Excellent location. Clean room. Disappointed that there is neither a bar, nor an on site tapas bar. There is one close by, but was hoping to not have to leave hotel to have a nightly cocktail. Haven’t had a bar since the pandemic.

Location is in the gothic quarter which is great. Bed was comfortable. It was a squeaky frame if you rolled. Our room had a funny almost mould like smell in the bathroom. Front desk people were absolutely lovely. No laundry facilities - only a paid washing service.

Hotel Suizo was in great location with metro at the door and very walkable to restaurants and stores. Hotel itself was outdated and our room was very small. Safe in room had no key and had to ask for lock at reception which this should be automatically there. Room was available when we arrived but in order to get key we had to pay additional $15 euros which I thought was a rip off or option to wait to 3 check in time. Never had to pay extra if room available before check in time. Room was a disappointment for the amount we paid. Breakfast was totally worth the money as over my expectations.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is perfect, just away from the touristy bit but right in the middle of the old town, near the cathedral and 10metres from Jaume metro station. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to La Rambla and the beach. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel very clean and tidy and our room was ideal for our stay. We had the €14 breakfast a couple of times and it was really nice and good value. We highly recommend this hotel, the only negatives were there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and no bar that we saw. There was some heavy construction work outside the entrance during our visit but when completed there will be a really pedestrian square outside.

Great location. You can not find better location than this in Gothic Quarter. Subway station is just in front of the hotel and there are lots of shopping and dining locations around. Area is not quiet because it is a touristy area. So we had noises from street until 1 AM every night. Staff are very polite and friendly. They help and answer questions kindly also have luggage storage option which is very good. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options to choose. Our room was newly renovated and very clean. The only thing that I can recommend to management for the improvement is to put coffee maker machines and water bottles in the room. Thank you to the hotel staff for the good experience that they made for us.

The hotel is in a great place and walkable to so many places including laundry facilities. The best gelato place in the street below. However, the room is tiny which is doable but the bathroom shower door was broken. Floor felt a little dirty too. Why do European hotels not have washcloths? Makes no sense.

The location is excellent. The metro is right outside the front door and busses right on the street in front, that we used a lot. The room was quite nice and clean, except for the shower that was a bit gross with black on the caulking and grout, needing a proper scrub. The breakfast was excellent and the staff always polite and helpful. The problem was with the air conditioning. We complained twice and they supposedly fixed it twice but it was just too warm in the room. They gave us a fan which helped us sleep, but unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again in the summer.

Excellent location, right next to a metro stop and centrally located a stone’s throw from La Rambla. The downside was there was a church nearby whose bell struck very loudly every 15 minutes which meant (being on the 5th floor) we could hear it very clearly even through ear plugs! The skylight blinds weren’t operating in our room but we closed them manually. The room (and hotel) was small but ideal as a pied a terre for exploring the city. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in an EXCELLENT location and it was generally clean and well-run. However, the rooms are EXTREMELY small - very similar to Club Quarters in Manhattan, Chicago, etc., with only about two feet of open space around the beds and a tiny bathroom with no counter space.

It’s very noisy 24/7. The window/door have no sounds insulation. We could hear people talking on the street like nothing covered inside my bed room. Food are very good in the morning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We are so much happy to stay there (but not the noise)

Room was clean enough…no frills here, and the room was so small! My wife and I shared a closet…tiny bed, not proper room to even store the suitcases. We came off a cruise and our inside cabin was way more spacious and roomy. Too small! The location is great though!

We couldn't have picked a better central location for our stay in Barcelona. We walked everywhere and only used a taxi once from Park Guell l because we had a reservation we had to get back for. Incredible staff!

Properly was nice and great location. My only complaint was the front desk staff should greet guests with enthusiasm and more importantly smile and greetings. I find they lacked this the two days we stayed. Going forward I would stay across the street at H10 where my sister stayed and we were greeted by the staff every time we walked in which was often. Room staff and cleanness were great as well. Thank you

The €14 for the breakfast buffet is very good value. There are a dizzying number of hot and cold items as well as on-demand coffee (via machine) that is excellent. It would replace one meal (i.e., you would not need to eat lunch if you eat at the buffet).

Excellent location; within walking distance of the catherdral, gothic quarter, la ramblas, restaurants, shops, coffee shops & patisseries. Stayed in a Triple room; we had loads of space & this was cleaned everyday. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet of a cooked breakfast, meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissants, cakes & pastries. Fruit juices, coffee & tea. Even had a small basket of gluten free bread etc. Would definitely recommend & we would stay here again due to central location.

Excellent staff! So helpful and friendly. Location was perfect, but very noisy. Church bells ringing every half hour! But that’s the sounds of Barcelona! Would not recommend the breakfast buffet, food was cold and low quality items. Other than breakfast, this property is excellent!
