Traveled to Chamonix for some needed time in the mountains. The location is excellent. It’s right next to the lift to Aguillue du Midi and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The included breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of options. The pool area was a great way to relax after hiking. It has two steam rooms, a sauna, a cold room, and a cold plunge in addition to a swimming pool. There is no air conditioning and our room was hot in the afternoon. If you visit earlier in the summer it won’t be a problem. Also it cooled off every evening after sunset. The provided fan brought in fresh alpine air. Most importantly we could see Mont Blanc from our balcony, which will inspire future trips to the area.

Nice spa facilities, loved the hot chocolate coming from the coffee machine. Really wish it had AC as we had to leave the door open at night. Thankfully wasn’t noisy outside

Due to the Spa access times we were not allowed to go into the pool during the afternoon with our children. They’ve been very unfriendly and rude about it. On the second day of our stay we got kicked out of the pool. When talking to the staff at the reception about us being asked to leave they were completely overwhelmed and again not very friendly. Elevator was also not functioning well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for a week. The breakfast and especially the dinner (half board) were excellent. Love what they offered, free crapes, other sweets (muffins, hot apple cider, hot red wine) and 24 hrs access to sparkling water & other coffee drinks and hot chocolate. The spa was great with 2 steam rooms, sauna, ice room (we didn’t use it), swimming pool and a jacuzzi. I also enjoyed sampling different beauty products after each spa. The location is near Chamonix Villa and was convenient to walk to the bus stop ( Chamonix Sud). All staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Mattieu from Reception was really very kind, we booked half board, stunning starter and dessert but mains were disappointing for all 4 of us, lacked flavour and very overcooked, but the rooms are cosy and warm and hotel gives wonderful crepes, popcorn and coffee (free of charge) which is a lovely surprise. I do believe bathrooms are in need of an update though. Spa is lovely, would be nice to have a gym too. But I really must comment the breakfast staff, this was a top quality breakfast which I highly recommend. Overall not a bad stay but room for improvement.

Le Vendredi, Samedi, Dimanche à 17h-18h stand de glace à l’italienne gratuite, espace SPA et piscine top. Prévoir un peu à l’avance pour le parking sinon parking gratuit juste à côté de l’hôtel mais places limitées.

Really nice hotel right next to Aiguille du Midi gondola and about 5 minutes from the Main Street in Chamonix. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Also really nice that they offer complimentary coffee / tea / hot chocolate throughout the day at the lobby area and water bottle filling stations. The pool / hot tub area is really nice. Would stay again if in Chamomix.

We stayed at the Heliopic for 5 nights. Our room was on the quiet side of the hotel and had a direct view of Mont Blanc. The room was very nice and kept clean by the staff. We loved the indoor/outdoor tables on the ground floor with chilled water always available. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the Akashon restaurant was lovely with a wonderful and reasonably priced menu du jour. The location near the bus terminal and lift was so convenient, with a short walk to the shopping district.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast is great and has everything you need. There’s a coffee machine in reception that you can use 24/7. There’s also filtered water in reception so you don’t have to buy bottled water constantly. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless. The spa is also great - especially after days of running. The location is perfect. Right in the centre but there’s no noise. We will be coming back to Chamonix next year and will be booking this hotel again.

I have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Let’s start with the positives: The location is excellent—very close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which is a must if you’re visiting Chamonix. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful advice on how to plan our time in town, especially around the time-specific Aiguille du Midi reservation. They helped us book our tickets and also recommended the two-day lift pass, which I highly suggest if you’re staying for more than one day. It gives you access to all the gondolas, and it was super convenient to pay for it right at the reception. I also appreciated the cold water stations on both sides of the hotel—great for filling up your bottle before heading out for the day. The hotel has two restaurants and the breakfast had a good variety, though I wish they offered freshly made fried eggs or omelets. Now for the downsides: While the room was clean, the carpet under the bed looked old and not very well maintained. Our biggest issue was the heat—there was no air conditioning, just a fan, and during a heatwave, that really affected our sleep. When I asked, they told me none of the rooms have AC, which might be something to consider depending on the time of year you’re visiting. The spa was just okay. Unfortunately, we saw several guests walking in with their shoes on, which made the area dirty, and no staff seemed to be supervising or enforcing any rules during our visit.

Great location with easy walking to main high street. Free water/hot drink station in reception was great. Spa was nice but could be crowded with not a huge amount of seating. Nice room with balcony view even for rooms that was advertised as no view. Good food in both restaurants and reasonable prices for a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Minor negative comments. No fridge in room which you would expect for a 4* hotel. No milk sachets to make tea or coffee in room either. Lift was quite slow and seemed to have a funny smell in it constantly. Housekeeping was a bit slow as sometimes we were gone for hours and room still hadnt been made up. Breakfast ok but could be better (more fresh fruit etc not just in a fruit salad). The room was clean-ish, furniture and linens are getting well used. The location was nice, the hot drink dispenser was nice and the spa was enjoyable, although when there is a lot of people there at the same time- it’s not as enjoyable. Not much parking so having to park elsewhere was a bit of a pain

We had a wonderful view of Mont Blanc and enjoyed the location off the main tourist corridor. The bummer about the hotel is 1) lots of road noise of trying to sleep with the patio door open and night to cool off and 2) 0 airflow in the room at all, including the bathroom. A little ventilation would go a long way. 3) more lounge chair options in the pool area would be great.

Amazing stay. Stylish chalet style boutique Hotel. Very good location a few steps from streeta with bakerst, whips and cafees and just next to the Aguille Gondola. Great spa, big, varm pool (12m) nice to swim in, 2 hammams and a big sauna. Free coffeemachine in the lobby+still and sparkling just to fill up. Even a free icecream machine one day! Very good wifi in the room. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love this hotel and only rated at a four because the check in staff were extremely rude, which didn’t start to a good stay. However, the place was amazing, loved the pool/spa and the individual hotel rooms, so more than made up for the rudeness of the staff member. It is also about a minute walk from the hotel to the Aiguille du Midi Gondola. Super walkable town, especially from this location.

Too many nice things to say… - Friendly - Helpful - Great location to town and bus stop - if you are going to spend money on a nice dinner try the half board… the 2 restaurants onsite were amazing and the Breakfast Buffet was hardy and plentiful - Stored my luggage for free for 11 days and had it in my room when I returned - Coffee machine in the lobby 24/7… lattes, hot choc and more - even an umbrella on the rainy afternoon

I have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Let’s start with the positives: The location is excellent—very close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which is a must if you’re visiting Chamonix. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful advice on how to plan our time in town, especially around the time-specific Aiguille du Midi reservation. They helped us book our tickets and also recommended the two-day lift pass, which I highly suggest if you’re staying for more than one day. It gives you access to all the gondolas, and it was super convenient to pay for it right at the reception. I also appreciated the cold water stations on both sides of the hotel—great for filling up your bottle before heading out for the day. The hotel has two restaurants and the breakfast had a good variety, though I wish they offered freshly made fried eggs or omelets. Now for the downsides: While the room was clean, the carpet under the bed looked old and not very well maintained. Our biggest issue was the heat—there was no air conditioning, just a fan, and during a heatwave, that really affected our sleep. When I asked, they told me none of the rooms have AC, which might be something to consider depending on the time of year you’re visiting. The spa was just okay. Unfortunately, we saw several guests walking in with their shoes on, which made the area dirty, and no staff seemed to be supervising or enforcing any rules during our visit.

Wonderful hotel staff and very clean facility. We spent 3 days at the hotel and were treated very well by the staff. They showed interest in resolving any issues we uncounted. Shot out to Rita, one of the competent front desk managers. She exemplifies customer service and is a credit to the organization. We stayed at the Heliopic for 5 nights. Our room was on the quiet side of the hotel and had a direct view of Mont Blanc. The room was very nice and kept clean by the staff. We loved the indoor/outdoor tables on the ground floor with chilled water always available. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the Akashon restaurant was lovely with a wonderful and reasonably priced menu du jour. The location near the bus terminal and lift was so convenient, with a short walk to the shopping district.

Came here for a few days as the first leg of our family vacation. The staff was very helpful and the place was so clean. Our rooms were comfortable and clean as well. Despite being close to the gondola, the area is very quiet but has a great location. Definitely recommend this.

The spa is wonderfully relaxing after a long drive and for a while we had it all to ourselves. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The location is close to the center though that wasn’t of importance to us. The new fondue restaurant is great value and the food was very tasty as well as the wine by the glass.

Mattieu from Reception was really very kind, we booked half board, stunning starter and dessert but mains were disappointing for all 4 of us, lacked flavour and very overcooked, but the rooms are cosy and warm and hotel gives wonderful crepes, popcorn and coffee (free of charge) which is a lovely surprise. I do believe bathrooms are in need of an update though. Spa is lovely, would be nice to have a gym too. But I really must comment the breakfast staff, this was a top quality breakfast which I highly recommend. Overall not a bad stay but room for improvement.

Excellent Hotel! We stayed here before and after our 10 day TMB hike. The breakfast was delicious with many options. This location directly adjacent to Aiguille du Midi gondola is perfect. All the food and shopping are within convenient walking distance and the property itself is wonderful! The spa is spectacular and the massage is a necessity! The onsite restaurant will not disappoint! You can not go wrong here!
