Overall, we had a lovely stay here. The staff were excellent. Property is a bit out of the way of popular destinations but we loved the peace and quiet. If we needed to go anywhere taxis arrived quickly and there is a bus stop nearby. Buffet food was good enough, plenty food/drink options, and lots of entertainment every night. Only big issue we had was that there was construction/drilling works being done in the room below ours which we were not informed about for 3-4 days in a row which meant we couldn't relax in the room during the day.

The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet. Food good quality and well presented. Rooms clean and well appointed although some of the plumbing was a bit dated (Shower on flexible from bath tap. Bath took about an hour to fill). Bar service was efficient and most drinks were available as all inclusive. Large family friendly pools with plenty of sunbeds. Use of facilities at adjacent sister hotel was a great advantage.

Firstly can I say how good all the staff were. The hotel itself is a bit tired as I believe its around 25 years old. We booked a standard room which was out the back looking onto the main hotel block. We asked if there was any possibility of changing the room to give us a sea view. We where told we could upgrade to a room with a seaview for 140.00 euros for the week , which we reluctantly paid as we didn't want to stay in basically a shed.The location was a little bit isolated , but you can get a taxi or the bus if you want to go into Adeje or Playa.. If you don't like stairs, then you may struggle.Food was good and the gardens and walk ways well kept.If you like staying in a complex and not going to far, then this is a great holiday destination .

We stayed at the Bahia Principe Sunlight, Tenerife side for a week, commencing July 23rd. The hotel had good facilities and the staff were great, especially the animation team - fabulous with kids! However, the hotel is in need of some TLC, especially in the rooms. Furthermore, at capacity, it is very crowded and getting a sun lounger can be a real challenge! I have heard that the hotel will be undergoing a 10-month renovation, commencing in January 2025. I am sure they will address and modernise during that time. The Adeje side of the complex, is more tranquil, whilst also being very busy. It is more spacious.

Awesome holiday for the kids, entertainment was superb, Jose teresa and co were awesome from start to finish, lots of activities water polo basket aqua zumba etc lots to do for them. Food for all inclusive was decent, lots of variety each night, property was super clean, lots of staff around each morning cleaning, and always a good morning very friendly. My only criticism is the sunbed situation each morning, peak season so most likely everywhere around is the same.overall superb Would definitely come back Thanks Bahlia Principe

Public area,s and cleanliness good.Facilities good, food and drink selection very good. Staff all friendly and helpful. Some improvements suggest: hair dryer difficult to use, pillows too hard, lack of paper information explaining what the facilities were in the hotel ie, opening times of restaurants and their menu’s etc, therefore too much reliance on apps and QR codes,meaning customers having to do all the searching instead of having a folder in the room with everything to hand. Balconey needs hanging frames for wet towels.

The hotel is clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is not at the centre of Costa Adeje but only 15 minutes away but taxi. Overall a great experience.

All the staff are so good and friendly and the hotel is spotless great facilities al round and the manager david was a great person to deal with had loads of time for us really appreciated his help.

Personnel accueillant et disponible. Hotel très propre, calme et à 20 mn en voiture de Las Americas. Chambre soigneusement nettoyée chaque matin. Restauration globalement de qualité mais les buffets sont un peu répétitifs . Une version améliorée n'est proposée semble-t-il que le samedi et vendredi . La prestation globale reste acceptable pour passer un très bon séjour.

Fabuloso, totalmente recomendable, comida muy buena y variada, todo limpio, el complejo, habitaciones... Dónde nos quedamos que fue el bahía Príncipe sunlight Tenerife es más pequeño pero puedes desplazarte al Costa Adeje que es mayor y usar las instalaciones y bares de piscinas, unos de los mejores hoteles que nos hemos quedado.
Fabuloso, totalmente recomendable, comida muy buena y variada, todo limpio, el complejo, habitaciones... Dónde nos quedamos que fue el bahía Príncipe sunlight Tenerife es más pequeño pero puedes desplazarte al Costa Adeje que es mayor y usar las instalaciones y bares de piscinas, unos de los mejores hoteles que nos hemos quedado.

I would not book to stay here again. You have to be up by 7 in the morning to get a sun-bed as people are queuing, one morning one of the staff said to all the crowd 'are you ready' then everyone just ran for the sunbeds. They literally go within seconds. Also the hotel is dirty, not so bad around the pool area but the room was filthy. The food was good and some of the staff were friendly. Ifs a nice spot round the infinity pool. We had a junior suite, the tele and the jet bath didnt work. Took them a while to actually Fix it. I found the reception staff rude and unapproachable. The best think about it was the italian restaurant.

Staff was amazing, very tentative and patient. They were always ready to service and ensure you are happy. The hotel rooms for families are a little outdated. Beds were very uncomfortable. I did not like the fact that everyday all guest were lied to, about the wifi connection. It was very inconsistent the entire stay. Overall the location is perfect, pool area beautiful and the village was excellent.

Overall, we had a lovely stay here. The staff were excellent. Property is a bit out of the way of popular destinations but we loved the peace and quiet. If we needed to go anywhere taxis arrived quickly and there is a bus stop nearby. Buffet food was good enough, plenty food/drink options, and lots of entertainment every night. Only big issue we had was that there was construction/drilling works being done in the room below ours which we were not informed about for 3-4 days in a row which meant we couldn't relax in the room during the day.

This property is woefully outdated. The “balcony” room we were first given was absolutely dreadful (think dark, moldy smelling, abutting a toddler play area with views of a homeless population behind the hotel). Management after much back & forth did upgrade our room to a “suite” which had a non-working fan, no fridge and old/tired decor. While I appreciate the upgrade which made it so we could stay there, the property in general is old & tired. Food was average. Staff overall were great- attentive & hardworking. Overall, definitely spend your money elsewhere!!

Hotellet ser fint ut på ytan men rummet som vi hade var väldigt slitet. Sängarna var stenhårda, kuddarna stenhårda och omöjliga att ligga på. Vid poolen är det hög musik och aktiviteter under dagarna. Solsängarna var i dåligt skick.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr freundliches Personal, Service wirklich exzellent. Zimmer und Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber. Zu wenige Liegen am Pool, aber Pool und Liegen des Schwesterhotels können mit genutzt werden. Minibar besteht nur aus einer großen Flasche Wasser und wird nicht immer aufgefüllt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge sehr gut geeignet.

The amenities, food options, facilities, environment, and service personnel were great! The reception staff are horrible! My room lost electricity twice in three days and my room key was disabled and they acted like I was the problem. They also did nothing to compensate me a lot make up for their error, attitude, and room damage!

The Hotel is in a quiet location but easily accessible for taxis and local buses. The Staff were very accommodating and helpful when needed. You can book 3 x a la carte restaurants, for the time you’re there. Do this on the app before you get there as you can do it on a stand alone computer. But the timings and slots go very fast. We didn’t get to the Mexican restaurant but the food at the Italian and Meat restaurant (twice), was outstanding. The food in the main restaurant was plentiful and a wide array of different types of food to cater for everyone. The freshly prepared omelettes at breakfast were amazing. The pool bar had a free standing beer, sangria, coffee, juice and water dispenser. Cakes, pastries and small sandwiches. You could also order a variety of hot snacks ranging from chicken nuggets, chicken, toasties and chips. Ice cream and fresh fruit also available.

Overall, I found the property clean and well maintained with excellent customer service. The 'Sunlight' is the smaller sister to the 'Costa Adeje' resort and share a lot of the amenities, which I did not really understand until we arrived. The resort is situated on a cliff with a beautiful view and some walking paths. The thing I did not like was that it was secluded, meaning you could not walk to other shops, restaurants, etc. You could get a bus to other areas like Playa de las Americas, but otherwise you would need a car or taxi to visit more populated areas. The buffet was convenient and well stocked, but after a few meals, I was 'over it'. I think this place is well suited for large groups, with small kids, that are just fine hanging out by the pool all day and enjoying the 'resort life' without really wanting to explore the rest of the island. Firstly can I say how good all the staff were. The hotel itself is a bit tired as I believe its around 25 years old. We booked a standard room which was out the back looking onto the main hotel block. We asked if there was any possibility of changing the room to give us a sea view. We where told we could upgrade to a room with a seaview for 140.00 euros for the week , which we reluctantly paid as we didn't want to stay in basically a shed.The location was a little bit isolated , but you can get a taxi or the bus if you want to go into Adeje or Playa.. If you don't like stairs, then you may struggle.Food was good and the gardens and walk ways well kept.If you like staying in a complex and not going to far, then this is a great holiday destination .

I have stayed at other Bahia Principe properties, so my expectations probably were too high. This location wasn’t as impressive as Bouganville in the Dominican Republic or Runaway Bay in Jamaica. Rooms and common areas were clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the lack of a coffee pot in the room as well as no room service was a definite disappointment. No ice machine or vending, so I had to go to the lobby/bar for a soda or a cup of tea, which I typically enjoy in my room or on the balcony. Bed was uncomfortable. Low and hard. Nice robes. Thin towels, no wash clothes. The restaurant food was fair. Very limited options, not much variety, except for Christmas. The holiday dinner was delicious. Doubt that I would stay there again.

The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet. Food good quality and well presented. Rooms clean and well appointed although some of the plumbing was a bit dated (Shower on flexible from bath tap. Bath took about an hour to fill). Bar service was efficient and most drinks were available as all inclusive. Large family friendly pools with plenty of sunbeds. Use of facilities at adjacent sister hotel was a great advantage.

Hi there, the food made my son and myself sick. Once the pool was closed at 6pm there wasn't much to do at all. As the shows weren't on for long enough, I would like to get a refund on the all inclusive as it was terrible.

I cannot explain how lovely most of the staff at this hotel are. It is so important and makes such a difference. Paula in the main restaurant was outstanding, as was Javier the lifeguard. It is ~25 minutes from the airport and easy to get to which is lovely after a 4 hour flight. The renovations are stunning. The quality of the beds, the bar furniture, fixtures and fittings is really evident. All inclusive drinks and food - outstanding. There was even à la carte ‘snack bar’ restaurant food between 12-6 which was wonderful. I don’t often consider returning to the same place, but if I were to go back to Tenerife, I would seriously think about it. Don’t hesitate to book.
I cannot explain how lovely most of the staff at this hotel are. It is so important and makes such a difference. Paula in the main restaurant was outstanding, as was Javier the lifeguard. It is ~25 minutes from the airport and easy to get to which is lovely after a 4 hour flight. The renovations are stunning. The quality of the beds, the bar furniture, fixtures and fittings is really evident. All inclusive drinks and food - outstanding. There was even à la carte ‘snack bar’ restaurant food between 12-6 which was wonderful. I don’t often consider returning to the same place, but if I were to go back to Tenerife, I would seriously think about it. Don’t hesitate to book.
