Stayed 3 nights

This was our second time to this property. We really liked it the first time. The second time, not so much. We tried to leave a day early and the staff refused to refund us for the night if we left early. The reason for wanting to depart, was that next to the resort, was an animal shelter/kennel. Animals were kept outside. All through the night the dogs kept barking, making sleeping very difficult. On top of the dogs, in the morning the local roosters started up. Needless to say, sleeping here was an issue. The other item that seemed off was the morning buffet service. Food was great, service was non-existent. You had to go to the wait staff and ask them to make you a latte. The staff never came around your table asking if everything was ok, or if you needed something. The funny thing was at check out, they asked if we wanted to leave a tip for the staff. We did leave a tip in the room for housekeeping, but for the rest of the property, no way. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are small, and the location is good, but between the dogs and the staff, we will not stay at this location again.

This is a gorgeous upscale property in a beautiful natural setting of olive groves. The mountains are a beautiful backdrop. Staff went over and above to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast is a huge array of Greek specialties and anything else one could want.
