Great location, friendly staff, renovated in last couple of years. Quiet, warm, comfortable room and beds, and good breakfast. Don't expect the most modern facilities (eg shower mixer) but everything worked as it should and we would recommend and return here.

Had a three night midweek stay. Hotel was very easy to find, right on main road with good signage. Car park at side. Staff were helpful and attentive. Room clean, bed comfotable, shower good. Breakfasts were filling and well cooked to order.

The staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly. However the hotel entrance is very underwelming and dated. Room corridors feel like an office block. Such a shame as location is excellent. Many downstairs rooms look in need of restoration. Not at its best. Pity as restaurant is very pleasant.

We had a great stay at this hotel, which is close to the town centre and the hills. The rooms are lovely and clean with a large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and we also had dinner in the hotel’s Mulberry Restaurant, which again was very good. I would also like to thank all the staff at the hotel who were also very helpful giving good service throughout.

Absolutely stunning cozy hotel at the heart of Malvern. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. The room was comfortable, well equipped, clean and quiet. Both toilets by the Reception and in the Restaurant were clean and smelling nice - you can tell if the property is well look after by those things. 10/10 for the food in the Mulberry Tree Restaurant! Great delicious and beautifully looking food. I had dinner in the evening and a lunch the next day - both exceeded my expectation. Lamb koftas were superb and full of flavour and parsnip and carrot soup was as silky and creamy as you can imagine. All of that topped up with great staff who went out of their way to make sure you are happy with the service. Best place to stay-definitely!

Beautiful location and a stunning view from our window. A clean and spacious room, friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was: It was a stiflingly hot day and the (sash) windows were limited to open only two inches! There was a tower fan provided but even putting this by the window did very little to cool the room.

Lovely big bedroom with a huge ensuite. Very comfy bed. Very clean. Good breakfast, cooked to order so a little slow in appearing. Hotel very well positioned for exploring the town and the hills. Thank you.

Really disappointed with this stay. Would not recommend. It was the last day of a road trip & we really were looking forward to getting here & relaxing. Unfortunately we weren’t informed that there would be a dj in the room underneath ours until 11:30pm! We wouldn’t have chosen to stay above a club or a pub for that reason. It was so loud… we should’ve been in a room further away, not directly above it. Very unfair. The whole of Malvern also had the water shut off Sunday morning so no water for a shower or to brush teeth! The hotel in general was a disappointment. It doesn’t look as nice as the photos, it’s very basic & the rooms are not great & not very clean. Painfully over priced for what you get. I did speak to the receptionist who did offer a discounted stay if we were to return but it’s unlikely.

We stayed for one night as we were attending a friends funeral the following day. we have stayed at this hotel on many occaisions before and it has never disappointed us. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was good and locally sourced with a substantial breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day. We did not go walking this time but it is well sited to walk in the park or up to the hills and springs in the area.

We arrived at 2 and departed by 5 in the same day . The hotel has had some works done in the restaurant and garden area which looks really nice and this maybe the reflection on some of the reviews. However when it comes to the standard of the rooms, this is very poor ! The room was very smelly, small, very cheap bed with poor mattress, décor was at a very low standard with chip paper on the ceiling. Was given a small fan that stopped working and advised that all rooms where full so would have to give the reception fan to us . Need a lot of work to be anywhere near the fake reviews the hotel has been given.

Location was excellent for a family meet up in Malvern shops, bars etc so close, we didnt eat here in the evening, breakfast was ok bit of choice on buffet altho was boxed cearel. We had a room in the annex at rear which furniture was a bit dated. Bathroom was spotless. Woken in morning by radio on in kitchen which was opposite plus quilt was highest tog rating ever for July we were just too warm. Would have been perfect in winter

Generally very good. Only negative issue was road noise. The windows are old sash style and block no road noise whatsoever and resulted in very little sleep - but I'm a light sleeper. Take earplugs and you'll be fine.

The hotel waa dated and average. We were given a very small room built as an extension above the main hotel. Whilst reasonably well equipped and clean, this was on a par to a small travel lodge room. We were hoping for a more luxurious stay and for what we paid, this was dissapointing. Bar and restaurant standard was OK, but the service was v slow.

The room we were given on arrival wasnt great..dark and hadxa musty smell, like it hadnt been used or aired for a long time. I notified reception and they immediately allocated us a different room which was just perfect, with a view overlooking the Abbey. Amazing staff at this hotel. Breakfast in fantastic and with the addition of tge new lantern terrace at the back its a perfect place to stay.

Friendly receptionist checked us in, giving us a room upgrade! Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast included fresh fruit and wonderful full English breakfast. Even though we had checked out the next day, another receptionist was very helpful in finding us a taxi. Service above and beyond.

Generally very good. Only negative issue was road noise. The windows are old sash style and block no road noise whatsoever and resulted in very little sleep - but I'm a light sleeper. Take earplugs and you'll be fine.

Location was excellent for a family meet up in Malvern shops, bars etc so close, we didnt eat here in the evening, breakfast was ok bit of choice on buffet altho was boxed cearel. We had a room in the annex at rear which furniture was a bit dated. Bathroom was spotless. Woken in morning by radio on in kitchen which was opposite plus quilt was highest tog rating ever for July we were just too warm. Would have been perfect in winter

We stayed for one night as we were attending a friends funeral the following day. we have stayed at this hotel on many occaisions before and it has never disappointed us. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was good and locally sourced with a substantial breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day. We did not go walking this time but it is well sited to walk in the park or up to the hills and springs in the area.
