The room has no air condition as it only runs heating. It should be both coz people have different perspective on temperature. The room was warm and let the windows open but it could be better with the air condition. The pool was closed??? Why because its winter, it could also be a good idea to open it coz sime people would love to swim even on winter time. Staffs are great. Thank you

Lots of issues with room keys and elevator keys. Had to be escorted to my room by security with a master key for a day as keys not working - very inconvenient. Once that issue was sorted, key still did not operate lifts, so lots of guests had to keep getting someone from reception to walk them over to the lifts and operate them. Also, had thought there was a business centre here, but when I asked at reception they said no.

Dejligt hotel, lækker pool, baren ved poolen var kun nogenlunde, og kunne i flere dage ikke kave espresso (då desværre ingen espresso martini ved poolen 😡). Baren i lobbyen var tilsvarende bedre, ig kunne levere det meste. Deres værelses kort var en dårlig oplevelse, vi måtte flere gange hver dag forbi receptionen for at få genopdrisket kortet, det var temmelig irriterende

The bathroom had mold growing on the shower floor (did not drain) and ceiling. The sink did not drain. The mattress was incredibly hard. It’s a shame because I really wanted to like the hotel, the staff was nice, restaurants convenient, but the facilities are poorly maintained.

Great hotel and location but for me a big issue with heating/AC in room. Hotel has set the heating in all rooms to same temperature which you cannot change. Set to 'hot' in winter and the reading was 26 on thermostat in room. No way to cool room down. Suggestion from hotel was to open windows which given hotel is on a very busy road makes it very noisy in the room and hard to sleep. My issue is not that hotel is on a busy road - we knew that and it is a great location - just did not expect to have window open all night in December to try to get comfortable temperature in room. In summer we were told temperature is set to 'cold' in all rooms so watch out as you will not be able to change it if you don't like the temperature in the room. Cannot recommend as temperature in rooms too uncomfortable.

Das Hotel ist die ideale Wahl für einen Silvesteraufenthalt in Barcelona. Direkt am Plaça d'Espanya gelegen, dem zentralen Ort der Feierlichkeiten mit beeindruckendem Feuerwerk, bietet es eine unschlagbare Lage. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Hotelterrasse, von der aus man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Feuerwerk genießen kann. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sind lobenswert. Allerdings war die Raumtemperatur in unserem Zimmer Nr618 mit konstanten 26,5 Grad unangenehm hoch, was den Schlafkomfort sehr beeinträchtigte. Auf Nachfrage erklärte die Rezeption, dass die Klimaanlage im Winter ausgeschaltet sei, was enttäuschend war. Trotz dieses Mankos ist Barcelona und insbesondere dieses Hotel für einen Silvesteraufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Die zentrale Lage und die Möglichkeit, das Feuerwerk vom Hotel aus zu erleben, machen es zu einer erstklassigen Wahl für Feiernde.

The refurbished rooms are very nice, and this has been one of the very few hotels I've been at where 1. They have soundproof rooms 2. The rooms are actually soundproof. You can barely hear noises on the street and the music in the corridors. On the negative side, why would you have club music in the corridors? Are you going for a Las Vegas feel? Also, the keys almost never work, the Chromecast on the TV doesn't work (the technician didn't fix it in 3 days), elevators are on the weird side too. Hopefully they will be part of the refurbishment.

I was robbed my bag from Roof top pool by either staff member who took the towels at 6:30 pm or a guest. Hotel after 3 requests and filing a police report. Refused to allow me to watch the video and supposedly did not want to check. Lost a pssport 2 credit cards which robber used nearby the hotel, and my T.I.E card. Staff was total in helpful and offered nothing but anger to me.

The hotel manager was wonderful. He helped me with a mistake i made for our room. I booked the wrong day due to time zone change and he made an exception to help me from being double charged. I truly appreciated his accomodation. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Hola, queremos presentar una queja formal contra el hotel tras el incidente que nos ocurrió el 18 de agosto (14h45) al hacer el check-out. A mi hermana le robaron su bolso Louis Vuitton, comprado en Barcelona por 2300 euros (con ticket), y objetos de valor por valor de 250 euros dentro del hotel. El ladrón fue grabado en cámara y creemos que se debe a la falta de seguridad en el hotel. Es grave que nos robaran dentro cuando las entradas y salidas no están controladas en absoluto, los clientes reciben amenazas sinceras y algo más grave podría ocurrirle a cualquiera en este hotel. Exigimos el reembolso inmediato del importe perdido por el hotel, ya que el incidente ocurrió en el interior, con las entradas y salidas descuidadas. El ladrón entró por la puerta principal y salió por la trasera sin que nadie se diera cuenta. Fui yo quien le recomendó el hotel a mi hermana y me siento muy culpable por haberlo hecho. Nos gustó mucho el hotel y tenemos la intención de volver y recomendarlo a otros, ya que el servicio es excelente, pero la seguridad debe revisarse. Solicitamos, por favor, una rápida respuesta a nuestra solicitud.

É um bom hotel. Considero importante estar ciente que ele é enorme com mais de 300 quartos e extremamente comercial, logo a individualidade passa longe em comparação com os hotéis boutiques (checkin antes ou pouco depois não foi possível!). Ambientes agradáveis, mas sempre cheios (agosto!). Não é perto dos pontos principais, mas locomoção fácil com ponto de táxi em frente (metrô e bus tbm para quem usa!). Mas , dificilmente algum hotel estará perto de tudo pq as atrações são “espalhadas!”. Perto de comércio, restaurantes , shopping …. Café da manhã por 25 euros. Optamos comer nas padarias ao redor - ótimos menus por 8euros. Apesar da localização em local movimentado, muito silencioso… inclusive de ruídos internos (outros quartos!)

Property was good. Staff was helpful. We forgot our converter and they loaned one to us so we could charge our 110v devices, which was nice. Great walkable location and plenty of eateries nearby. The main drawback was the road construction happening all around the plaza. Once construction is completed, it should be fine.

Stayed at the Catalonia while in town for a tradeshow at the Fira Grand Via. Hotel is perfectly located right above the Plaza Espana metro stop, making for an easy morning commute to the show, and easy evening travel to the rest of Barcelona for meals & entertainment. It also has a great lobby bar and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Price is a little high, as are all hotels in Barcelona are during tradeshow time, but the location and quality of the hotel make it worth it.

ça semble luxueux, avec l'omelette à la demande au petit déjeuner, la terrasse en roof top avec piscine. Il faut attendre longtemps au buffet pour avoir l'omelette, la file masque tout le reste avant, ou en gène l'accès. Ayant un train à 9h30, je me suis présentée à 7h, j'ai dû attendre 15 mn que tous les clients soient validés pour avoir accès au buffet avec le même temps d'attente. Le buffet est handi accessible, à condition de passer par l’extérieur. L'eau de la piscine sent mauvais. On le sent depuis le bar. Un soir, j'ai pris une boisson au bar de la piscine, et fait porté la boisson sur la note de ma chambre. The staff are a credit to this hotel. They go above and beyond to help. The only think that could be improved is the meal choice for half board guests. It does not cater for vegetarian or vegan guests. However, the staff went out of their way to ensure that I ate every evening xx

We had a really nice stay - but some of the personal in the reception need to more serviceminded as it looks and feel like you are in their way.. almost rolling eyes when asking about something. Best service at breakfast and the nr. 1 at this hotel is absolutely your restaurant Kurai. Best food ever and best service ever - would visits this again and recommend this for friends.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall, and the staff were generally friendly and welcoming. The location was really good and made it easy for us to get around Barcelona. However, there were a few things that unfortunately affected our experience. In our bathroom, some of the mouldings were coming loose, and the toilet kept running with water for quite a while after every flush. We also noticed a noticeable sewage smell in the room several times during our stay. The pool area was very crowded, and on one occasion we waited almost half an hour for our drinks to arrive. We also found the signage in the lobby a little unclear, as it was not immediately obvious where facilities such as the pool area and fitness centre were located. We were staying at the hotel for our honeymoon and had contacted the hotel in advance to ask if they could do something small and thoughtful to make the occasion a little more special. We were told that this had been noted, so we were naturally looking forward to a small personal touch. Unfortunately, there was nothing to mark the occasion, and it was a little disappointing, especially as we had specifically mentioned that it was our honeymoon. Overall, the hotel has a great location and friendly staff, but we expected a little more attention to detail and, in particular, a bit more effort regarding our special occasion.
