The Green House by Santiago de Alfama

Best romantic getaway ever. The staff was so phenomenal and sweet couldn't be any better.

We stayed at The Greenhouse in September 2023 (sorry for late review) and oh my goodness what a treat! We arrived to a very sleepy village and spent a while driving in circles but when we eventually entered in to the beautiful oasis we didnt want to leave. It is absolutely beautiful! We were shown to our room (apartment really) which was just gorgeous. The decor is outstanding, every tiny detail is taken care of and it is clear such great care has been taken in the refurbishment of this gorgeous building by the lovely owners who we were lucky to meet. The pool and garden area are just beautiful and the lovely staff are so attentive, you genuinely feel like you're staying at a friends house. It's super quiet in the immediate area so you will need a hire car if you want to get out and about but it is a great place to relax and unwind. I could use many more adjectives to tell you how wonderful it all is but ultimately we would absolutely recommended it to anybody and cannot wait to go back!
