The hotel is amazing. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, upscale decor. The room was so nice and comfortable. Love the hardwood floors, tall ceilings, great shower, plenty of space. The lobby had a very comfortable feel with the openness of the bar, restaurant. Couches and fire places to sit by while enjoying a drink. Places to sit outside with fire pits with view of the river. It is a historic building renewed with contemporary style. The only negative was the dinner. Bland filet, dry potatoes with almost dehydrated mushrooms for an expensive price. Scallops were over cooked, leeks tasted like they were cooked in rancid oil. They were out of the only desert that looked good to us. We loved the location of the hotel. River walks, cute shops and plenty of great food options. Loved that it is only a short drive from the cities. It felt like a hidden, smaller version of Stillwater without the crowds.Will definitely recommend and return.

Feels so big with 2 story tall windows and ceilings. Remodeled old foundry spared no expense. Nice details, huge shower. King bed and big area to sit on couch or desk. Fun night with close cocktails and firepits close to the river.

This property has a great feel and atmosphere as soon as you walk into the lobby/bar/restaurant area. The views to the river were awesome and bring able to rent an e-bike right on premises and go for a 25 mile ride was exceptional! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Five Stars all the way around! If you are hesitant to book, don’t be! Even the beds and the showers were top-notch!

This place has only been opened around 9 months. It was beautiful! Bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding. Restaurant/bar area was unique in atmosphere and decorations. The outside seating area was comfortable and relaxing. Loved the river walk directly adjoining the property. Several restaurants and quaint downtown shops easily walkable.

The stay was very pleasant! The location was very fun to explore and see the water! Only thing that wasn’t the greatest was there was blood on the comforter? We didn’t notice until the morning and myself and my wife checked to make sure we weren’t bleeding and it looked like a very old bloody stain and the shower didn’t look like it was scrubbed properly? There was some hair from the previous people other than that the hotel its self is beautiful!

The only thing I didn't like was the lighting. Not enough lighting in the main room. Otherwise, VERY big room, great beds and pillows. Bathroom was also VERY large. Big walk-in shower with plenty of hot water! Front desk person gave ideas of sights for Hastings. The walk at the Vermillion river park was very nice to see. Walk to downtown for restaurants, shopping, bars, or stay at the Confluence, and enjoy the outside river view!!

The bed was really comfortable! I think of all the times I’ve stayed in a hotel, maybe 4 times the bed was very comfortable! Love the ambiance! Had some guests that were hanging out in the hallways, and due to this being an old warehouse, it’s a little more echoing! But, we would stay here again!

The building was neat to look at, but the ambience was cold in my opinion. Our room was loud. We could hear everyone in the hallway at late hours and early hours. It was clean and pretty enough, but I wouldn't stay there again.

“The Good”- Room was very cool, well decorated. “The Bad”- Staff was so rude, from the check in experience to every staff interaction (and a vacant front desk- waited 15 mins, eventually I just left- on check out). Very poor customer service. “The Ugly”- The hotel is sooo noisy- next to the Ambulance and Fire Dept routes, strangely the room had a consistent loud mechanical “whirring” that wouldn’t go away, and they put me in a room that was right next to their event center- that I wasn’t a part of (In their room block? But I wasn’t part of their event- so thoughtless). All of the other hotel room “wings” had doors to minimize sound from the event center, but my hallway didn’t have that door so all of the partying spilled out into my hallway and in front of my room. What a noisy stay. Could barely spend any time in the room without getting a headache. Unacceptable considering the price. I would have asked for a different room but I was afraid the staff would bite my head off.

Front desk attendant was really bothered by the fact i asked to check in and that i booked through Expedia. I was very put off by this. Also, went to breakfast at the restaurant in the morning, both my eggs had hair in them. I waited 20 mins, thinking the waitress would eventually return before i went and found someone to ask for the check and let them know i wouldnt be paying for the eggs. Beatiful property, nice amenties, less than subpar staff.

This is a beautiful property and perfect for a short stay when you are looking for peace and quiet, but certainly not boring😉. Live music on the patio was a lovely surprise. The renovation of this historic building is just top notch; original elements that have been preserved maintain charm and modern decor is classy and unpretentious. The ONLY negative, and it’s a pretty big one, is the service from very obviously disgruntled servers in all parts of the property with the exception of the front desk. At the bar, as we waited for service we witnessed a loud conversation between two servers complaining about their hours, coworkers, and schedules. At the restaurant, wait staff at all three meals we had complained (to us!)about”the bosses”, being short staffed. and their own schedules. It took us by surprise, as every other part of our experience was really lovely.

It is a beautiful hotel and location. We enjoyed our stay. However our service in the restaurant was very slow on Saturday morning for breakfast. We were meeting with an old friend so it didn’t matter that we waited and visited but 15 mins to get even a glass water, and again for coffee!
