Lift not very good very slow At breakfast after an hour they kept turning the toaster off, ran out of cups, ran out of cutlery Tables slow to clear and set up for next guest Location was very good though

This is an older property but good for the money. Wait time for the elevator was bad.

Great location — less than 10 mins to the metro and La Boqueria Market, 20 mins to the port, and about 30 mins to the beach. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was included, simple but decent — just go before 10 a.m. for the best selection. We had an issue with the room safe, but maintenance arrived within 5 mins and resolved it quickly. One downside: there was no shower curtain, so water splashed out of the bathtub, leaving the floor quite wet after showers. The lifts are also a problem — only two small ones, each holding 3 people max, so waits can be long. I mostly used the stairs. Not ideal if you have lots of luggage or mobility issues. There’s a luggage room for before check-in and after check-out, but it’s not monitored and guests often don’t close it properly. Overall, a good stay for the location and service — just a few things to be aware of.

There were power cuts and we got stuck in lift. Power was on and off all morning but otherwise very nice

Mitten im Zentrum. Ideal zum immer wieder einmal zurück zum Hotel gehen... Langsamer Lift... wenn am Morgen alle den Lift benutzen möchten, längere Wartezeiten.

Hoog in het gebouw had ik een heerlijk uitzicht over geheel Barcelona. Neem de slome lift voor lief. Verrassend goed ontbijtbuffet voor deze prijs. Schoonmaak was onregelmatig.

We could not check in before 2pm like some other properties even for a fee. The balcony door to the room does not lock. I have never stayed in a hotel where the balcony door did not lock. The luggage can be dropped off to be held prior to check in but in a storage room that other people have access to. There was no one to safe guard the luggage. Other hotels have a concierge or someone to accept the luggage to hold and issue luggage receipts for pick up. We were leery about sleeping in a room with an unlocked balcony door which I did not book a room with a balcony, only with a window view. Because we did not want to leave our luggage in the unattended storage room, we waited until 2pm to check in. It was a dreadful experience. The public men’s bathroom by the lobby was filthy according to my husband. As New Yorkers, we are more careful about things. We were not expecting this experience.

Everything good except the elevator is very small n super slow .but location is superb . su

Great location. Had a room on the 8th floor with amazing views. However, there was only one working elevator when we were leaving. We had to wait 30 minutes for the elevator. We couldn’t use the stairs as we had two large suitcases.

Kamer was vies, haten en pluizen op de vloer van de badkamer. Behang los, veel verfschade, airco en wifi werkt niet. De bedden waren dramatisch. Doorgesleten hoezen van de matrassen. Je keek zo tegen de kapotte vering aan. De veren van het matras voelde je als je op het matras lag. Verouderd hotel! Ontbijt was voldoende en personeel was vriendelijk.

Great location and nice staff. The room was warm and dark. The window when opened didn’t help. There was a mildew smell and the fridge wasn’t working well. It was a short stay for us and it did the job.

Hotel centrale ma molto sporco e triste

We arrived well before check-in time at same time as many other travellers. Great greeting and we were ushered into a waiting area for a few minutes. Checkin done efficiently and allowed to store luggage until check-in time. Room was very clean with very well appointed bathroom. Friendly staff helped us with issues with the safe. Great view of the street from our room and lots of shopping and restaurants very close by. Only issue we had was the limited amount (1) of outlets in the room which was a challenge for our number of chargers. A small power bar would be a great add to the room. Breakfast was an extensive Continental with good choices of meat, dairy, and fruit. All we needed to get going. Front desk staff always ready to help with advice and tips. Would definately come again,.

Abbiamo avuto la stanza all 8 piano , con vista sulla rambla e su tutta barcellona... bellissima . Unica note spiacevole la pulizia... non ottimale. Ci siamo ritrovati 3 blatte in camera . Condizionatore efficente ... Reception ottima , gentilissimi e molto propensi nell aiutare

Excellent hotel. Polite and helpful staff, clean rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent location. Everything is within walking distance. I stayed before boarding a cruise ship, and I liked the hotel so much that after the cruise, I didn't look for another one and stayed there again.

Location is good. Close to transit. Beds were good. Breakfast was good. Lack of air con in the room was an issue for us and no vents/windows for the bathroom. We only stayed 1 night. It was clean and safe. Lack of air con for me, I wouldn’t stay here again in the summer. Winter would be fine.

We were thrilled to receive a large balcony on level 8 (we didn't expect our room to have a balcony). Was a lovely surprise. The view was superb. A very convenient location. Walking distance to gothic quarter area which was amazing. Plenty of shops and restaurants outside.

Good rooms friendly staff, great location BUT Don t get a room facing the street ( room numbers ending by 9 and 10), it is very noisy all the night: disco downstairs and a very busy street.

Elevator was broken a lot there are 9 floors. Traditional Spanish food for breakfast very good done expect American breakfast. Beds very uncomfortable worst beds I ever slept on. Shower head more of handheld. Hotel very clean staff friendly.

The property was clean, but the walls were paper thin and air conditioning wasn’t strong enough. The free breakfast was free for a reason.

I got a room 207 with no window to see outside, but to strare into a black air tunnel; that means, this room has no day light at all! The bed they offered looked like a military bed you use in emergencys and this all for the price of more than 125 € / night! This is just a bloody rip off and I will also inform the Chamber of hotel owners in Barcelona and the tourist board upon such greedy attitude! Hôtel bien situé pour visiter la section gothique de la ville. Prêt des restaurants, boutiques et bars. La chambre était correcte. Prendre note que l’hôtel est situé entre 2 bars dans une section de la rue extrêmement bruyante. Surtout le soir et la nuit où les fêtards sortent des boîtes. On entend aussi passer le métro, ça gronde dans la chambre.

Beds are terrible!! Kind of old bed’s mattresses are really bad!!

I stayed at Ramblas Barcelona Hotel last week and was extremely disappointed. The lobby appears uumimpressive, it was also dirty and poorly maintained. The check-in process was especially frustrating — only one staff member, "Victor," was handling registrations, and he was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Guests, including myself, had to wait in line for over 20 minutes, and when I politely suggested bringing in another staff member to help, Victor responded aggressively, telling me, “If you don’t like this hotel, you can get out with your luggage.” All mostly foreing guests wassurprided at his unprofessional behavior For a hotel charging over $215 per night, this kind of service is unacceptable. I strongly caution other travelers before booking.

The woman at the front desk (in the evenings) was unhelpful and rude

Tina at the counter- she's got a poor customer service. No warm smiles, no greeting. Receptionists are crucial for a business's public image, so they should be friendly and accommodating.

I like the location, as it's close to restaurants, shopping areas and close enough to the airport....we also felt pretty safe as the police station is close by. The man at the front desk who checked us in was rude and unfriendly. I told him I was going to do a survey about the hotel and his attitude, and he told me he didn't care and I was to go right ahead. I will never go back to this hotel.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Although the location is central, the rooms are very basic and some of the staff are rude.

The service level was excellent and the location was perfect with access to everything we wanted to see. When we were going on an early morning excursion they even provided a boxed breakfast for us. We would recommend this to our friends and absolutely stay there again.

I can't say enough about the staff! I had an emergent issue that required a delivery of a power wheelchair prior to my arrival and my stress level was huge! I called and spoke with Noria(spelling?) And she immediately made me feel secure in the fact that they not only would receive this very expensive chair but store it securely pending my arrival! I was so comfortable as the staff notified me the chair arrived and was locked in the office! When we arrived to the hotel we received a warm greetings and the staff delivered my wheelchair to my room and helped unbox it and get rid of the trash! I really felt so taken care of! The whole stay was comfortable in all ways! All the front desk staff were warm and friendly as well as helpful with directions and arrangements for taxis! The cleaning staff did a great job and always had a smile! I would highly recomend this hotel to all my friends and clients in the future!

The hotel is 15 minutes from the cruise terminals. The staff Victor and Leia were extremely helpful.

This hotel is very basic, but in a perfect location and offering a good breakfast. My husband and I booked a room with a lovely terrace with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the staff at the reception were unhelpful and rude. Especially when we checked in with Lisa, she was very rude and really uncooperative.

Fantastic hotel right in the centre and accessible for everything. Clean, comfortable, breakfast plentiful. fantastic balcony. Absolutely no complaints and would be happy to visit again.

Was right done in the middle of the action back the room was nice a quiet. In walking distance to a lot of excitement and even in walking distance to the cruise port shuttle.

Hotel was decent for a two night stay. Close to transportation options, the port, and right on La Ramblas. Breakfast was ok.

Great location on Las Ramblas. Easily walkable to all the main tourist sites and a 10 minute taxi ride to the cruise ports. Clean room with all the normal amenities. Didn't have breakfast because we were leaving early for the airport, but it looked good when I just grabbed a coffee. We were a family of 4 and had a quiet night's sleep. Would definitely come back.

I’m sure once las ramblas renovations have been completed this hotel will be easier to access and have beautiful views of the new street - dirty snd noisy outside right now

Great location. Would recommend a higher floor as the Metro can be heard. Lots of food options available. Breakfast was good (continental style, not hot dishes). Would stay here again

We had a terrace room so we were above the street noise and we had an incredible view (the door to the terrace was a little narrow but doable) The breakfast was really good...fresh squeezed orange juice, cheeses, meats, assortments of bread, many varieties of fruit.

They need to improve their breakfast options.

Breakfast was great, good choice of cereal, breads, meats and fruits. Hotel reception accommodated leaving luggage early. Very clean bedroom and bathroom.

Hotel muito bem localizado, poucos metros do metrô, bares e restaurantes próximos. Quarto amplo, bem limpo, excelente café da manhã com muita variedade. Ótimo atendimento. Recomendo, certamente voltaria!

Pros : Location . It is located in the central center of the center . Walking distance (up to 15 minutes) from many major attractions like museums , gothic Cathedral (not Sagrada Familia) , Plaza de Catalunia , big shopping mall , some Gaudi buildings (one of each is 1 minute walk - just behind the corner) , metro station (2 minute walk) , bus station . Price. Pretty affordable , compared to other hotels in same area Neutral : rooms are ok . nothing exceptional . Small , but clean . Cons : Noise : I , personally , dont mind , but my wife and mother are more sensitive , and they suffered from noise. Breakfast : you get EXACT same food every day , and it not very generous to begin with . cant say it worth the trouble . Most of the days we just skipped it altogether . Service : our fridge didnt work and it took 2 days to change it . The bartender refused to supply us with ice , so we had no means to cool drinks or keep any fresh food in room . (yes , you can buy ice in nearby kiosk) Location : eating near the hotel is just rip-off . Take your walk / metro ride and enjoy MUCH cheaper and richer meals . Bottom line : Good place . Strong 4 out of 5. If you dont mind noise and like to explore the city by foot - book this hotel !
