Aritzalko

This is a roadside hostel about 40 km out of Pamplona city. There’s no reception at this property as check-in and check-out is done at the bar located next door with limited hours. We’ve experienced extreme hight temperature 38°+ Celsius without AC which was very inhuman. Room (101) door lock was broken (safety concern). Bed sheets and towels were dirty, WiFi didn't work either. There’s an obvious lack of management at this place, we do not recommend this property!

We booked this hostel more than a month ago and arrived around 8 PM after a one-hour drive from San Sebastián. The parking lot was closed, and when my husband walked to the door, he found it locked. He knocked, but no one answered. Suddenly, a guest from a nearby window informed us that the owner had gone out and that he was alone there (with no other guests). The guest suggested we call the numbers posted on the door. We called, but nobody answered. I immediately canceled our reservation through Hotels.com, and they informed me that a refund would be processed. We had to search for another place to stay at that late hour, which obviously meant we had to pay twice for accommodation. I think this kind of option shouldn’t be offered at all So choose another option

El baño tenía humedad y arañas. Le hace falta una pequeña reforma. Es verdad que está en medio de un bosque. Pero deben controlar el tema insectos.
