We got upgraded to a fantastic room with a Mountain view. We used the spa a few times after hiking in the day, we also ate at the restaurant and drank at the bar. I would definitely stay again, all the people that worked there were always helpful. The spa facilities were good and pool , sauna etc were all at a nice hot temperature. The room itself was large and the cleaners were very thorough every day and great at stocking up the supplies.

Room was clean and bathroom was very nice. The location is perfect. For a four star hotel, I was expecting better amenities. The pool and the hot tub were overcrowded and more like a lukewarm bath. Breakfast is ridiculously priced... just go into town.

In Chamonix Sud - ski shop in hotel and ski bus stop across road. Next to bus station. Nice walk into town centre. Fab buffet breakfast. Staff lovely. Room comfortable but a little dark but I believe there are plans to alter the lighting. Nice spa. Second stay this year and would return.

Great hotel at a good price. Good location walking distance to city center and all the action. Easy friendly check in. Room was nice with balcony overlooking mountain and pool. Ski shop in hotel was a nice feature. So easy to rent equipment. Bus picks up right outside on corner. Loved the pool. Heated perfect for swimming even in winter. Hot tub could be slightly warmer but still ok. I would recommend they add another hot tub. Bar was nice with pool table etc. Would definitely recommend and I will stay again when in Chamonix.

Clean room. Great staff. The TINY hot tub was way too small for the size of hotel. And it was often not available. They close it at 8 pm, which is way too early. The 2nd day it was closed from open until 4 pm for maintenance. By 6 pm it still wasn't warm. The 3rd day it was warm and available. The 4th day, it was full with 4 people, then more and more and more people kept coming to the pool / sauna / steam room / hot tub area. Many people wanted to get into the hot tub, but it was so terribly small. We waited for quite a while and then jammed into it with 4 other people. It was lukewarm. Unfortunately, after location, a hot tub is probably our next most important criteria for a ski trip.

Great location and facility, close to town and midi lift. The weather was warm and the room was stuffy even with the balcony door open. Television was not working on the first night but was repaired the next day. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of options but when we arrived at 920 many items were gone and not replaced. Pool and hot tub were nice, but the spa was closed for renovation.

Lovely property with great great pool, sauna and steam room, often a shortage of towels. Think the lobby and main areas only get cleaned once a week as often look in need of a Hoover. Nicely furnished. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Rooms nice and spacious with fridge and balcony. Great location.

Staff are helpful and knowledgable. We approach them a lot of times during our stay. They always answer our enquiries patiently. The spa, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are definitely a highlight of this hotel.

Avant l’arrivée on nous demande par mail quelle chambre nous souhaitons, à l’arrivée pas ce que nous souhaitions alors que nous avons eu un retour de mail positif à notre demande ! Très bon hôtel mais attention chambre sur rue bruyante ! Et surtout ménage pas fait dans la salle de bain : abattant tâché de gouttes d’urine et loulous de cheveux noirs au sol ! Réceptionniste de langue espagnole ne comprenant les français, dommage lorsqu’on se trouve en France! Réponse pas en relation avec le problème notifié. Très bon petit déjeuner et personnel très accueillant. Attention à l’entretien de la piscine surtout en période de forte affluence. Client régulier de cet hôtel mais nous réfléchissons à aller voir ailleurs au vu de ces dégradations de la qualité de cet hôtel… Dommage pour cet structure atypique et sympathique à fort potentiel !

The hotel staff was great. The hotel looked nice and my husband and son enjoyed the pool. You could tell the hotel was updated but the room, specifically the bathroom needed cleaned better. Bathroom smelled of pee, you could see it dirty down the toilet sides. The shower had mold and build up that could have easily been wiped clean…which leads me to believe the shower wasn’t cleaned. The most alarming thing was the hair dryer that was VERY dirty and has mold from the moisture in the bathroom. The rooms had shag style carpet which looks old and dirty and smelled like it had been wet many times. We kept the door open to avoid the sour smell.

The hotel simple is not worth the money. Spa and amenities are ok but the room was horrible. We had a room on the last floor so, apparently, it had sloped ceiling. We had a sofa in addition to queen bed so It was not possible to walk to the balcony without bending over which was not super exciting for a person with bad back. Also, we were constantly hitting our heads on it. They tried to trim it with soft material (I guess they realized it was a problem) but it was still unpleasant. Check in was also super late so we super exhausted when we got to the room.

Great location right across the street from the bus stop and a 10-15 minute walk from town center. Front staff is friendly but understaffed. Loved the sauna and hammam! The downside is the rooms are REALLY dark, no washcloths, and no microwave. Overall good but not great!

We loved our stay here, the hotel is the perfect location if you're getting the coach from Geneva airport, it's just across the road. The main town centre, the train station, the Aguile du Midi are all a short walk away. We had a room over looking Mont Blanc and the pool area with a small balcony. The room was clean and ideal for us although we were staying here in September during a heatwave, so sleeping at night with no aircon was difficult, but we could open the balcony door and let some air in. There was not too much noise and was better than the heat. Breakfast also very good, loads of options, fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked options. We didn't have dinner in the hotel as we didn't realise we had to book and although there was room the staff advised it could be a long wait for food as there were several groups staying, so not a problem as the town is only a short walk away and there are hundreds of great places to eat. The staff in the hotel are super friendly, particularly the reception staff and the team at breakfast. They all worked very hard looking after the guests.

O hotel é maravilhoso! Bem localizado, possui uma infraestrutura fantástica. O quarto é amplo, extremamente confortável e o banheiro é muito bom. Os atendentes foram todos muito simpáticos e até tentaram me ajudar a resolver uma questão com um dos passeios que eu tinha agendado. Isso tudo sem contar a vista do quarto que era de tirar o fôlego!
O hotel é maravilhoso! Bem localizado, possui uma infraestrutura fantástica. O quarto é amplo, extremamente confortável e o banheiro é muito bom. Det var okey. Meget larm fra restaurant/bar om aftenen, ikke børnevenligt hotel. Havde værelse lige over og da der var meget varmt og ingen aircondition, blev døren til balkonen nød til at stå åben. Der var musik til kl. 23

When I booked, I paid a premium price for a property that was closing for renovations and they neglected to state that. The reception areas etc are ok but the room was super dark / like one had to put on their hiking headlamp to see , carpet nasty, and shower wasn’t good .

Vi havde et værelse ud til vejen mod busstationen, og der var meget larm derfra. Der var ingen vinduer der kunne åbnes, kun en altandør. Og ingen aircondition, så man var nødt til at holde døren åben. Der står på hotels.com at værelserne var lydisolerede, hvilket slet ikke er tilfældet. Vi blev enten vækket af støj fra andre værelser eller fra bakkende lastbiler kl 5 om morgenen. Rigtig lækker morgenmad på hotellet. Og meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Pool og spa faciliteter var rigtig gode! Saunaen var godt nok ikke helt så varm som håbet.

Great hotel, comfortable rooms and beds, nice staff, and good location directly next to Chamonix Sud buss stop, so easy access to all ski transport busses. Also great to have a nice spa thats included after a long day on the slopes. We also booked the ski passes through the hotel at a discounted rate with a great lunch pack provided by the hotel so take that option if you can get it. Hotel sent a mail enquiring if we wanted such options near our arrival date.

It was a comfortable and pleasant stay. The only negative was that our room was reassigned to new guests on our last night so strangers were able to unlock our door and enter our room. This occurred during the early evening while we were in the room so the new guests could tell that it was occupied and walked out immediately. Other than this, the amenities and location were top notch.

Outstanding, the receptionist couldn’t have done enough for you , the stay was perfect with best views on Mont Blanc. 8 days I spent touring the Mont Blanc and this finished it off perfectly. The location is so safe and guaranteed the best views, spa was outstanding and food, Only fault I had was lifts were very troubled on each floor ( receptionist had to take a lift with me) but I was given a free drinks voucher for the trouble. Sauna was still out of use even though it stated a definite date it didn’t happen so disappointed with that as wanted the spa as main priority. But the receptionist made it all worth while she was outstanding ing. ( didn’t get her name but a very curly haired girl who couldn’t do enough for you ) I shall be back !

This is by far the WORST hotel I've been at. And I travel the World almost half year for over 5 decades. My third time in Chamonix and could not believe it. The "manager - consierge-cleaner" is the most rude woman I' ve ever met. Anywhere in the planet. Only if she is the owner of the hotel (who she is not) can she keep working. The only answer she knows is "no, no, no"! Whatever you dare ask her (i.e.: please provide toilette paper!). The hotel has a '80s design and seems they have not change the horrible furniture and dark brown carpet since. Tops a 2 star hotel. The only plus were the latín american barrenders and Jamie at front desk. And please, do not expect anybody yo help carry your lugagge ever, and bring your own lights because the walls are almost black and there is almost any lamps! Just in case do not Cross path with the Commander in Chief manager....I promise you'll be afraid to!

Hotel staff were nice but we asked for help ordering car service and although I confirmed 3 times, the car was not actually reserved which caused us a huge and very expensive problem the morning of our departure.

Right in the center of Chamonix and easy to get to places. Parking across the main road at a reasonable price. Lovely with a terrace in the room. Lovely breakfast. Nice pool area with sauna and daybeds. The hotel gives a lovely cabin feel.

Great location right across the street from the bus stop and a 10-15 minute walk from town center. Front staff is friendly but understaffed. Loved the sauna and hammam! The downside is the rooms are REALLY dark, no washcloths, and no microwave. Overall good but not great!

Hotel is in a great location next to the central bus station and is also walking distance to downtown Chamonix. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The hot tub, steam room, and sauna overlooking Mont Blanc was the best part of the hotel after a long day on the slopes. My only critique would be if you would like a quiet room to book a room facing the Mont Blanc side to not get noise from the bus station. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Really lovely hotel , nice cosy rooms. Bar area lovely and spa and pool lovely too. Nice to walk into Chamonix and explore , only 10 minutes by foot . Thoroughly enjoyed the stay Breakfast was lovely the only complaint is they didn’t clear the tables so had to sit on a dirty table with the last persons food and drink on every day for 3 days .

The hotel is really well placed next to Chamonix Sud bus station, to connect to Geneva airport and all the skibusses. The Spa is lovely, although another hot-tub would not go amiss. The room was quite small and not well appointed, even though we did not book the cheapest. The breakfast was wonderful overall, great choices, except for the coffee which was very poor.

Good points:- -Great location -friendly and helpful staff -pool, steam and sauna great Improvement areas -lighting in the bedroom was awful and nowhere to really hang stuff -cooked breakfast was stone cold every morning -pillows were awful Overall we enjoyed our stay but some basics were just not there - the cold breakfast each morning was a real disappointment.

We loved our stay here, the hotel is the perfect location if you're getting the coach from Geneva airport, it's just across the road. The main town centre, the train station, the Aguile du Midi are all a short walk away. We had a room over looking Mont Blanc and the pool area with a small balcony. The room was clean and ideal for us although we were staying here in September during a heatwave, so sleeping at night with no aircon was difficult, but we could open the balcony door and let some air in. There was not too much noise and was better than the heat. Breakfast also very good, loads of options, fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked options. We didn't have dinner in the hotel as we didn't realise we had to book and although there was room the staff advised it could be a long wait for food as there were several groups staying, so not a problem as the town is only a short walk away and there are hundreds of great places to eat. The staff in the hotel are super friendly, particularly the reception staff and the team at breakfast. They all worked very hard looking after the guests.

What an amazing hotel. The location is outstanding, the staff are incredible welcoming and helpful, the food is delicious, and the decor and outdoor areas are just wonderful. I came on a solo motorbike tour of Europe, but I'm already making plans to return with my other half for a few days. The only small opportunity for improvement is lighting in the rooms. There's no main light, it's just small lamps in the corners which means you can't actually see anything when packing/unpacking bags without the flashlight on your phone. I lost my motorbike key on the shag carpet and it took me 30 minutes to find it. A small small point, overshadowed by what a great hotel this is. You won't regret staying here.

Poor customer service. We extended our booking and did our best to make the room change as smooth as possible. Unfortunately, the only option the hotel could offer was for us to check out at 12:00 noon and wait until 4:00 pm before checking into the new room.

What I really didn’t like was the shameless upselling and “hostage economics” of saying “if you book breakfast now it’s 23 euro (which is quite expensive anyway” but if you book tomorrow it’s 30” I felt that I was being absolutely rinsed for every service this hotel offered. Hence the overall rating of 3 stars
