Netter Service an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksraum. Die Zimmer sind allerdings überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack. Ziemlich unmodern und in die Jahre gekommen. Teppichboden finde ich persönlich immer recht gruselig in Hotelzimmern aber das mag Geschmacksache sein. Für 1-2 Nächte ok aber mehr auch nicht. Vor dem Hotel ist ein großer Parkplatz mit ausreichend Stellplätzen.

Netter Service an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksraum. Die Zimmer sind allerdings überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack. Ziemlich unmodern und in die Jahre gekommen. Teppichboden finde ich persönlich immer recht gruselig in Hotelzimmern aber das mag Geschmacksache sein. Für 1-2 Nächte ok aber mehr auch nicht. Liegt halt ca. 20 min. zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum. Aber dafür mit Anbindung an die Autobahn, wäre da nicht gerade eine Großbaustelle und somit die Zufahrt gesperrt. Man muss den Hotelparkplatz nehmen, da drum herum nur Anwohnerparken ist. Personal super nett. Swimmingpool war das Highlight für unseren Sohn.

Comfortable, convenient hotel, what I would expect for this brand. We didn't take breakfast because this was an extra 23 EUR each. Parking was an extra 13 EUR. Easy walk into Aachen for dinner.

Un hôtel agréable et une chambre spacieuse. La literie est très confortable et la salle de bain pratique. L'accès à la piscine extérieure a été vraiment un plus pendant la canicule, ainsi que la terrasse avec des espaces prévus pour profiter du parc. Adultes comme enfants étaient heureux de profiter de cette commodité. Le restaurant au sein de l'hôtel propose une carte restreinte ; les plats sont bons et les prix raisonnables.

Pour un 4 étoiles la chambre et la salle de bain très petit et pas moderne ( pas de prise USB,colonne douche basique porte savon cassé) pas de produits de toilette comme stipulé dans l'annonce. Une petite bouteille d'eau pour deux pour tout le séjour. Le menage non fait car il fallait prévenir la veille avant 19 h ( pas au courant juste une pancarte en allemand) même le réassort ( papier toilette, mouchoirs dosette café) non fait. Pas sérieux pour ce genre d'établissement. J'ai réservé volontairement un hôtel avec piscine et oui sur la photo très belle mais rien a voir avec la réalité. Toute petite, 4 ados jouaient et remplissaient a eux seuls la piscine. Peu de transat donc aucun libre. Niveau tarif élevé pour ce genre de prestations et nombre d'étoiles à revoir

Bettwäsche zerrissen, fehlende Zudecke im 2-Bett-Zimmer, Duschseife leer, Wand schmutzig. Die Matratze war so weich und durchgelegen, dass man am Rand vom Bett gerutscht ist. Versuch der Zimmerreinigung während man noch im Badezimmer ist (normal sollte man schon warten bis die Gäste ausgecheckt haben) Alles in Allem eine ernüchternde Erfahrung.

Da wir auf Grund der Verkehrslage auf der Autobahn schon um 11.00 das Hotel erreichten, hatten wir den Eindruck, dass unsere frühe Anreise das Personal störte. Als wir dann nach 14.00 das Zimmer beziehen konnten, stellten wir fest, dass der Toilettendeckel mit menschlichen Kot beschmiert war, was wir in einem Hotel dieser Bewertung niemals erwartet hätten. Als wir vor dem zu Bett gehen, noch aus der Minibar einen Saft oder ähnlich trinken wollten, stellten wir fest, dass die Minibar vollkommen leer war. Hat man so wenig Vertrauen zum Gast? Kurzum, in dieser Umgebung haben wir uns keineswegs zu Hause gefühlt. Beim nächsten Besuch in Aachen werden wir keinesfalls wieder im Mercure wohnen.

Prima hotel. Alles was schoon genoeg. Wat we minder vonden was dat, als je wilde dat je kamer schoon gemaakt werd, je dat moest melden bij de receptie. Dit kan volgens ons wat handiger. Ze hadden een leuke wand met foto’s van honden die in het hotel waren geweest en in de hal een massagestoel. Het ontbijt was gevarieerd alleen werd het niet goed aangevuld waardoor er sommige dingen al op waren. Verder ligt het 25 min lopen van het centrum wat prima te doen is. S’nachts ook geen last van geluid oid.

Ab 20 Uhr sitzt der Sicherheitsmann am Tresen der unhöflich ist und überhaupt nicht qualifiziert. Der konnte uns nicht weiter helfen mit der Begründung er seie nur der sicherheitsmann und ich müsse mit mein Anliegen bis morgen warten. Unser Klima ging nicht und erst auf mehrmaligen Nachfragen haben wir einen Ventilator erhalten. Zudem war das Bett schmutzig und wir mussten ihm ernsthaft erklären, warum das Bett vom Personal nicht gewechselt wurde. Totale Frechheit!! Dieses Hotel kommt nicht mal Ansatzweise an 4 Sterne ran! Noch nie so ein schlechtes Hotel gesehen, totale Geldverschwendung.

Ontbijt en dinerkwaliteit beperkt en matig. In all vergane glorie en zeker geen 4 sterren meer waard. Daarom zal wel de non cancellation optie gehanteerd worden. Abosuluut geen aanrader, expedia ?

Airco didn’t work and no fridge present. Despite the description at the website. Lukas of the reception was aware and had a great idea: go away, get a refund and find another hotel. At 20.00hr with wife and kid ! Sorry Lukas, fix the airco (it was 28C!) and get a spare fridge. You’re claiming to be 4-star hotel. In your dreams !

Overall the stay was ok - the bathroom is modern - but it smells due to the lack of ventilation - the size of the bathroom is probably more for smaller people - at just under 1.90m I didn't feel very comfortable. The corridors clearly show that this hotel was built years ago - the flooring in the room could do with some renovation. The staff are friendly and the breakfast buffet is what you would expect from Mercure hotels. The car park is also fine.

Hotel was great but the air conditioning wasn’t working. For the two nights we were there we didn’t have it. The room got very stuffy even with the window open. It rained the second night so we couldn’t open it all the way. Otherwise room was very clean and staff were very nice.

The hotel is nice, very clean and the breakfast is fantastic. But the real star of this hotel is the staff. Wonderfully helpful and friendly and they were so so kind to our daughter. Airco didn’t work and no fridge present. Despite the description at the website. Lukas of the reception was aware and had a great idea: go away, get a refund and find another hotel. At 20.00hr with wife and kid ! Sorry Lukas, fix the airco (it was 28C!) and get a spare fridge. You’re claiming to be 4-star hotel. In your dreams !

Freundliche Unterstützung am Telefon kurz vor dem Finden des Hotels. Der Empfang und die Betreuung über die gesamte Zeit war sehr Herzlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, sowie das Essen im Restaurant. Angenehmes Ambiente in der Hotel-Lobby. Eine einladende Terrasse mit offenem umwachsenden Rasengrundstück. Es gab eine große Schulgruppe, die jeden Abend laut war. Das Hotelpersonal versicherte zwar, es gäbe eine strikte Nachtruhe, unternahm aber nichts. Vom Feeling her war es weniger ein Hotel, sondern eine Jugendherberge. Positiv anzumerken ist, dass der Zustand (bis auf den Duschgelspender (trotz Anmerkung wurde er nicht repariert)) und die Ausstattung einer 4-Sterne Unterkunft gerecht werden.

Ab 20 Uhr sitzt der Sicherheitsmann am Tresen der unhöflich ist und überhaupt nicht qualifiziert. Der konnte uns nicht weiter helfen mit der Begründung er seie nur der sicherheitsmann und ich müsse mit mein Anliegen bis morgen warten. Unser Klima ging nicht und erst auf mehrmaligen Nachfragen haben wir einen Ventilator erhalten. Zudem war das Bett schmutzig und wir mussten ihm ernsthaft erklären, warum das Bett vom Personal nicht gewechselt wurde. Totale Frechheit!! Dieses Hotel kommt nicht mal Ansatzweise an 4 Sterne ran! Noch nie so ein schlechtes Hotel gesehen, totale Geldverschwendung.

Liegt halt ca. 20 min. zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum. Aber dafür mit Anbindung an die Autobahn, wäre da nicht gerade eine Großbaustelle und somit die Zufahrt gesperrt. Man muss den Hotelparkplatz nehmen, da drum herum nur Anwohnerparken ist. Personal super nett. Swimmingpool war das Highlight für unseren Sohn.

Prima hotel. Alles was schoon genoeg. Wat we minder vonden was dat, als je wilde dat je kamer schoon gemaakt werd, je dat moest melden bij de receptie. Dit kan volgens ons wat handiger. Ze hadden een leuke wand met foto’s van honden die in het hotel waren geweest en in de hal een massagestoel. Het ontbijt was gevarieerd alleen werd het niet goed aangevuld waardoor er sommige dingen al op waren. Verder ligt het 25 min lopen van het centrum wat prima te doen is. S’nachts ook geen last van geluid oid.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Mercure Europaplatz Aachen. Het hotel ligt in een rustige omgeving aan de rand van de stad. Je hoort bijna geen verkeer, heel soms een ambulance. Het hotel biedt ruime parkeergelegenheid, maar ook de bushaltes zijn op loopafstand van het hotel. Zelf ben ik naar het centrum gelopen, wat een fijne wandeling van circa 25 minuten is. Onderweg kom je verschillende winkels en eetgelegenheden tegen, in het centrum is nog meer te vinden. Er zit een supermarkt op circa 10 minuten lopen van het hotel, mocht je iets nodig hebben. In het hotel zelf kun je ontbijten, al heb ik daar zelf geen gebruik van gemaakt vanwege een voedselallergie. De kamers zijn modern ingericht met hele fijne bedden, goede isolerende en verduisterende gordijnen, een hele fijne douche, ruime opbergmogelijkheden. Zelf kon ik het bureau met Nespresso apparaat en waterkoker erg waarderen! Je hebt ook een koelkast en TV op de kamer. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden om hier te overnachten.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp hier. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Das Bett war bequem. Ausreichend Kleiderbügel waren vorhanden. Obwohl unser Zimmer direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl gelegen war, haben wir uns nicht gestört gefühlt. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Empfangs- und Frühstückstücksbereich sind modern und sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl und war sehr lecker. Die Innenstadt mit all ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man in gut 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Wenn es uns mal wieder nach Aachen verschlägt, kommen wir gerne wieder hier hin.

Dem Hotel sieht man im Treppenhaus und in den Fluren von der Baustruktur her das Alter an - von außen sowieso. Eben ein französicher Plattenbau der 70ziger. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung ist dennoch schön und trendy und modern, so dass man sich wirklich wohlfühlen kann. Dazu trägt auch das Personal an der Rezeption und von Housekeeping bei. Beim Frühstück läuf es nicht so rund, da vieles an Notwendigkeiten übersehen wird. So muß der Gast seinen Tisch, wenn denn einer frei ist, oft vor dem Gang zum Buffet selbst mit Hilfe von Bedienrobotern freiräumen. Das ohnehin nicht sonderlich umfangreiche und teilweise einfache Buffet (22€) wird oft nur zögerlich aufgefüllt und weist immer Lücken auf, weil das knappe Personal zu wenig und ohne Plan kontrolliert. Kleinigkeiten, die Pfiff in das Speiseangebot bringen (Pfeffermühle, Ketchup, Senf und dergl.) sucht man vergebens. Auch ist das Platzangebot bei gut gebuchten Hotel (z.B. Busgesellschaft) nicht immer ausreichend, wenn der Zusatzraum nicht zur Verfügung steht. Die gepflegte Gartenanlage zum Innenhof ist ein Highlight, entschädigt aber nur teilweise für die beiden an einen Betriebshof erinnernden Parkplätze an den Außenseiten des Hotels - kein Baum, kein Strauch, keine Grünfläche lockert die Parkreihen auf. Wir sind als Paar mit einem Hundewelpen angereist und haben 3 Nächte dort verbracht. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war für uns perfekt und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt, vor allem weil Hunde in diesem Hotel willkommen sind. Was wir gebucht hatten, wurde auch genau so geliefert. Das Frühstück war hervorragend mit einer riesigen Auswahl an qualitativ hochwertigen und auch vielen regionalen Produkten. Für uns gibt es nichts, was man hätte besser machen können und genau deswegen kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir sind als Paar mit einem Hundewelpen angereist und haben 3 Nächte dort verbracht. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war für uns perfekt und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt, vor allem weil Hunde in diesem Hotel willkommen sind. Was wir gebucht hatten, wurde auch genau so geliefert. We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The lift was not working, and when we tried calling reception for assistance, no one answered the phone. As a result, we had to walk up to the 4th floor in 40°C heat, which was extremely difficult and uncomfortable. What made the experience even worse was the lack of help from the staff. When we asked for assistance or information, they were unfriendly and unhelpful. We expected much better customer service, especially in a situation like this. Overall, the poor communication, lack of assistance, and unfriendly attitude of the staff made our stay very unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
