Cabins were clean and tidy. Could have done with some microwave containers 😬 Good laundry facilities. Park was very quiet mid May when we stayed. Great proximity to Flinders Chase National Park. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

The location is ideal for a visit to Remarkable Rocks etc and other attractions around Western KI. The people were super friendly and helpful. The deluxe cabin was very comfortable. Quiet air con, plenty of space in the living area and a balcony where we could watch the kangaroos, geese, wallabies and even Koalas. Wifi was mostly ok. Telstra 4G worked well. There is a shop with enough for a simple meal and they do some takeaway items at lunch (pies etc). We loved our 2 night visit.

Bellissima struttura di fronte all'ingresso del Flinders Chase Park. Immersa nel verde, canguri, koala e altri animali che camminano liberamente. Offre sia servizio di campeggio che piccoli appartamenti. Ottima pulizia, appartamento completo di tutto, cucina e aria condizionata calda e fredda. Wifi disponibile gratis, lavanderia. We stayed in 4 of the motel rooms. The rooms were spotless and looked brand new. The aircon took no time at all to warm the room and there was a good size communal kitchen. The park is very close to Flinders National Park, including Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. It is also quite close to Seal Bay and Raptor Domain.

The park was close to all the activities I wanted to do. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything you needed was here, gas and groceries if you were caught short. Walk around the grounds and there were lots of kangaroos and geese. The cabin was fantastic, modern, clean and cosy.

The park was good, clean, neat and tidy. All staff were welcoming. The park is situated at the western end of Kangaroo Island as such there is no nearby food services. The nearest restaurant is about 75 kilometers away; therefore you need to take your own food.

We had a bungalow within this campground. Mostly all new, very clean and well organized. Excellent location near park entrance. No dining options nearby so assume you will cook on-site. Friendly and helpful personnel. Highly recommended for access to Flinders Chase NP.

A clean well run park. Cabins are new and well setup. Lovely grounds to walk through with plenty of wildlife. Convenient for exploring the west end. Good luck with the continued post bushfire recovery.

We had a one bedroom cabin with a veranda in a wonderful peaceful setting surrounded by eucalyptus trees. It was so fun to do the daily koala update as far as where she/he/they were located. Great place for all travelers and the perfect base to explore Flinders Chase. Thank you Discovery KI team for a great stay!

Very close to Flinder chase national park. In tbe middle of nature. We saw plenty of kangaroos and 2 koalas there. The room is new and clean, however that motel room can hear noise from neighbour.

Amazing! The best place in KI if you want to visit the park, remarkable rock ans so on. The front desk staff was real nice and our cabin was large and fully equipped and clean We strongly recommend this place and as bonus at sunset we saw kangourous and koala within 50 feet of our cabin

The actual cabin was great. It was in a perfect remote location like we wanted. It was very comfortable and spacious. There were kangaroos and koalas around us, which was so great. Now the downsides - we arrived to the cabins around 6 pm and the front desk was already closed. We have USA phones with roaming data, but no data there. There was a sign up in the window to call their Australian number, but we had no way of doing so and had just driven 1.5 hours after getting off the ferry to get there. Thankfully our rental had a WiFi hotspot we were able to use to call. The lady who answered didn’t sound too pleased about us calling but we were able to get the key for the cabin. The other issue we had is that we booked one of the nicer cabins, which was further away from reception. The WiFi didn’t reach our cabin the whole time we were there. That was disappointing to say the least.

Auf dem Gelände gab es mehrere Kängurus und sogar eine Koala-Mutter mit ihrem Nachwuchs.

Perfect stay. Open area, with camp side and holiday houses. We stayed in a holiday house, very new and clean. Airco, fully equipped kitchen, good bathroom with shower. Only the bedroom is a bit small, but you just sleep there, so no problem at all. Koala’s and geese during the day, kangaroos at night. Camp shop with all you need. Near to Flinders Chase. Highly recommended.

We had bit a of an issue as the booking had been cancelled by expedia but there was still availability and the camping managers were able to find a cabin for us. The camping is pretty simple , the surrounding are great.

Wonderful location. Friendly, helpful staff who are happy to have a chat and share their knowledge of the area. Loved being able to wake up to the sounds of the birds and watch the kangaroos grazing only meters away while having a morning cuppa. Will definitely recommended this location to friends and family visiting the island.

staff had done a great job cleaning the premises and kitchen/cooking items. the unit was all it was advertised as, including plenty of kangaroos/wallabies on the site (including easily finding the resident koalas). great location for proximity to the natural features that were the main reason we visited Kangaroo Island (flinders chase NP, seal bay, raptor domain). reception staff very friendly and helpful

Lovely staff - thank you Chris and Margaret for helping to keep kids entertained and also help us see koala and baby joey just before our departure. friendly, clean property, and just a unique experience to be able to stay somewhere where your neighbours are koalas in back tree and kangaroos in the garden.

This was a great location for easy access of Flinders Chase National Park. I was very relieved to drive less in the dark after seeing the sunset at Admirals Arch.

staff had done a great job cleaning the premises and kitchen/cooking items. the unit was all it was advertised as, including plenty of kangaroos/wallabies on the site (including easily finding the resident koalas). great location for proximity to the natural features that were the main reason we visited Kangaroo Island (flinders chase NP, seal bay, raptor domain). reception staff very friendly and helpful

Quite, friendly staff and a lot of wildlife. We saw wild Kangaroos, Koalas in the caravan park. The Motel rooms are new - so very pleasant stay. Flinders Chase national park is just 10-15 Minutes driving away and Hanson bay (a nice swimming beach) is also less than 10 Minutes away. I fully recommend this Accommodation.

We had a bungalow within this campground. Mostly all new, very clean and well organized. Excellent location near park entrance. No dining options nearby so assume you will cook on-site. Friendly and helpful personnel. Highly recommended for access to Flinders Chase NP.

The two bedrooms cabin is nearly brand new. We can see the Kangaroos and wallabies just right in front of cabin. It is very close to the Flinders Chase National Park, and other must-see sights in the Kangaroo Island. We can buy fresh food and hot pies in the receptions. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal for a visit to Remarkable Rocks etc and other attractions around Western KI. The people were super friendly and helpful. The deluxe cabin was very comfortable. Quiet air con, plenty of space in the living area and a balcony where we could watch the kangaroos, geese, wallabies and even Koalas. Wifi was mostly ok. Telstra 4G worked well. There is a shop with enough for a simple meal and they do some takeaway items at lunch (pies etc). We loved our 2 night visit.

The park was good, clean, neat and tidy. All staff were welcoming. The park is situated at the western end of Kangaroo Island as such there is no nearby food services. The nearest restaurant is about 75 kilometers away; therefore you need to take your own food.

Everything is new, due to the terrible 2020 bush fires, they're doing their very best. The shop is excellent owing to nothing else being available near by, they provide an excellent service for the Flinders Chase district.

Great little cabin. Well equipped. Loved having kangaroos and koalas around the cabin. Also nice to have a table and chairs on the deck to enjoy the view and nature.
