Home from home atmosphere. Naturally friendly and helpfully staff. We had a Cababa Studio. Useful to be able to cook with the Auldi just a few minutes walk. Regular trains to Marienplaz. Lovely and quiet, great late continental breakfast until 1100am with free use of coffee and tea throughout the day.

Amazing place and people not far away from Munich and S-U-Bahn. Car park for the car for €19 and space to park the bikes. Would actually be nice to have some proper bike racks on which we could lock the bike and a plug for charging them. But apart from that 1st Class! well done!

We stayed 8 nights at Rioca 3 and have to say it was a good experience overall. The hotel is well designed with a Brazilian theme that is followed through with little touches here and there. Many employees at reception are also Brazilian. The first two nights, there was an issue with the AC in our room and we got the full Brazilian experience, having to sleep with windows open wide. Thanks to Cassano at reception, our room was changed to a better one and he also fixed our safe which was initially not working. We are grateful for his prompt decisions and proactivity. The hotel has a lot to offer, a café restaurant, a great roof terrace, a co-working space, a laundry room and a small gym that I used twice. The area of the hotel felt very peaceful and there were 2 supermarkets nearby. The S-Bahn is 5 minutes away by foot and leads you to the ’Haupbanhof’, the main train station, which is ultra convenient. We tried the breakfast one morning. It was with a small buffet and we loved the variety of options, including some Brazilian specialities, meat and cakes… There was a good atmosphere in this hotel and everyone was friendly. We recommend it.

Excelente hotel. Os atendentes da recepção falam português e são muito atenciosos e simpáticos, era o Marcos, a Melissa e a Letícia, que fizeram a diferença na estadia. O hotel tem decoração do Rio de Janeiro e é lindo e confortável. Tem Globo Play na televisão e uma máquina de chá, café, leite com café e leite com chocolate gratuito na recepção.

The apartment was clean and tidy, although a slight damp smell in the bathroom area. Enough space in room, the mood lighting was broken in our room but we didn’t need it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming & loved the free tea/coffee downstairs. We always enjoyed that in a morning with fresh pastries from the bakery nearby!

Stayed for one week. Excellent location for public transport, S-Bahn station with direct line to both city center and central station just 300 meters away. Room in good condition, fridge, Chromecast and even a dishwasher and basic cutlery for longer stays. Nice bar at the reception as well.

Room and hotel was clean and staff polite However a few little issues have not secured my custom on future visits to Munich. Rooms are not cleaned daily (we stayed a week and were informed we needed to ask mid week - we did but I don’t think it would have been cleaned if we hadn’t asked). Cleaning does not include changing glasses / cups - they provide a small bit of washing up liquid and a tea towel but beyond a bit of a swill the kitchen set up is not really suitable for cooking and cleaning up after a small meal being cooked. There is a small dishwasher but you have to buy the tablets from reception for €1 euro. Kitchen has sink / microwave (but with a sticker over the display which makes it awkward to use) and two hobs. There is a Nespresso coffee maker, but really annoying that you have to pay €1.50 to reception for pods to use it - which seems very unreasonable given it is a hotel (just give guests some instant coffee)! You can go and get free cups of coffee from the reception area to take to your room - but it’s a lot of faf to get a hot drink in the morning/evening (including down and up the lift). To use the laundry facilities you need to pay (which is fair) - but the only option is via a downloaded app to which you have to add a minimum of €20 credit - then buy a detergent tablet for €2 euros. Just some niggles that make a lovely place not so appealing as it really should be as a hotel. The location is fab - 10 mins on the U Bahn and you are in the centre.

Lovely stay here in October for 4 nights. Very kind and welcoming reception staff who could not have done more to make us comfortable. The apartment was excellent, well-equipped, very modern and cool and all we needed for a few days. Hotel is about 10 minutes on S-Bahn from Munich centre (Marienplatz) but it does have grocery shops and restaurants nearby too. Area is quiet (mostly students and industry/office blocks) and very safe. Roof terrace was a bonus for watching the sun go down, enjoying a free hot chocolate from reception. Perfect base for exploring all Munich has to offer.

Lovely new hotel! I stayed here during Oktoberfest and the hosts were very nice and accommodating. Loved the spacious room layout and felt right at home here. It was helpful to have a small kitchen for making meals but I really loved the breakfast, too! I appreciated that you could also do your laundry here for a small fee, which helped me a lot. Would definitely stay here again. It's away from the city center and in a quiet safe area and easily reachable via public transit. Thank you so much for having me!

Der Caipirinha ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist schön und hat eine gute Lage. Die Kaffeemaschine steht für jeden Gast kostenlos zu Verfügung, unter dem Hotel befindet sich die Hoteleigene Tiefgarage die man extra bezahlen muss. Die Zimmer sind schön groß aber die Sauberkeit im Zimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig, der Vorhang hat Flecken das Bett war sehr eingestaubt allgemein ist das Zimmer sehr staubig gewesen

A propriedade aparenta ser relativamente nova, tudo em ótimas condições. Tem muitas opções de transporte público na proximidade, inclusive fica a poucos metros de uma estação de S BAHN, porém fica aproximadamente 30 minutos do centro de Munique. Conta também com supermercados e outros comércios a poucos passos. Funcionários quase na maioria são brasileiros, sempre animados e dispostos a ajudar. Meu quarto possuía uma pequena cozinha com vários utensílios, inclusive uma máquina de nespresso. Peguei dias muito quentes e o ar condicionado não estava funcionando. Mas meu maior ponto de atenção é em relação a limpeza do quarto, encontrei fios de cabelo tanto na roupa de banho como de cama, mas o ponto crítico foi ao utilizar o vaso sanitário logo após o meu check in, me deparei com sujeira de respingos de urina. A limpeza do quarto é feita a cada 3 dias, como fiquei 5 dias, foram limpá-lo um dia, mas não trocaram a roupa de cama e nem reportam papel higiênico.

Correcto pero en 3 noches no nos limpiaron la habitación y el desayuno es caro por lo que es, eso sí, el café es gratuito, pero solo a partir de las 7:00am.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Es ist alles sehr schön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, das Appartement (wir hatten das Copacabana) war geräumig, sauber und top ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, von der Auswahl her war alles da was man braucht und es gab auch einige leckere brasilianische Spezialitäten. Es gibt eine 2 stöckige,Hoteleigene, sehr gepflegte Tiefgarage für 19€/Tag (der Preis war leider nicht auf Expedia angegeben, aber wir hatten in München natürlich keine kostenlosen Parkplätze erwartet). Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat war das Bett, welches etwas hart und zu einer Seite hin schief war (man hatte den Eindruck man rollt seitlich runter). Ich hätte nie gedacht, das mal schreiben zu müssen aber die Uhr-Anzeige der Mikrowelle war nachts so hell, dass sie uns geblendet hat und wir die Anzeige irgendwie abdecken mussten (den Kleberesten zu urteilen waren wir auch nicht die ersten). Aber alles in allem meckern auf hohem Niveau, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren 3 Nächte zu Gast im Rioca Munich. Das Hotel und das Apartment entsprachen vollkommen unseren Erwartungen und waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein paar Ecken im Zimmer waren leider nicht so sauber wie sie hätten sein sollen (z.B.: Haare am Kopfteil des Bettes, einige Flecken auf der Sitzfläche der Eckbank, Staub auf dem Tisch). Uns störte das nicht so doll, doch andere Gäste könnten damit ein Problem haben. Da sollte etwas nachgebessert werden und mehr darauf geachtet werden. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider sprachen viele der Mitarbeiter nur Englisch, was für uns kein Problem darstellte, aber für andere Gäste, die nicht so gut oder gar kein Englisch sprechen können, doch problematisch sein könnte. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, S-Bahn und auch U-Bahn Station sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen und man ist in wenigen Minuten an den wichtigsten Orten. Das Angebot an Getränken an der Bar war ausreichend (und auch sehr lecker), könnte aber durchaus noch vergrößert werden. Zusammenfassend waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder, vielleicht auch an einem anderen Standort 😊

Super mit S- oder U-Bahn zu erreichen. Hotel ist stylisch und passend zu Rio eingerichtet. 15€ für den Hund sind absolut okay & normal, jedoch wäre es schön einen Hundenapf auf dem Zimmer zu haben. Sauberkeit im Zimmer aufjedenfall verbesserungsfähig (Haare im Bett und in jedem Handtuch), verschmierte Fronten an Küche und Schränken, alte Schokolade?! auf der Fernbedienung, Badinnentüre definitiv auch länger nicht geputzt). Zusätzlich hat der gestellte Seifenspender einen hänger und beim Hände waschen duscht man fast mit. Frühstück war in Ordnung, haben unsere Teller selbst abräumen müssen um wieder Platz zu haben.

Hotel um pouco longe das atrações turísticas, porém tem transporte público próximo e fácil para estação de trem e para o centro. O Staf do hotel foi muito prestativo e simpático, excelente. Quarto de bom tamanho, a ressalva fica para limpeza que segundo critérios do hotel é realizada a cada três dias, ou seja, muito tempo, porém solicitamos a limpeza do quarto durante a nossa estadia e fomos atendidos. Recepção nota 10.

Super Konzept mit kleinen Apartments und richtig klug genutzten Räumen. Das Frühstück war lecker und das WLAN stabil. Mit der Bahn ist man in zehn Minuten in der Innenstadt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

We loved our stay here while we were visiting after the Berlin Marathon (for Oktoberfest). Conveniently located near public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. We loved having a night cap at the bar after our long days out exploring. The drinks were delicious and cheap. Staff treated you like family when you walked through the door. The breakfast options were perfect and delicious for fueling up for the day. My only complaint was the AC wasn’t working great. Other than that I would highly recommend.

This hotel was really lovely. Clean, friendly and very comfortable. It was close to both the S-bahn and U-bahn which made everything very accessible, as well as having a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy close by. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. We had breakfast once and it was good - lots of options as well as free tea/coffee in the lobby at all times. The staff were helpful and friendly. I’d definitely recommend the Rioca!

Hôtel sans service, réception absente le matin et le soir après 20:00. Très bruyant : simple vitrage sur la rue, aucune isolation entre les chambres et avec le hall… Literie bas de gamme très inconfortable. Du style, oui… mais c’est tout. Sinon propre.

Gode værelser i fin stand. Desværre foregår al skriftlig kommunikation kun på tysk. Vores værelse vendte ud til vejen lige over receptionen hvilket medførte megen nattestøj.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt in Ordnung. In fußläufiger Nähe ist der Bahnhof München-Siemenswerke sowie die U-Bahn Station Obersendling. Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs gibt es keine. Kritikpunkte wären das die Mitarbeiter in vielen Fällen überhaupt kein deutsch oder aber selbst an der Rezeption nur mässiges deutsch sprechen. Weiterhin ist zumindest im Zimmer 511 der Wasserhahn in der Küchenzeile defekt gewesen und herausgebrochen. Dadurch wurden wir kurz vor unserer Abreise naß und mussten uns nochmals umziehen.

The staff were very helpful as soon as we walked in. The front room is the breakfast are so we weren’t sure if we were in the right place. However, staff offered to hold our bags and even check us in early so that we could go to Oktoberfest. While we were waiting for a room to get cleaned we grabbed some coffee and hung out in their lobby. The room we stayed in was very clean and modern. We actually saved money buy getting a hotel that is a little further from Oktoberfest. However, it was a short tram ride to get to the festival. The tram station was through some construction, but still easy enough to find (10 min walk). Additionally, the train from the airport has a stop one block from the hotel.

The room was clean and quite uniquely decorated. It had all the amenities, including cookware. The front door was locked but worked with a key card. Check in did not go well. Expedia said there was garage parking, and if there was something about a fee for parking I missed it. It turned out there was a fee but I didn't learn that until later. I found no regular entrance. There was a garage entrance with a post with things that might be buttons, but no clue what to do. I drove to the bottom and found a gate. I carefully backed the car to the top and tried pressing things. I heard nothing, but a light turned green. I waited then inched to the bottom to see if there was any change, and found the gate going down and almost closed. I slowly and carefully backed the car up the curved ramp again. I pressed things again. I barely heard a voice, couldn't make it out. The green light went on again and I drove quickly to the bottom and got into the garage. Parking was a bit tricky, then I went up to the lobby. I learned about the garage parking fee so I went down to re-park on the street, but I could not get out. I parked again, walked up to ask how to get out - it was a pull cord. Then I spent about 30 minutes finding a parking space. Then I couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights. Another trip to the desk...

In general a good hotel, nice rooms with enough space and friendly staff. It's a bit outside the inner city but its very well connected via public transit. I'm o ly givi g 3 stars because the breakfasts area which is somehow the same as the reception was often times unattended, specifically during breakfast rush hour most of the tables would be full with dirty plates from previews guests and it would take several minutes until someone would notice amd come outside from the kitchen to clean and make space for other guests. It happened 2 nights out of 3 that we stayed. But I would stay again here.

We loved the location of this property, very close to U bahn and S bahn and less than 15 minutes into Munich. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice and clean, spacious and well equipped, with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone going to Munich.

Staff and facilities were great. The bartenders were all wonderful and gave some wonderful recommendations for local eateries. U-bahn and S-bahn stations are within walking distance. Would recommend and stay again.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Rioco, mit kleinem Hund- Empfang super nett Tiefgarage Ausstattung des Zimmers - alles was man braucht Wlan super Komme gerne wieder! Alles in allem eine sehr entspannte Stimmung im Haus

zero communication, check in was impossible. they did not communicate the process or code to get in. once we figured it out by having to make a few phone calls, the A/C was broken. and it was really hot, also impossible to contact anyone because there was no staff at the hotel. Lastly, on our second night, the key stopped working and we couldn’t get into the building, and it was late. Since there was no one in the “hotel” and communication was impossible, we had to wait until someone left or came in to get into the building.

The staff were friendly and down to earth. They were happy to help with any questions we had.

O hotel é fantástico! Café da manhã maravilhoso. Quartos limpos e espaçosos. Uma estação de trem em 3 minutos de caminhada e metrô em 5 minutos. Dois supermercados e uma farmácia bem próximos do hotel! O clima no hotel é super animado e acolhedor! A equipe merece destaque: todos atenciosos e prestativos. Em especial Milena, Augusto e Cassiano, sempre solicitos! Em Munique, me hospedarei sempre lá!

Hotel incrível, pessoal que trabalha no hotel são Brasileiros, facilita a comunicação e direcionamento caso precise. Hotel fica distante do centro em uma zona residencial e escolar muito tranquila. Precisa ir de carro, pegar um Uber ou metrô para visitar as atrações da cidade, nada difícil, pegamos metrô e foi super simples e rápido. Recomendo o hotel a outros viajantes.

First time ive ever stayed here. Will stay here in the future and not return to my usual hotel. Transport was perfect a 2 minute walk away. Retailers are also 2 minute walk away. Even got given a tour of hotel lobby when arrived.

Good location close to S7 and U3 trains. Close to about 4 restaurants and bars. Staff very nice and attentive.

My stay at Rioca was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had recently. The apartment was exceptionally convenient, with many thoughtful details throughout. The kitchenette is fully equipped for light cooking, and the inclusion of a dishwasher is a valuable bonus. The bathroom is spacious, and the room itself is significantly larger than those in comparable apart-hotels. It features a comfortable bed, a working desk, and a sitting area. I particularly appreciated the integrated speaker in the nightstand, as I'm a music lover. Another great feature is that coffee and tea are available for free throughout the day in the reception area. The property also has a washer/dryer in the basement, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay at Rioca again wherever they have affiliate hotels, and I've already rebooked for my next trip to Munich this autumn. The breakfast was also quite nice, with a delicious smoothie available every morning—everything I needed for a simple, homely breakfast. Nothing fancy, but definitely satisfying. The bar was great, with friendly staff and a fantastic Caipirinha, though the selection of alcoholic drinks was somewhat limited. The only downside for me was that the coworking area in the lobby was a bit too noisy for taking calls, as the music was loud. However, if you don't need to join Zoom meetings and just need a place to work, it’s perfectly fine.
