The hot tub was a great experience, small but enough for us. Unfortt, the timer was broken so hard to measure the 15 mins and encourage people to take turns. The parking is very limited, specially for big vehicles. I would encourage them to not allow cars in the back alley when they can fit underground, otherwise trucks get out of space during the peak of the season. Our room was clean, but the first night we had only 2 towels for 4 people. As there is no reception, it was too painful to call in the middle of the night to the next door hotel for help. Second night everything was resolved. Location is not great in winter, as you have to walk many blocks to the town center and if it's below 0 it's not funny. Parking in the town center is also very very very limited so not really an option. Staff was great, super friendly!!

Hotels should notify guests of issues prior to arriving. The underground parking at the property was closed for maintenance and we were offered underground at the hotel next door but had to walk outside to access our hotel. We were not told or notified the Hot Tub was not operational at our hotel. I purposely booked this hotel because a few other properties in the area mentioned their hot tub was closed for maintenance. Not the Red Carpet Inn. We weren’t notified at all. Only found out with a sign posted in our elevator that the hot tub wasn’t operational. A hotel has a responsibility to notify guests prior to arriving of these issues and nothing was mentioned on the website or on Expedia.

Room was nice for the cost, and parking was readily available. However, there was no front desk staff in the hotel so you have to go next door to talk to reception (weird). Also, the heater in the room did not work and the only ice machine we could find was broken. The doors into the hotel were not secured, even the second floor door, and with no hotel staff in the hotel that seemed potentially unsafe.

Had to check in at the hotel next to the Red Carpet Inn, so that took a little extra time. Parking is limited and we had a fairly noisy person above us in the evening. Otherwise, everything was very clean, the room was spacious and overall we were happy with everything.

Overall it was fine, when we arrived and were unaware that we had to check in next door. We were told to park under ground and were stuck there as the door would not open for us. We had to reverse and go next door and let them know the door wouldn't open. Now the weather was great so that wasn't the issue. Our room wasn't fully cleaned as I noticed some hair on the floor in our bathroom.

Parking is limited and very tight for larger vehicles, typical for Banff though. Hotel is showing its age and room cleaniness could be improved. Carpets and walls in the room had some brown stains. The top side of the bathroom sink cabinet doors was yellow... also, the hot tub could of used some cleaning.

Even the TV signal was intermittent No wardrobe Positives: Spotlessly clean. Great location. Free parking. Jolee on check in was very helpful with local info and restaurants.

Location is excellent. Room is spacious. Water pressure was amazing. My only complaint - NO CLOSET, and only 2 awkwardly placed hooks on the wall. There is plenty on wall space to add hooks.

This place is a bit dated but we stayed in a superior room which was renovated, beds were comfortable, room was clean and balcony convenient. I would stay again as it is within walking distance to all shopping and restaurants in Banff.

Room was clean, however dated. Beds were extremely comfortable. Downsides were, room was smokin hot. No heat on, and cool outside. Turning the air on made things worse, as it sounded like a freight train in the room. Had to sleep with patio door open to cool off, then it was cold. Nicely updated room, we were on the top floor and it had beautiful vaulted ceilings which made the room feel extra spacious! Very clean, comfy bed, and quiet location. It’s a bit further down Banff Ave from the super busy core, which made it quiet, and parking was easy! Still very walkable and accessible to everything you need. We travelled with our dog and they provided treats and a little toy for him!

There was no closet in the room, which was quite inconvenient. The vanity was located in the main room instead of the bathroom, which felt unusual and lacked privacy. Check-in had to be completed in a different building. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and made it difficult to sleep. Considering these issues, the price for one night felt unreasonably high for the quality of the accommodation.

Staff is nice. Rooms were kept clean. It’s an excellent location to everything. And the 3 day transit card is nice. Allows u to get to the other place a bit further out (gondola, lake Louise, Canmore, etc). Will be staying there again.

Excellent customer service at the front desk, great communication, very spacious rooms, excellent condition and very comfortable beds. The housekeeping staff were super friendly, helpful and did a wonderful job each day refreshing the room. We throughly enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is fine. Pluses: friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. Location was fantastic- in easy walking distance to everything. Rooms were clean and the area was calming and quiet. Very easy to walk to Banff area where all the shops and restaurants are. Easy check in and friendly staff.

We had a balcony and it was the most beautiful sight to wake up to. Was only a 10 minute walk from the transit hub to take you to lake Louise. Quiet. Pleasant location for the adults and those who want to be away from traffic. No breakfast. Complimentary passes for public transit was a nice surprise received at check-in.

Bra beliggenhet. Gangavstand til alt. Litt slitent hotell, men gode store rom. Aircondition støyer veldig, og det var varmt på rommet da vi var der. Ingen frokost, men mange muligheter i nærheten. Prisen er for høy i forhold til hva man får, syntes vi.

Clean hotel that does the job. We spent most of our time out exploring, so only really used the hotel to sleep and shower. The front desk was helpful. We had an issue with our toilet and maintenance attended straight away to fix it. At times, our key cards didn’t work, so we got locked out of the hot tub and our room. The cleaners were available and helped with this which was appreciated. The elevator and parking were efficient. It was within walking distance of town, only a 5 minute walk to Elk Transit. At night, the street noise was quite loud, we could hear all conversations and cars. Once asleep, it was fine. The air conditioner was also quite loud. On our last night, we did find someone roaming the halls and rummaging through towels and other things. Whilst they weren’t aggressive or harmful, it was quite an uncomfortable experience. It would be great if all entrance points to the hotel required key cards for entry to avoid this in future. Overall, a good hotel for the price, one of the cheapest that we found. Cleanliness and renovated bathrooms were of a high standard. Nice and clean. Microwave and fridge access helped us keep food costs down. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again.
