The hotel is nicely situated in a beautiful old monastery. The natural pool is great to spend a day and relax. The staff is very helpful with every question, but seems mostly untrained. A lot of questions we had to ask are question you usually don’t have to ask in a hotel - like showing the waiter how to open a bottle of wine. Cleaning of the room was very basic, mainly only make the beds. Breakfast was to forget: only one big loaf of sourdough bread that you had to cut yourself - no pastries or baguette - very bad for French standards. There was no selection of cold cuts - only one cheese and one type of ham. Coffee was only black - nothing like cappuccino or similar. No eggs, toast or whatsoever. The two types of fruit cut and spread out so thinly that you wouldn’t dare taking more than two pieces. Breakfast kind of ruined the whole experience…

Le lieu est parfaitement restauré, l’accueil comme à la maison, j’ai été surclassée dans l’une des suites si spacieuse avec une décoration toute en pureté. Un moment hors du temps chargé de l’histoire de ces lieux de passage fondés par des moines et qui accueillait les voyageurs. L’Eglise désacralisée qui permet aux artistes d’exposer leurs arts. Un mot magique.
