Great boutique hotel. Fabulous location. Some stairs to navigate

Loved the design of the hotel and how the modern design and how it acknowledges the history of the temple and the Chinese immigrants in the 1800's. There was even a small free tour available with the staff explaining the history (request at the front desk, at 4 pm) which was great. So that brings me to the amazing service. And then the location was outstanding - close to so many hawker stalls, restaurants, and there was lots of nightlife on the Friday and Saturday nights including loud DJ music closeby but amazingly quiet inside the room. Some staff were exceptionally friendly (not all, but they were all helpful). Also, the complimentary snacks and soft drinks, Nespresso, and special teas were great. Some minor inconveniences: there have preserved the idea of a raised threshold that a temple has (explained in the tour) but that also means that you can't roll luggage in easily and need to make a big step getting in and out of the Temok Ayer St. entrance. The other entrance is not one that a car can drive right up to - it's enclosed with restaurants. There are also a few steps here and there along the way to the room after the elevator, so if this is an issue, perhaps inquire about getting a room closer to the elevator? It was easy enough to find someone to help me lift my luggage when needed, but wish they could have a separate modern door to go around the threshold. Also, in different countries, the use of a face towel varies, and here I asked and was able to get it.

The hotel didn’t have a concierge. I chose the hotel because I wanted to book different sightseeing items, but since there wasn’t a concierge, I ended up walking around and finding things to do on my own. The breakfast restaurant choices weren’t the best, but at least breakfast was available.

It's a renovated building so the hallways have a very low ceiling, the floors are uneven even inside the room where you have a set of stairs to get to your tiny bathroom. It feels claustrophobic with windows in my unit facing an interior dead space with no fresh air. It's not designed as a hotel from the ground up so it's quite uncomfortable and has poor design. It seems overpriced as well. The breakfast is at a nearby restaurant that is unprepared to handle guests. I got a tea without sugar and eggs without salt and there is no way to get these basics without requesting them from a man that has 10 other customers to begin helping....

Quaint hotel built in a Temple and storehouse. Every room is different. Not the most handicap friendly as there are stairs in the room and hallway. Will stay there again.

Hotel bem localizado, perto de vários restaurantes/bares. Atendimento muito simpático e cortês. Por ser um prédio de mais de 200 anos, há o inconveniente de degraus dentro do quarto (acho perigoso) e no corredor (ruim pras malas). O café da manhã não é no hotel. É em uma cafeteria ao lado e não é estilo buffet.

プールがメンテナンス中だったのは残念でしたが、雰囲気は非常によくスタッフさんも新設で、素晴らしい滞在でした。

Good location and good quirky style with temple in lobby but no gym and had to go externally for breakfast. Henri was ine and they charged me for refill of coffee which annoying. Rooms ok but small. coffee machine in room did not work and no iron. Positive - price was good

場所はラッフルズプレイスの近くで、建物自体は古い建物を現代風にリノベーションしたような感じ。高層ビルの合間に入口がお寺のようになっていてはじめここが入り口とわからなかった。チェックインはとてもスムーズで、レセプションの方は部屋まで案内してくださりとても親切でした。部屋は綺麗で、広くはないですが荷物を広げるスペースはあり、1人には十分。朝食は近くのレストランでとる形で、とてもおいしかったです。建物中に段差がありバリアフリーは全く考えられていないので、ご老人には不向きかも。あと三階に泊まりましたがシャワーの圧力がものすごく弱かったのが残念でした。

I stayed here for a few days for a conference and wanted something central but easy to get around. The hotel is close to Telok Ayer and Raffles Place MRT stations. There are lots of eating and drinking options around - Lau Pa Sat food court is only a couple of blocks away. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in a cafe behind the hotel, that offers several good options. The decor is a mix of traditional and modern. Room was small but well laid out, modern and clean.

Room was clean and comfortable, and well located next to a metro station. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

チャイナストリートに近く、ショッピングや食事には困らない立地。マーライオン公園も徒歩圏内。 施設は歴史を感じる建物であるが、とても清潔感があり、手が行き届いている。 スタッフもとても丁寧、親切。大切なものを部屋に置き忘れたものの、保管状況もとても良く、トラブル対応もしっかりとしているホテルでした。また泊まりたいですね。

The Amoy hospitality from Staff blew me away. Everybody was happy, helpful and would go the extra mile to ensure your needs were met. Breakfast was from a choice of 2 local cafes and the quality of food was excellent and tasty. My room was clean and comfortable. I especially liked that they had body lotion as standard in the room along with all the usual toiletries. The Air con was efficient and I slept well.

Super tolles Zimmer im chinesischen Stil. Klimaanlage, die einem nicht die ganze Zeit anbläst. Das Zimmer war immer sauber. Nescafe wie auch weitere Verpflegung gratis vorhanden. Sehr netter Empfang, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Ich erhielt ein Willkommens- wie auch auch ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, ich würde jederzeit wieder dort einchecken.

Das Zimmer war erstklassig sauber. Neben den typischen Accessoires im Badezimmer möchte ich hervorheben, dass wir einen Einmal-Rasierer und sogar einen Kamm vorfanden. Die Getränke im Kühlschrank und der Kaffee sind inkludiert. Das gesamte Personal ist herausragend freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wird hinter dem Hotel in einem öffentlichen Restaurant eingenommen. im Kühlschrank sowie der Kaffee sind inkludiert

Room was clean but very small. There is no commodity’s. No desk no wardrobe.

The staff at this hotel are all friendly and accommodating. The room is small but it has everything we need including a comfortable bed. The location is convenient as it is just across the MRT station.

AMOY by Far East Hospitality is a gem — full of charm, history, and warm hospitality. The location is perfect, steps from Telok Ayer MRT and surrounded by great food. Rooms are small but beautifully designed with thoughtful touches and a very comfortable bed. Staff are exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A perfect stay for anyone who wants a unique, authentic Singapore experience.

The staff is a 10! Everyone very appreciative, attentive and courteous. Well done! Rome 308, however, was like sitting on a nightclub speaker until after 3am. The staff did move me to other side of the hotel for the remainder of my stay, but an entire night of not sleeping made this stay less than ideal. Staff - amazing First room - zero atars

I love the bed! For the first night, I can here the music and talking outside, so I asked the reception to change a room for me from the second night. Ivena, from the reception team is super nice, very helpful.

The staff was above and beyond expectations. Great location. Within walking distance to many areas, i.e. Chinatown, Little India, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay.

Thanks to the Amoy staff, we have had one of our most enjoyable vacation experiences in our 55 years of travel. We were greeted most warmly by Nadyah, Adham, Thomas and Jay on our early arrival at the Amoy. Throughout our four day stay, we were treated with first-rate service, and departed with a warm and sincere send-off (thanks Nadyah) like we have never before experienced. We will definitely be returning to Amoy for our next visit to SIngapore.

The AMOY staff treated us like family! They were unbelievably helpful with navigating the city, giving us ideas on things to do and places to see, calling a taxi, and explaining the amenities. The hotel is located right across the street from the MRT (subway), which is very clean, safe and easy to use. Plus they gave a short tour and history of the former Chinese Temple museum at the front entrance.

Best staff for a long time!

Staff was amazing, especially Shirley and another gentlemen that checked me in. I appreciate luggage was delivered to my room, Singapore treats, and breakfast to go when I checked out at 4:30 am for an early flight.

The service and location is amazing. Staff checks up on you for any service they can provide.

History meets 21st century. Great transport link with metro opposite. easy walk to temples and china town. Staff very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend it.

I only stayed overnight and didn't have much time to explore the facilities but would stay there again. Right next to an MRT Station. Easy to get to and from Changi airport and all around the city by underground (MRT).

A great hotel convenient for getting around. Very busy at lunchtimes & evenings. Breakfast food quality good, however if you want anything extra, eg cheese in the plain omelette , it would incur extra charge! Really! Bearing in mind they offer smoked salmon omelette inclusive at breakfast, I thought this was very mean. Other than that, couldn't fault the hotel

The hotel is simply the best. I loved the location, hotel staff and cleanliness, comfort of my bed, breakfasts at Henri's. There was another breakfast option included in my stay, at Genius Central, but I loved Henri so much that had no desire to check it out. Upon arrival I was greeted by Tina, she was also the one who remembered about my birthday several days later and brought a surprise cake. She was on duty when I was checking out and called the taxi for me. I hope to go back to Singapore soon and stay at AMOY again.
