Nice little hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The back yard needs a little love. It's the primary reason we booked, and the common area lounge chairs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the wooden swings over the cove and bar looks less than structurally sound. That said. The plunge pool was very nice and overall, for what we paid, was a great place to stay in Puerto Aventuras. We would stay again, but hopefully the back yard is given a little more love.

Il n'y avait pas de réception, aucune indication comment récupéré la clé. La toilette dans la chambre était brisée (chasse d'eau défectueuse), les draps étaient sales, serviettes et verres pour 2 alors que nous étions 3. Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans la douche. La piscine était sale et inutilisable. Il y avait des fourmis rouge dans la chambre et elles nous piquaient dans nos lits la nuit. Les photos ne correspondent pas ce à quoi l'hôtel ressemble maintenant. Le resto chez Waffle offrait de bons petits déjeuners. Le quartier de Puerto Aventuras est absolument magnifique. MAIS CHOISISSEZ UN AUTRE HÔTEL

Pool and natural water oil could use some cleaning, especially the natural pool, too much algae to get in the steps, but can view some tropical fish. The included breakfast was good.

Chez Waffle Hotel had its charm, including a cute pond right outside our bedroom it was cute with fishes and it was connected to the lakefront. However there were two lounge chairs nearby but they were unfortunately dirty, making the outside patio less appealing as a place to relax. Despite these drawbacks, the location was convenient for our plans, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The on-site coffee shop adds a nice touch, and the chilaquiles are a must-try. We stayed for one night, and it served as a decent, affordable option for a short stay, but the outdoor cleanliness could definitely be improved.

En la zona se alberca hay camastros rotos. La piscina sucia. No hay personal que te ayude. Me cobraron al niño como persona adicional y ni siquiera dejaron una toalla extra. Solo 2 toallas para 3 personas. El aire acondicionado no enfriaba suficiente. En la descripción dice playa con arena blanca. Y no tiene playa

I loved the canal view from my room. There is a swimming pool and a "pool" was created with ocean water and tropical fish, that has water flowing in from the boat canal. It was early May, low season, when I stayed and I felt like I had the place to myself. The room was nice and had everything I needed. You might want to rent a bike or a golf cart to get around. I loved Puerto Adventuras. The ocean water was calm and clear to swim/snorkel in because of the artificial reef. Very safe and quiet. Good to get away from the chaos of Playa del Carmen. I had a rental car (note, there is no parking lot at this hotel) so it was easy to drive to restaurants and the beach. I wonder if the hotel serves food at dinner time in the high season?

Unfortunately, we experienced an electricity outage one night and had no water another night. Other than that, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was good, and the location was perfect for my needs.

El servicio a clientes es oportuno solo que no se informa, hasta que el cliente pregunta, que el aire acondicionado no está accesible para el control del huésped sino que está programado para funcionar de forma automática únicamente de 19:30 h a 10:00 por lo que si se tiene la intención de disfrutar la habitación fuera de este horario solamente se dispone del abanico que en tiempo de calor resulta insuficiente. Fuimos acompañados de unos amigos y en su habitación el aire solo refrescaba, asumimos que por falta de gas, empero no es suficiente en esta época del año.. ellos también encontraron sucio su balcón y una cucaracha en la cama… está bien ubicado, es pequeño y ofrece lo necesario sin lujos.. solo queda tomar en cuenta estos comentarios para la mejora continua

I have stayed in many places in PA. This is by far the worst. I dont say that lightly. We checked out 4 nights early. Our room was never cleaned. The grounds were never cleaned. Trash in the lagoon, snake skins by the front door, our room looked nothing like the pictures. There is NO beach 300 ft from the room that you can access unless you trespass. No where in the booking did it say the air conditioner turns off during the day until 7:15 pm. The filtered water comes out of a filthy dispenser. For the money you can stay in a way nicer place. Will not return.

I thought this would be a hidden gem, but it's not really well maintained, there was no actual hotel staff to talk to, no desk besides the waffle shop, there was mold in some areas of the room and no hot water to be found on the showers.

The staff was friendly & the service good. Overall the room was fine, but overpriced for the following reasons: The water pressure was very low most of the time--insufficient for washing hair. Lighting was soft everywhere, even in the bathroom. Lounge chairs were useless for working at the desk (I brought in a chair from the balcony).

Great place! Had trouble checking into Chez Waffle. Staff departs by 4:00 pm. I arrived late around 7:00 pm and everything was closed. I walked around back to find another guest who helped me get into my room. She told me I needed WhatsApp on my phone. Found out that the hotel texts you check in information. So all turned out great! Cute place rustic. Breakfast was wonderful!

No hay staff en la propiedad 24/7, lo cual puede hacer difícil solucionar situaciones que sucedan durante la estancia, sin embargo cuando tuvimos problemas con el wifi enviamos un WhatsApp y rápidamente nos otorgaron claves de distintas redes hasta que encontramos una que funcionaba. El hotel no es nuevo, pero está en buen estado. El desayuno es un poco pobre, y esperábamos más de los waffles.

Bonita habitación, como se ve, pero le falta mucho para ser una muy buena habitación, los colchones muy aguados, flojos, las almohadas durísimas, nos dio dolor de cuello, el aire acondicionado muy ruidoso, demasiado ruidoso, el wc y regadera no lucen bien. En general para pasar una noche esta bien, no regresaría, a menos que modificara y actualizaran, el lugar donde esta es muy bueno.

Great place! Had trouble checking into Chez Waffle. Staff departs by 4:00 pm. I arrived late around 7:00 pm and everything was closed. I walked around back to find another guest who helped me get into my room. She told me I needed WhatsApp on my phone. Found out that the hotel texts you check in information. So all turned out great! Cute place rustic. Breakfast was wonderful!

We reached out to the property both the day before our check-in and again on the day of, but unfortunately received no response. Due to unforeseen delays, we arrived in Cancun much later than planned—around 8 p.m. instead of our original 7 a.m. arrival time. We attempted to communicate our delayed arrival to request check-in instructions, especially since we learned that the office closes at 4 p.m. Despite our efforts, we received no guidance, and upon arriving at the hotel, we were unable to check in. This situation caused significant inconvenience, as we had to scramble to find alternative accommodations late at night. With more responsive communication, we believe this could have been avoided, allowing us to better prepare for our delayed arrival and avoid last-minute changes.

Upon arrival no one was there, check in instructions did not include any room number or access code. It looked to be abandoned with zero guests or staff at the property. We had no way to access our room or even a lobby.

I really enjoy stayed here one night. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. One issue when I arrived to the hotel. The front desk is closed. I wandered on the street without wifi and data on my phone. I've emailed the hotel 2 days in advance about late check-in but no response. The closest restaurant is about 25 min walking. The weather is very hot. Not a good way to welcome guest

They sent a very helpful video through WhatsApp the day we were to arrive which showed how to find our room as there are no staff past 3pm. Beautiful inner courtyard area is the best place to use wifi if needed.

Llegué aprox 10:30 pm después de un viaje largo, estaba todo apagado. No había nadie que me recibiera, no recibí un mns o llamada para indicarme que ellos solo están presenciales hasta las 3 pm, por lo que esperé 1 hora y media afuera con lluvia, intenté contactar a los teléfonos que indican, nadie contestó, se fue la luz, no tienen planta, cuando logré localizar a alguien del hotel me indico por teléfono que habitación era la mía y cómo encontrar la llave, al día siguiente no había agua caliente, la camarista entró a la habitación sin tocar antes la puerta, en el cesto de la basura del baño había papeles. Cabe mencionar que los chicos de la cafetería intentaron apoyarme con el agua caliente ya que mi hija estaba con gripa y no quería bañarla con agua fría. El hotel se observa limpio en general, lamentablemente mi experiencia no fue nada agradable. Cuento con un par de evidencias para soporte.

Nice little hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The back yard needs a little love. It's the primary reason we booked, and the common area lounge chairs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the wooden swings over the cove and bar looks less than structurally sound. That said. The plunge pool was very nice and overall, for what we paid, was a great place to stay in Puerto Aventuras. We would stay again, but hopefully the back yard is given a little more love.

Chez Waffle Hotel had its charm, including a cute pond right outside our bedroom it was cute with fishes and it was connected to the lakefront. However there were two lounge chairs nearby but they were unfortunately dirty, making the outside patio less appealing as a place to relax. Despite these drawbacks, the location was convenient for our plans, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The on-site coffee shop adds a nice touch, and the chilaquiles are a must-try. We stayed for one night, and it served as a decent, affordable option for a short stay, but the outdoor cleanliness could definitely be improved.

I loved the canal view from my room. There is a swimming pool and a "pool" was created with ocean water and tropical fish, that has water flowing in from the boat canal. It was early May, low season, when I stayed and I felt like I had the place to myself. The room was nice and had everything I needed. You might want to rent a bike or a golf cart to get around. I loved Puerto Adventuras. The ocean water was calm and clear to swim/snorkel in because of the artificial reef. Very safe and quiet. Good to get away from the chaos of Playa del Carmen. El hotel es pequeño pero acogedor. Está dentro de una urbanización privada puerto aventuras. Si tomas tours del grupo Xcaret debes tomar taxi hasta el hotel más cercano donde recogen y para ir a comer de igual manera o caminas unos 20 minutos a la plaza de comidas que está dentro del lugar. La atención de las chicas fue buena.

This is a beautiful hotel located on a gorgeous, quiet street. My family and I had a wonderful stay here. It's a perfect location, with the restaurant right on site for breakfast & lunch. We loved all the restaurants & shops just down the road and of course watching the dolphins.

Es muy bonito, el lugar, no hay mucha gente, y puedes estar tranquilo en las áreas comunes, está muy agradable para ir a pasar el fin de semana, además incluyen el desayuno, que también es muy rico, lo único es que prácticamente te obligan a desayunar de ocho a 10 de la mañana, y si tú quisieras descansar y pararte un poco más tarde, pues no tienes la opción, pero el resto todo bien 💖

Il n'y avait pas de réception, aucune indication comment récupéré la clé. La toilette dans la chambre était brisée (chasse d'eau défectueuse), les draps étaient sales, serviettes et verres pour 2 alors que nous étions 3. Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans la douche. La piscine était sale et inutilisable. Il y avait des fourmis rouge dans la chambre et elles nous piquaient dans nos lits la nuit. Les photos ne correspondent pas ce à quoi l'hôtel ressemble maintenant. Le resto chez Waffle offrait de bons petits déjeuners. Le quartier de Puerto Aventuras est absolument magnifique. MAIS CHOISISSEZ UN AUTRE HÔTEL

The hotel is nicely decorated, however the service was not optimal, one night I had to go out at 3 am to ask the next door guest to low the volume down because nobody in the hotel took action. I was traveling with my 2 kids. The food of the restaurant is ok not even the waffles were good, we decided to take breakfast better in the marina. The thing that saves it is the pool

Great stay for the money. It’s on the harbor side but there’s public beach access within walking distance. The hotel provides free bikes if walking isn’t your thing. Rooms are clean and have a typical hotel layout. The patio is equipped with a hammock and a beach lounger. There’s a small pool to cool off in. There’s a small bridge across the edge of the lagoon that forms a pool inside the property with fish. The restaurant is everything waffles (even a burger waffle). Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! Food has chef vibes! I recommend renting a golf cart for shopping and access to more restaurants. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Coconut bar is about 1/4 mile away. Cheers!
