The Great Madras by Hotel Calmo

i’ve heard many good things about this hotel in the past but now that I’ve gotten my chance, it’s just pure disappointment. Here are the issues: The check-in receptionist couldn’t be bothered with our enquiries, the plugs & room lights constantly switched on and off by itself, the wifi router in our room also fell out of the ceiling on the first night, causing us terrible wifi connection on our devices & no connection on the tv. We couldn’t watch tv throughout our stay, the management came in and checked on our situation and told us they would put us to a different room if the wifi router can’t be fixed, in the end nothing happened, they didn’t get back to us about anything. Lastly, this is the first time that I’ve stayed in a Singapore hotel that has cockroaches, 3 to be exact. Book this hotel only if you don’t mind any of that.
