A very large property that managed to feel intimate, and could not be in a better location in the heart of the Gothic quarter in Barcelona. Air-conditioning was cold, water pressure was good, and the garden area was so lush and beautiful. Staff was nice, breakfast was good, and the clientele was most mostly American. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very convenient hotel in the Gothic Quarter right next to Las Ramblas on a pedestrian only street. The rooms were large and comfortable with good air conditioning on a very hot day. The staff was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we were all settled in (we had 7 rooms). The property itself is accessible and worked very well for the one guest who had a wheelchair. The breakfast was also very good and well laid out. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for comfort, convenience, and staff friendliness.

Hotel located in pedestrian zone so it's impossible to park a car in front of the hotel which cause very inconvenient to carry luggages in and out. You need to move all the luggages by walking from abt 5-10 mins away. The entrance of road is under repair, make it more complicated. At night time, some people talking loudly even fighting at downstairs. Old town zone makes me feel the secrity isn't good. All facilities in toilet quite old but very reasonable price.

Located in a central touristy shopping area. Hotel was clean. Courtyard was quite hot (no air flow) but it was quiet and bar made good drinks. Be aware laundry service is charged PER ARTICLE of clothing — not cheap.

Great location just steps away from the Liceu Metro stop in the heart of La Rambla. Tons of food/drink options within a minute or two walk. Checked out bikes for a few hours (no cost) although the first one was not functioning properly so needed maintenance. Also, the staff working the front desk was not attentive to us waiting to check out the bikes until another member eventually showed up (he WAS very nice and helpful) but the first guy did not make us a priority. That was my only issue. Oh, as is typical in Europe, the shower curtain did not contain the water so we had to mop up whenever we used the shower.

The breakfast was delicious and had many options, the garden area was lovely, and the rooms were nice. However, there was consistently half-eaten food left in the staircase that was not picked up for days (there was a plate of pizza that remained on one of the landings for at least three days). Overall, a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Petit Palace Boqueria. The staff was incredibly helpful with travel tips, directions, reservations, etc. The location was perfect for walking, train and bus connections. The physical hotel is a pretty building with adequate sized rooms and enough amenities.There is a good attempt made to keep this a “green” establishment.However, the hotel is in need of an overhaul. It needs a good paint job,new drapes, etc. The cleaning staff could do a better job of straightening up the rooms. That’s all it would take to make it a perfect place to stay while visiting Barcelona l.

Pros: location, extremely attentive and friendly staff, sweet bartender Cons: breakfast was stale and the fresh items like fruit were covered in flies. We ended up having to go to a restaurant to eat breakfast. The room seemed dirty and hastily put together. It reminded of what happens in when people cheaply flip a property. The airconditioner rattled nonstop. No sleep the first night. We discovered if we used it on the lowest setting we eliminated the rattle, but the room was warm. We had a quadruple room with bunk beds. All beds need better mattresses. For the price we paid, there are better options out there.

I selected this hotel as they were offering twin bed for the children ( I was trying avoiding bunk beds at all cost). I was give bunk beds anyways. Other than that it was a good stay

The room for four people was extremely small. Like there was a queen bed and two bunk beds but besides that nothing in the room. Even w Moving around the room was hard. Having said that location is excellent, staff was cooperative and most places were near.

The first room (main building room 114) I was in was very nice with all new fittings and a walk in shower but the balcony door didn’t close properly and I could hear noise outside and it difficult to sleep in (hot/AC). They move be to the out building past the garden which is not in good condition. The bath towel rail was hanging off, the shower head came off when turned on and the bath stopper came out. It’s in need of tic. The AC worked better in this room and I could sleep well until I got woken up by lots of banging from the other apartments and people entering the outbuilding. It has a nice garden and terrace. I did have to ask a few times for the room to be cleaned and all toiletries weren’t provided even though I asked a few times for some. The staff were friendly. If you want to stay near La Ramblas it’s ok but I wouldn’t book again and would recommend Gràcia, Born or L'Eixample. Barcelona is quite walkable and the metro is easy, AC’d and quick to use. I paid about €150/night in July booking 3 weeks prior

A great place for easy walking to shops and restaurants. The front staff is great; however, a little tricky to contact on the phone as often it was unanswered. Construction on the streets make it very noisy as well as the open courtyard with guests that really have no quiet time encouraged. We had to wake up at 4 am and had to listen to a huge family drinking and yelling until we had to go, leaving us is very little sleep and quiet time. The toilet had a major leak and the blow dryer, mini fridge and ac didn't function in our room.

Most if the staff was very nice, however, 3 days in a row I requested that they replace the broken blow dryer and provide a couple more hand towels and was acknowledged but nothing was done. When i finally got upset, they simply reached behind the front desk counter for a replacement blow dryer. Loved being righ at La Rambla but patio view was piles of trash. Room was very basic and the bunk bed mattresses were way to hard.

The gentleman who checked us in lied to us regarding laundry. We were leaving the hotel to go to the laundromat when he stopped and offered hotel laundry. Since we had a week's worth of laundry, that would have been very expensive so I told the gentleman that we were going to Lavaexpress, nearby. He told it was closed,out of budiness. I found an alternative laundromat, but that one was busy, so I decided to try Lava Express and sure enough it wasn't closed; it was open. Your front desk gentleman just wanted me to use the laundry services. He should not be lying to customers about availability outside of the hotel. The only other comment is our shower in room 3102 completely and totally flooded our bathroom. The design just doesn't work the water was everywhere.

The property is not a four star. Luck to get two To get to room needed to travers three sets of stairs, cross deck that was in need of repair,, broken patio stones, deck falling apart. Then take en elevator to reach floor. Room service never answered nor did front desk by house phone. No bar area nor good restaurant in-house

check in was a nightmare - they neglected to say there was construction all around the hotel and no way to drive anywhere close - and did not answer the phone when i called to get advice on how to get to them or where to park, they also did not have the room i reserved avaialbe but did make up for it by providing 2 rooms at no additonal cost...

The LOCATION is great for this hotel. It is conveniently located on a side street to Ramblan, only a few minutes walk to the market hall, Mercado de la Boqeria, and a few more minutes up to Pl. de Catalanya. Walkig distance to many great restaurants, sights and good shopping. Nice area of the city to just stroll around in and also only a short walk to the water. From the airport it is less than 20 min by taxi and you are also right by a subway station that takes you all over the city. The hotel has a nice breakfast buffet and a beautiful inner garden for drinks and snacks. Expect some noice in the night though due to the location. Thank you - We will definitely be back!

The hotel was located very close to Las Ramblas, which is a super busy street, and to the Boqueria market which is a nice market with lots of quick food and deserts options. Towards the opposite way is the Gothic quarter, which we loved for their narrow old streets and many restaurants and bars. We had an apartment which was spacious, with a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms, we enjoyed our stay there.

We found the hotel a tad difficult to get to as compared to some of the other locations we stayed on our trip - we drove a rental car and the street on which the entry is located is a bit difficult to access by car due to being on a narrow, busy road. We ended up parking at a lot down the road a little ways and walking to the entry. I think it would be easiest to access via taxi or by foot. The entry and courtyard were beautiful and check-in was a breeze - no complaints. The staff recommended a walking route to take us by some interesting sites and over to the coast, which we did: lots of tourist-y shops on the route and I didn't love the restaurant that they recommended but otherwise it was a very nice walk and a nice way to see the city. The room was nice and very clean with a large bed and a small balcony. It was a bit noisy at night - the balcony doors were not well insulted so we got a bit of street noise as well as some ambient noise from the AC unit. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options, attentive staff, and a beautiful setting. Overall I think its a very nice, hotel in a convenient location for walking and getting to see the gothic quarter of Barcelona.

Det var ett riktigt bra hotell för Barcelona, läget var fantastiskt precis vid La Ramblas, nära marknaden och det Gotiska kvarteret samt även nära hamnen så det var lätt att promenera överallt. Väldigt bra hotell med en riktigt fin innergård och trädgård, frukosten var bra med flera alternativ och personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Skulle definitivt komma tillbaka till detta hotell!
