We booked this hostel more than a month ago and arrived around 8 PM after a one-hour drive from San Sebastián. The parking lot was closed, and when my husband walked to the door, he found it locked. He knocked, but no one answered. Suddenly, a guest from a nearby window informed us that the owner had gone out and that he was alone there (with no other guests). The guest suggested we call the numbers posted on the door. We called, but nobody answered. I immediately canceled our reservation through Hotels.com, and they informed me that a refund would be processed. We had to search for another place to stay at that late hour, which obviously meant we had to pay twice for accommodation. I think this kind of option shouldn’t be offered at all So choose another option

La recepción está en el bar. Fuímos primero dobde marcaba hotel, (subir un piso con una maleta grande y un niño. No cuenta con ascensor. Nuestra habitación estaba en la segunda planta y había que subir como a una tercera planta. Habitación fría cuando llegamos. El radiador de la habitación tenía un termostato que nos costó saber....tardó en calentarse la habitación. Pedimos habitación superior con cama de matrimonio pero eran dos camas con una sábana. Había un edredón para colocar pero era muy fino, apenas hacía algo. La mampara de la ducha se caía una puerta, no muy buena limpieza en la mampara. No supimos cuál era el wifi.
