Abba Rambla Hotel

The Abba Rambla is located in the Cuidad Vella neighborhood, which is lively and diverse and has a large courtyard/plaza across the street. The hotel space was clean. However, the room was quite small for the price that we paid. I was expecting more space and more updated design for the price. The hotel staff was kind and helpful including offering restaurant recommendations and a city map. The breakfast add-on was convenient since we had to catch an early morning train and many of the area businesses do not open until 10am or later. The quality and selection of the breakfast was good.

Great location on a small park with a handful of eateries nearby. Bedding was fine, room & WC big by European standards. Windows were great so no outside noise although the hallway noise echoed. Staff were really helfpful and nice. We lost track of the time JUST got back at noon check out time, they accommodated us needing an extra 20 minutes to pack. Free luggage storage. Didn't do the breakfast buffet but it looked nice. Very convenient to everything! If you want a great meal, try Kabul down the same street. LOVELY food, great value, nice people. Cheap wine/beer for a pause? 100 Mondatios across the park. BUT Barcelona is FULL of amazing eateries so we used these because we were dead tired end of day!

5 min gang fra Ramblaen. Området minder mest om Nørrebro - knap så spansk, men hyggeligt. Lige ud til en plads med masser af spisesteder og grønthandlere. Hotellet har gode værelser, måske med lugten af lidt for meget rengøringsprodukt. Badeværelset var med badekar, hårtørrer, ekstra tandbørster og andet toilet grej. Mini køleskab og pengeskab. Hotellet fejler absolut intet.

Väldigt varmt på rummet trots 14gr ute. AC spydde ur sig hetluft. Väldigt dyrt vatten i minibaren. Framgick inte tydligt att det kostade pengar.

Issues with room safe, staff could not get working, Air conditioning was not the best, struggled to keep room cool. Location was great, not far from many sites, food and transport

Snabb och bra incheckning. Trevlig lobby med kaffe o godis. Sängen jättehård. Toa och dusch lite trångt, men produkter ingick. Minibar och TV bra. Området närmast kändes lite osäkert och många poliser som gjorde ingripanden. Genomsnittlig hotellstandard men inte prisvärt.

L\'accueil du personnel etait convenable. Avant mon arrivée, j\'ai été invité à télécharger une application pour faire un pre check-in afin d\'accélérer mon check-in. J\'y ai introduit les données demandées dont l\'identité de la personne qui m\'accompagne. À mon arrivée, on a pas été capable de trouver ma réservation, et pour cause, la réservation etait passé au nom de mon accompagnatrice, alors que j\'ai réservé sur votre plate en mon nom et que sur leur application, cest bien à mon nom qu\'aparaissait la réservation. Il n\'y avait aucune prise à proximité du lit pour charger les téléphones. Les équipements etait suffisants mais la chambre est viellissante et meriterait un rafraichissement. Malgré ce qui est annoncé la chambre est très loin d\'être insonorisé. Je pouvais entre les conversations de mes voisins. La porte fermait difficilement. La télé dispose d\'un grand choix de chaîne... toutes en langue espagnole. Aucune affiche "ne pas déranger " ou faire le menage" present. La bouteille présente sur la photo de présentation, c\'est vraiment pour inciter à la réservation parce qu\'il n\'y en avait aucune trace.

Problème de porte de chambre qui ne fermait pas. Nous avons dû descendre les bagages et les remonter à chaque sortie. Le personnel est désolé mais rien ne s’arrange et pas de geste commercial.

Fin beliggenhet. Noe uteliggere og mann må passe på sine eiendeler. Vennlig og behjelpelig personal, flott frokost. Rent og pent. Uteplassen kan fikses opp noe.

The hotel itself is great...staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The property was clean and well kept. The location was in an "interesting" area as we were told by staff but after 4 nights we experienced no issues at all - just follow front desks staff suggestions. The location itself was in a central location and found we could walk to most desintations, with so many restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk.

O hotel muito bom, limpo, localização excelente, atendentes muito prestativos, quarto grande, arejado, com secador de cabelo de ótima qualidade. Não tínhamos café da manhã incluído mas o café muito bom…vale a pena! Recomendo esse hotel

**Terrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here** I recently stayed at Abba Hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was unacceptable; our room and common areas were dirty and poorly maintained. The surroundings were even worse, with trash and debris everywhere, making the area feel unsafe. Unfortunately, my husband was robbed right outside the hotel (a guy pulled his necklaces from his neck), which added to our distress and ruined our stay. The management seemed indifferent to our concerns and provided no assistance or support. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value your safety and cleanliness.

Sejour tres agréable, chambre tres propre et bien organisée, moderne. Tous les personnels ont été agréables et efficaces, mention particulière pour Sergi qui nous a accueillis pour son amabilité et sa capacité à parler français. 2 petits regrets - nous n'avons pas trouvé de chaine TV en français - le prix du petit déjeuner (14€) nous a semblé cher ; 10-11 € serait plus adapté. L'hotel est bien situé pour visiter la ville, arret de bus devant la porte mais le quartier est très populaire.

Rummet var i gott skick. Personalen var trevlig. Men, nyckelkortet tappade kontakt och behövde ominstalleras minst en gång per dag. Jag älskade området, vi bodde i riktiga Barcelona, våra spanska vänner sa att det inte var det bästa området - lite rufft kvarter. Frukosten var supergod. Städningen var toppen.

The receptionist was very nice, the hotel as well. Although the room was a bit small. But I knew what it was from the pictures, they are clear. The beds were comfy and the bathroom nice. It’s in El Raval, dodgy area a little bit but if you’re street smart you’ll be fine. You can walk in the centre from there so the location is good.

Not the best experience to be honest. Hotel location was good. Close to La Rambla and all major attractions and easy to find. However the comfort was not great. Noisy room, uncomfortable mattress, no hot water one morning, very squeaky bed (and i mean everytime you move). Hard to say why but we didn't have single night where we slept well. Just one of those where it should be good but for reasons hard to explain wasn't.

Negativt: Fick ett rum mittemot hissen, vilket gjorde att man hörde hissen gå upp och ner. Dålig isolering. Ingen trevlig utsikt. Inga eluttag bredvid sängen. Positivt: Dem som jobbade i receptionen var jätte trevliga. Bra A/C på rummet. Stor säng.

I feel extremely ripped off by this hotel. When we booked the hotel through hotels.com the rate was supposed to be just over 100 dollars with the discount applied through the website. The baseline rate it said was $125 a night, before the hotels.com discount. But they didn’t charge us when we booked, instead the front desk charged us over $600 dollars for our four nights when we got there. I suspect they thought they could rip us off with no complaints since we are American tourists. I don’t like to complain or make a fuss while I’m still on vacation btw. Had the stay been pleasant, I wouldn’t be taking the time to write this negative review now. The room was fine, adequate enough, but not worth the rate they ended up charging, which again is not what we were told online. My main complaint, other than overcharging us, is that our room for 2 nights did not have working AC during an extremely hot week in Barcelona during a heat wave in Europe, and they did nothing to discount us other than comp us one breakfast, which by the way was not good at all. It turned out that the AC had not been working for many rooms the first night. By the second night, they had fixed it for all rooms except ours and a hotel staff member came to investigate and could do nothing. He just offered us an available room with working AC with an out of order bathroom (gross). We stuck it out and finally changed rooms before the third night. My GF asked them to comp a night for us, but they wouldn’t do it.

Stayed for four nights. 2 adults and one kid 9 years old. Positive: Centrally based Good cleaningservice Good breakfast Free candy in the lobby Ok size room Ok bathroom Negative: -Worn out room -Very loudy room, we could easily hear what the neighbors said All in all: Ok value for money, but not more than that. My wife would give it 3. But it’s my phone, and I liked the breakfast. So 4 it is.

The rooms were very hot. The breakfast was good. Room condition was decent, nothing spectacular. The area was a little bit rough. But within walking distance to city center.

Great hotel with excellent helpful staff. Lovely room, great breakfast, and easy location to explore the city.

Hallo, Das Hotel befindet sich in eine Lage wo alles gleich zu finden ist. Die Plaza Catalunia ist in wenige Minuten zufüß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sauber und soweit gut eingerichtet. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück hatten wir alles was man braucht. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen. Danke

Ótima localização, com fácil acesso a estação Sants Barceló: com disposição, dá pra ir a pé (fiz o caminho tranquilamente - com bagagem de mão). Bom comércio e restaurantes na praça em frente e por toda a região. Instalações boas e novas. Quarto com bom tamanho, ótima cama e um banheiro novo, limpo e bem equipado. Recepção e colaboradores atenciosos e agradáveis. Voltaria a me hospedar tranquilamente.

Très très bien situé près des restaurants, des épiceries, cafés et des principales attractions de Barcelone! Tout se fait à pied très facilement et aussi près de station de métro!

The hotel room was very well appointed, and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful since this was our 1st time visiting Barcelona. We were provided with a map of the area detailing top places to visit. Although we were very pleased with the hotel, we did not feel safe to venture out during the evening in this neighborhood. For safety reasons, we would not recommend this hotel for families.

Un hotel perfecto para estar en familia, un servicio excelente, sin embargo, el ambiente una vez fuera del hotel no acompaña. Una lástima que la zona esté tan deteriorada. De puertas para adentro perfecto, de puertas para afuera, un desastre!

Struttura ben curata, camera e bagno molto puliti e personale gentilissimo, hotel a due passi dalla Rambla... Ottimo soggiorno!

The hotel room was extremely clean, comfortable and the hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location of the hotel (El Raval) was not particularly nice - lots of homeless people and drug users nearby. I did not feel safe walking around the area with my wife and son. We were warned by a taxi driver and also the hotel staff of pickpockets and muggings outside the hotel. This was our third time visiting Barcelona and have never felt unsafe previously.

Das Hotel ist OK für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich.👍 Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr reichhaltige u.schmackhafte Frühstück! Das Hotel ist ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß von der Rambla entfernt. Restaurants und Kebab Imbisse sind reichlich im Umfeld vorhanden.
