7/10: Clean, Convenient, but Be Aware of the Stairs and Limited Hours I recently stayed at this hotel during my visit to Granada and overall had a positive experience. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. It’s in an ideal location—very convenient for taxi pick-up and drop-off, and less than a 10-minute walk to the central part of town. It’s in a quiet area too, so I was able to get a good night’s rest. However, a few things to keep in mind: the hotel is located near stairs and inclines, so if you have mobility issues or cannot walk up hills, this may not be the best choice for you. Also, there is no elevator on the property, which could be an issue for some guests. Another thing to note is that the facility closes at 5 PM daily, so there’s no 24-hour reception or access to the property after hours unless you’ve made arrangements ahead of time —each guest has a unique access code to get in and out. Despite these limitations, the hotel was perfect for what I needed during my trip to Granada. If you’re mobile and don’t mind the early closing time, this is a great, clean, and quiet spot in a great location.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, able to help us with anything we needed. The alhambra was within walking distance which was nice, rooftop was a nice chill area but unfortunately closed at 8pm due to neighbor complaints. The room was nice as well! Seeing the incline at the end of a long day of walking was a bit painful.

Booked because it was advertised as having a parking. There is no parking at all. Good luck finding one in in public parking's around (not many in that area) or in the street. Don’t book if you are traveling with a car. We wasted an hour trying to find one

Friendly small 9 room hotel. We got the last small room on the top floor. No elevator. Location is excellent! Rooftop was nice. It’s too bad that they close the access at 8 pm… even before the sunset. Small living area also with no access after 8 pm. All the decorations are with recycled materials, a plus for Mother Earth! All together a good choice.

Our stay at Rooms VITA & BAR was very satisfying! We would definitely stay there again, with the knowledge of what to expect. There is a beautiful terrace space on the rooftop but it is extremely casual. There is no restaurant service, as in, no one brings your food to you. You bring up your own breakfast in a sturdy tray. You can access the terrace between 8AM and 5PM. The location was perfect! We wanted to see the Alhambra and the walk took about 15 minutes, and a beautiful, yet all up hill, walk. The room was small; that is no surprise in Europe. It had everything we needed. The shower was tricky because water spilled out to the rest of the floor. Overall, we were very satisfied. The young woman who helped us out was very, very nice. She spoke English, booked our taxi to the airport and was there to answer any questions. Overall, we were very satisfied. Granada is a beautiful city and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful location, clean and beautiful room and very helpful and friendly staff. Wish there were screens in the windows and that the rooftop was open later than 5:30pm. Maybe it is in high season. We loved our visit. Gracias.

This hotel is in an ideal location, especially if you’re planning to visit the Alhambra. The rooms are spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is simply fantastic and positive. I can’t quite put it into words, but you’ll know what I mean once you’ve stayed here. It’s definitely worth a visit!

The hotel had a beautiful rooftop patio with amazing views of the city. It was a very close to all the major attractions to be able to walk, especially the Alhambra. There were many restaurants and cafés nearby. The staff were very helpful. It was nice to have a mini fridge in the room. The only area for improvement would be that all the counter surfaces were not wiped down but otherwise was very clean and we would definitely stay again. Also, it is important to know that the taxi could not drive right up to the door so there were quite a few stairs to climb to get to the hotel as it is on a hill. We booked a room on first floor thinking we wouldn’t have to bring our suitcases up the stairs but there are still stairs. It looked like there was a wheelchair access elevator at the back of the hotel, but I’m not sure how you access that. After hours there is no one at the front desk, and all the lights in the hallways are turned off, so it would make it difficult to check in after hours and find your way up the stairs in the dark.

Really nice staff! Good breakfast. Hippie/flea market decor might not appeal to everyone (lots of plywood). Weird smells in bathroom, but the customer service made that less of an issue.

Ein toller Empfang, sehr freundliches Personal, immer ansprechbar und sehr aufmerksam. Es war alles sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, dieses hatte zwar 2 Fenster, leider durch eine Überdachung keine frische Luft. Zum Glück gab es eine Klimaanlage. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Fußweg zur Alhambra nur 10min. Google Maps ist mit der Zeitangabe irreführend. Saubere Zimmer. Allerdings war es leicht feucht im Zimmer. Leider war der Geruch im Zimmer etwas modrig. Aber war für uns nicht sehr dramatisch. Die Bar ist auch gleichzeitig die Rezeption. Weil wir spät angekommen waren, mussten wir selbst einchecken. Jairo hat uns alles ausführlich erklärt. Er hat uns erst über Expedia, dann über Whatsapp kontaktiert. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter. Weil der Abfluss im Bad verstopft war, hat er für ein Getränk aus der Minibar kein Geld genommen. Gerne wieder.

Excellent staff who are very helpful. The room was not big but it’s sufficient for one big and one small luggage to be fully open. It’s perfect for a short stay and it’s very comfy. Love that there’s lots of natural light in the room. There is a nice roof for us to enjoy a lovely afternoon.

Overall, the hotel was cute and the room was clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. WiFi was okay. Great location, it’s 15min hike up to Alhambra (don’t trust the 35min route Google gives you). It’s walkable distance to other attractions as well. Few minor things to improve, room was a bit dark (light not bright enough). The electric outlets were under the bed, a bit inconvenient, would be great if they were installed a bit higher. Lastly, no tissue/napkins.

It was a great stay overall, staff was very kind and willing to help you with anything. Alhambra was very close to walk uphills and nice viewpoints for sunset. The only concern I had was there's no window to outside and hard to circulate fresh air. I will come back next time to the room with better ventilation.

Schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal. Nachteil war, dass unser Zimmer kein Fenster gegen aussen hatte, sondern nur in den geschlossenen Innenhof. Dadurch war das Zimmer etwas stickig, zum Gluck hatte es eine Klimaanlage.

Friendly staff, the continental breakfast was excellent value at 10eur with fresh coffee. Nice small roof terrace (unfortunately closed at 8pm). The room itself was quite small and narrow but absolutely fine for a short stay. Even though we faced the street, it was very quiet and the blackout blinds meant we slept very well. Excellent location for visiting the Alhambra and for walking into the city centre.

Amamos a localização do hotel! Perto do centro é perto no ponto de ônibus pra subir em Alhambra! Perto de mercados e restaurantes. Contudo a cama do quarto é muito mole e afundamos, ficando bem desconfortável. O barulho da tubulação também parece que vai explodir dentro do quarto, ao ponto de nos acordar de madrugada caso algum hóspede usasse o banheiro em seu quarto. O box do banheiro também é pequeno e o chuveiro tem quase vida própria haha Foram os únicos pontos negativos!

Contudo a cama do quarto é muito mole e afundamos, ficando bem desconfortável. O barulho da tubulação também parece que vai explodir dentro do quarto, ao ponto de nos acordar de madrugada caso algum hóspede usasse o banheiro em seu quarto. O box do banheiro também é pequeno e o chuveiro tem quase vida própria haha Foram os únicos pontos negativos!

Amazing stay!! The hotel and room are nicely decorated. The gentlemen on reception is a great asset - very friendly, attentive and gave good recommendations. Love the little touches like nice bathroom toiletries and lollies being left after the room was made up. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the city, make sure to go up. Hotel is well located, only a 10-15 uphill walk to the Alhambra (Google Maps is incorrect as it will tell you longer) and 10 minute walk in to the centre of town. The hotel is located up a few steps, cars can't drive up to the front of reception so keep this in mind if you have large luggage etc. Overall loved my stay, would definitely return!

Het was fantastisch om al vroeg te mogen inchecken na onze vroege aankomst per trein. Jairo was niet alleen bij onze aankomst ontzettend aardig en uitermate behulpzaam maar heeft het ons gedurende ons korte verblijf op alle fronten naar de zin gemaakt. Complimenten voor zoveel hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay at Vita very much. Iario was an excellent employee who was very pleasant & provided all the information we required re: places to see, places to dine, even recommended a great barber where my husband got the best haircut ever. Granada is a wonderful city & the location of Vita was perfect for us.

The place was very cute, clean and centrally located, but... We arrived at 5:20 pm which was 20 minutes after the reception closes. It is called Vita & Bar which made me assume there would be a bar open into the evening, but that is not the case. Check-in is only from 3-5pm and then everything is closed. We received a code to gain entrance to the building and our unit. There is absolutely no parking nearby which was problematic for dropping off our luggage. The email we received for self check-in indicated we could receive a deal on parking, but didn't tell us where that parking was located. Needless to say, we chose a parkade that wasn't the correct one. Access to the building and unit has a large number of stairs to climb. We are fit enough that it wasn't too much trouble, but I could see others having a lot of difficulty! There is no mention of this anywhere. The unit itself is very cute, but very small. There literally was no place other than on the bed to access our open suitcase. Again, the unit had a great location and was very cute, but does not deserve a 9.4 rating, in my opinion.

El hotel está muy bueno para gente joven pues los taxis no suben hasta la puerta del hotel pues está ubicado en loma con escaleras. La localización es perfecta para subir andando hasta la entrada de La Alhambra y fácil de llegar a las diferentes paradas de bus. La atención del personal estuvo muy buena. El desayuno muy completo, incluye jugo de naranja natural, jamones quesos y buen surtido de panes y frutas además de un café muy bien servido!! Aunque nuestra habitación era muy pequeñita la cama estuvo muy cómoda y dormimos muy bien.

It's in very convenient distance to walk to the Alhambra, but slightly away (like 10-15min walk from the city center). The room was not super huge, but since I was alone it wasn't an inconvenience. The bathroom was spacious, so it was a shame the shower was rather small and with the placement of shower battery it left little room to manoeuvre within the. The breakfast was rather lacklustre with mostly store bought packaged pastries and not much variety. But staff was very nice.

We had a wonderful stay here! Our room had a rustic vibe was but was very clean and staff here go above and beyond to meet your needs. The place is also beautifully decorated with plants and rooftop has an amazing view of the city. We were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast as they make you fresh cup of coffee/latte and omelatte/bacon and have a good variety of healthy choices. Overall, unique stay that matches the vibe of the city and would highly recommend!

Our stay at Rooms VITA & BAR was very satisfying! We would definitely stay there again, with the knowledge of what to expect. There is a beautiful terrace space on the rooftop but it is extremely casual. There is no restaurant service, as in, no one brings your food to you. You bring up your own breakfast in a sturdy tray. You can access the terrace between 8AM and 5PM. The location was perfect! We wanted to see the Alhambra and the walk took about 15 minutes, and a beautiful, yet all up hill, walk. The room was small; that is no surprise in Europe. It had everything we needed. The shower was tricky because water spilled out to the rest of the floor. Overall, we were very satisfied. The young woman who helped us out was very, very nice. She spoke English, booked our taxi to the airport and was there to answer any questions. Overall, we were very satisfied. Granada is a beautiful city and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Really enjoyed our stay at Rooms Vita. The hotel was located very centrally, with great bars and restaurants in walking distance, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, though it would have been great if the roof terrace had been open longer in the evening, as a 5pm closure meant we couldn’t enjoy a beer in the evening sun!

Very useful location close to Alhambra as well as some fantastic bars/restaurants only a few minutes from the hotel. The hotel itself is quite basic. The room was much smaller than anticipated, and the shower was unfortunately quite mouldy and in need of cleaning.
