Hotel Miramar was just wonderful. Everyone we met from the staff treated us fantastic. The parking is great since it’s very complicated in Positano. The room we had had the most fantastic view over one of the world’s most beautiful places. The breakfast was the best we have had in Italy. Close to the city but also some great restaurants just around the corner that was better than the ones in the city centre. We are coming back for sure.

Lovely stay …a picture perfect sea front water view; fabulous breakfast with eggs, bacon/sausage, pastries, salad, cheeses, fruit, fresh bread, hard boiled eggs, salmon, etc. all on their sea front restaurant; the staff is simply amazing; area is fabulous - like a postcard but it is Positano so bring comfy shoes and good lungs for all the steps. There Is no lift so pack light but there is a sweet porter that will carry luggage to/from room. Good WiFi; near oodles of restaurants- steps required :) housecleaning every day.

This hotel is great, we had a great time, the view from the rooms is unique, the location is very convenient, is close to the beach and restaurants, but high enough to have an excellent view. We enjoyed the pool at their partner hotel, you can access with no problem. The breakfast is very good too. thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing hotel and staff. Delicious restaurant and their breakfast great too.They are super helpful they arranged our taxi services to Naples. Thank God this place has a porter to help with the luggage. Those who have stayed in Positano known how hard it is to walk down and up stairs with luggage. We stayed in the ocean view with a balcony room and it was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again.

Parked the car with their valet service. Together with their valet guy we took photos of the car. It was actually his idea. When I checked out to grab the car, I noticed a large scratch. It was deep. Some sort of a concrete wall scratch. I showed him, and he truly didn’t care. He said don’t worry, they have cameras. So I showed him before and after photos. I then called the hotel supervisor. He didn’t care either. Overall nobody cares. I’ve filed an insurance claim with the hotel. We shall see what’s next…

Fantastic stay at Miramare with a view that cannot be beat!! Super walkable and close to town, it was definitely worth it to stay there. Also great views at breakfast looking at town. We loved the balcony as well which was almost as large as the room! Tiny ants in our room (ahh!) but I think because it is a historic hotel they may just be around.

I stayed at Miramar in Positano for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the famous beach. My room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning sea view. The staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries and local products. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a scenic stay on the coast. I would definitely stay here again.

I was pretty disappointed with our stay. I booked the junior suite for 6 nights for my mom and I for her last trip. My mother has been battling stage 4 colorectal cancer and I wanted her to be able to enjoy the view with a book if she was too weak. However, we had hundreds of ants on the terrace, in the bathroom including while trying to take baths or a shower, in the living room, and even had some crawl on my face while in bed. I notified the staff several times which didn’t do much. After the third time, I notified the manager (middle-aged woman with glasses and dark-blonde hair). Instead of apologizing for the issue, she told me that it was us because we are eating in the room. I told her we are not eating in the bathroom which there were hundreds of ants and even more on the terrace and in the living room area which we can not even enjoy the terrace that I paid over $3000 for to enjoy the view. Her statement of that we should not eat in the room is actually illegal and disrespectful for a hotel staff to say that to someone who is paying a ton of money for the view and comfort of the stay. Still nothing happened besides the cleaning people cleaned up the ants. Yet, hundreds more came. We had to close the doors to the terrace early in the afternoon and not go out there as the ants were climbing all over us while we tried to stay out on the terrace. Not to mention hundreds in the bathroom. We couldn’t take baths because of it and we had to spray them down while taking a sho

This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. The staff were amazing and helped me with my departure (organising the porter, helping with ferry ticket info). The breakfast was great with a sensational view. Complimentary water and soft drinks in the fridge each day was a nice touch. House keeping also comes twice a day - very attentive. Yes there are stairs to climb to get to the hotel, but this is the same for everywhere in Positano. It’s worth it for the views at Miramare! Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! Our views were amazing. The staff here are amazing! Our room was always clean when we got back from our day and breakfast in the morning was delicious with a wonderful view. Positano is known for walking and their many steps which it lived up to that, but it was worth it. We miss it so much! You need to book at Hotel Miramare!!

뷰도 예쁘고 주차장 포터 서비스도 너무 감사했고(포지타노 계단이 많은데 주차장까지 짐 다 옮겨주심) 모든게 좋았는데, 조식 때 음식 주변에 파리가 너무 많았어요.. 음식에 뚜껑이 있으면 좋을 것 같아요. 그외 시설, 친절도, 해변과의 위치 등 모든 것이 좋았습니다 ^^

dont book the annex !!! its so far from the hotel and has no service. It is on a noisy street and the door is not secure - it bangs thru the night if there is any wind. All the property needs to do is to be very clear this is not an annex and is not part of the hotel . disappointed

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff is incredible and helped with everything from booking ferry tickets to dinner reservations. The room was spacious and the patio had a wonderful view. We loved the restaurant and the breakfast. Everything was perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!

Stunning hotel in beautiful Positano. Very good breakfast. Staff could not be more accommodating and lovely. Only negative is the guests next door to my room were incredibly loud and their bathroom window opened onto my balcony so heard things I wish I hadn’t.

We will definitely be coming back! Stayed at Miramare for 2 nights in June and enjoyed every bit of it. We were able to check in early and leave our bags after check out while we had a boat excursion all day. The concierge was extremely helpful and coordinated our transportation back to the train station in Naples. They even let us rinse off before departing. Breakfast was included and excellent. Bed was comfortable and the views were stunning!

I was pretty disappointed with our stay. I booked the junior suite for 6 nights for my mom and I for her last trip. My mother has been battling stage 4 colorectal cancer and I wanted her to be able to enjoy the view with a book if she was too weak. However, we had hundreds of ants on the terrace, in the bathroom including while trying to take baths or a shower, in the living room, and even had some crawl on my face while in bed. I notified the staff several times which didn’t do much. After the third time, I notified the manager (middle-aged woman with glasses and dark-blonde hair). Instead of apologizing for the issue, she told me that it was us because we are eating in the room. I told her we are not eating in the bathroom which there were hundreds of ants and even more on the terrace and in the living room area which we can not even enjoy the terrace that I paid over $3000 for to enjoy the view. Her statement of that we should not eat in the room is actually illegal and disrespectful for a hotel staff to say that to someone who is paying a ton of money for the view and comfort of the stay. Still nothing happened besides the cleaning people cleaned up the ants. Yet, hundreds more came. We had to close the doors to the terrace early in the afternoon and not go out there as the ants were climbing all over us while we tried to stay out on the terrace. Not to mention hundreds in the bathroom. We couldn’t take baths because of it and we had to spray them down while taking a sho

Amazing hotel and staff. Delicious restaurant and their breakfast great too.They are super helpful they arranged our taxi services to Naples. Thank God this place has a porter to help with the luggage. Those who have stayed in Positano known how hard it is to walk down and up stairs with luggage. We stayed in the ocean view with a balcony room and it was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again.

In addition to being a beautiful person, Emanuella was fantastic in helping us as needed. Breathtaking views. Dinner was excellent (esp the steak) despite being a little pricey. Steps are tough upon arriving. Rec calling ahead to ask for assistance if hv learge luggage. When leaving, nice man will carry ur bags up the stairs so tip accordingly. Highly recommend.

Parked the car with their valet service. Together with their valet guy we took photos of the car. It was actually his idea. When I checked out to grab the car, I noticed a large scratch. It was deep. Some sort of a concrete wall scratch. I showed him, and he truly didn’t care. He said don’t worry, they have cameras. So I showed him before and after photos. I then called the hotel supervisor. He didn’t care either. Overall nobody cares. I’ve filed an insurance claim with the hotel. We shall see what’s next…

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Miramare in Positano. The location was perfect — close enough to everything without being too high up the hill. While there were a few steps to reach the hotel (as expected in Positano), it was far more manageable compared to many other places in the area. The view from our room was absolutely stunning — waking up to that iconic Positano coastline every morning was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and made us feel right at home. They made it one to remember for us on such a special occasion! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Positano!

This hotel has terrible access. Over 70 stairs to get there . No elevator , they help you with your bags but its very hot outside and people had a hard time climbing up and down the stairs to get to the main rd where all the restaurant are or to go the beach There is no access by car . It kinda ruined our vacation

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We love the proximity to the beach and the water. We had a great view from our balcony. The staff were fantastic, helpful, kind, and friendly. Can’t even begin to say enough about the breakfast in the morning. The food was the best we had our entire stay, freshly and intimately prepared.

Lovely stay …a picture perfect sea front water view; fabulous breakfast with eggs, bacon/sausage, pastries, salad, cheeses, fruit, fresh bread, hard boiled eggs, salmon, etc. all on their sea front restaurant; the staff is simply amazing; area is fabulous - like a postcard but it is Positano so bring comfy shoes and good lungs for all the steps. There Is no lift so pack light but there is a sweet porter that will carry luggage to/from room. Good WiFi; near oodles of restaurants- steps required :) housecleaning every day.

Vi hade en otrolig vistelse på Hotel Miramare. Trevlig och kompetent personal som kunde svara på alla frågor man skulle kunna tänkas ha. De gav även bra tips och råd på lokala restauranger, områden och vägar man skulle ta sig till med mera. Hotellet var väldigt fräscht och fint och utsikten var fantastisk. Hotellets restaurang La Scalinatella måste vara en av de bästa i Positano. Otroligt god mat och trevlig personal. Allt som allt är vi helnöjda med vårt besök här.

We stayed here for our 20 year Anniversary. The view from our balcony was straight out of a dream, so beautiful. We loved our stay, the breakfast buffet was a good selection. There was something for everyone, from pastries to fruit to egg and bacon. The location was convenient for everything we had planned. Highly recommend!

This was a great hotel and we really enjoyed it. Not too high up on the cliffs, but high enough to have a fantastic view. The room was delightful with a great bathroom and an incredible balcony. There was an issue with the Bidet and with the Air-conditioner and the staff had everything fixed right away. The breakfast was top-notch and the on-site restaurant was very good. All of the staff were wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Our two-night stay at Miramare was absolutely wonderful. Located in Positano, the hotel offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast.
