throw up cause they aren’t made from real eggs. The only thing that tasted good was coffee. If the hotel stays the same it will turn into a motel.

Great room and accommodations. The AC could be better as the room was hot all night and we could not adjust the temperature to bring it colder

There was limited lighting in the hotel room which made it hard to see when doing task such as ironing clothes. The beds were not comfortable.

Shower and bath was new and modern. Television service was hard to operate with not many good channels.

Bedding was cozy and comfortable, quiet large room.

The beds felt like they were a big pillow. No support for the back. Also, the walls or possibly the ceiling is not insulated. We were on the second floor. I heard stomping around, slamming doors, etc. until 4 am. Then finally quiet. This hotel is in a trendy place, and everything is nice and clean, but I’m too light of a sleeper to stay here again.

We were given a room where the door could not lock at first. The second time I was given a room with someone inside. The third time, the key did not open the room. The fourth and last time, was the charm.

I recently stayed at La Quinta, and overall, the property itself was wonderful. Everything was spotless and looked to be brand new—from the lobby to the rooms, it was clear that cleanliness and upkeep were a top priority. I also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was fresh, well-stocked, and had a nice variety of options. However, I have to be honest about the customer service experience. While the hotel itself exceeded my expectations, the front desk personnel fell short. I’m not sure if it was just an off weekend, but the staff came across as extremely rude and unapproachable during my stay. It definitely put a damper on what would’ve otherwise been a perfect visit. If the customer service had matched the quality of the property, this would’ve easily been a five-star experience.

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. We just loved that the hotel had coffee and tea anytime that we needed it. Great stay, and the breakfast was fantastic everyday!!

It’s a great hotel but honestly it’s the worst staff and management I ever seen at a La Quinta hotel. The staff can really do nothing there they refer you to management which is only there during the week and not on the weekends at all which doesn’t help when there is a issue which I had there recently

The hotel and room were clean. The beds were comfortable and made for a good night's rest. The checkin staff did the bare minimum. When we asked about places close by to order dinner from , we were told that she couldn't really tell us about anything because she was vegan. Most places will offer you a list of recommendations. I could tell we had interrupted her phone surfing time by checking into our room. We ordered when we got to our room and had it delivered. We called to make her aware that we were waiting for delivery. When we received the text that it had arrived, I immediately went downstairs and got there just in time to keep the delivery person from exiting the hotel because she was sending them away. With the exception of lack of attention from front desk, our one night stay was good.

Dude at the desk was terrible. Very unhelpful and better suited to work that doesn’t involve interacting with people. Other than that, ok

We were there for only one night as we were in between cities that we were visiting. We checked in at around 8 at night. The toilet got plugged up so we called for a plunger. The girl at the desk first told us that there was one in the room's bathroom. After searching, I called back down to the front desk and was told that she would check for one. I called back down a third time and was told that the front desk did not have one but that it could be fixed in the morning. I asked about switching rooms but was told that was not possible either. It was now after 10 P.M. and I was too tired to argue. Luckily we needed to book two rooms so we used the other room's bathroom. At 8 A.M. I called the front desk once again and was told that the housekeeping could bring a plunger at 9 when they came in but that the front desk person could not leave her position. The maid knocked at the door at 9, handed me the plunger and the problem was solved 2 minutes later. I feel that the girl at the front desk was not knowledgeable at all and needed more training both in protocol and in how to deal with the guests. A week later we returned to the area and booked into this same hotel to see if maybe this whole fiasco was a one time episode. Glad we gave them the benefit of the doubt because we had no problems that night and the hotel otherwise was excellent.

I loved the modern look of this apartment. Was near the domain for the weekend and the area was beautiful.

Very new, modern, and clean hotel at its level. But its breakfast was really lacking. Shower water flow was also quite small. Bed and pillows were also kind of normal. Location is relatively good, close to highway and with many places to shop and eat not too far away.

My stay was excellent. The hotel is only about a year old. I liked the set-up with the separate area for the microwave and fridge, and the room was spacious. Conveniently located to a park and ride with a bus to Downtown Austin.

Staff was friendly but I felt this place was not for families and couples. Area around hotel was not very clean and nice.

Quite location

Convenient location north of Austin with several restaurants and retail nearby. Breakfast was mediocre but pretty standard for this category of hotel. Staff friendly and attentive with good communication prior to arrival. Rooms are clean and in good condition. Linens are acceptable. Free parking and free WiFi. This was our second time to stay at this property and we will likely return.

Other than being given a dirty room at first, our stay was good. Breakfast was great!!

Breakfast was not ready at 6:00 am on Jan 8th as promised. I had to drive to the airport for an early flight and it was disappointing to not have the breakfast I was expecting.

I’ve stayed at this hotel now 2 times. And it’s very nice friendly helpful staff. I appreciated that they ensured I was not on same floor as a group of high schoolers. However, they could spruce up their breakfast. For large crowds 2 waffle makers make for very congested breakfast area. Plus the bacon was not made very well and it was microwave bacon so would not taken much more effort. But plan on staying here again, this time will check to see if there is any big groups like schools staying.

From check in to check out the place was great. Breakfast was great aside from no sugar free syrup for the tasty waffles 😊 reason 9.5 out of 10 for sure.

Modern, beautiful brand-new hotel, with exceptional, obviously professionally trained front desk staff. Lobby seating for breakfast is outstanding! Multiple sofas with individual trays, in addition to booths, and plentiful tables with comfortable chairs. Great hot breakfast. Also, everything in hotel is new and therefore pristine.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. First the electrical in the room was severally messed up. We had to leave bathroom light on in order to have the lights in the room work; with exception of 1 standing floor lamp. Secondly, when we went down to breakfast well before the ending of breakfast they had nothing left. I realize that on busy weekends it takes a lot to keep up with the needed but from what I could see they only had 1 person doing everything; so impossible for him to keep up by himself. They did have waffle makers so we waited in line for that but once timer went off; the waffle was the boy partially cooked. Was still doughy in center.
