Wonderful hotel on top of hill looking down over the sea and ships, close to La Rambla. Nice Spa and Pool, good food and drink, lovely rooms with terraces. Much nicer than the cramped hotels in the centre of town. The staff are SUPERB. We had our hire car broken into and they could not do enough to help us. Excellent excellent service from ALL the front desk staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Poolside? Yeah, water is quite chilling and the pool deck breezy. Nice place to watch the ongoing rain showers… Balcony is HUGE in our upgraded suite. Could easily host a party outside… View is amazing and privacy assured…

We loved the location on top of the hill surrounded by greenery and with beautiful views. The hotel employees from the front desk to the restaurant and maid service were all top notch and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent! The outdoor pool was lovely. Only small issue was that towels at the pool were not always readily available.

Upplevelsen fantastisk - god service - några anmärkningar avseende spa, det var en mindre pool med möjlighet till att köpa behandlingar. Inte någon egentlig spaupplevelse. Duschsektionen slarvigt byggd så dörren knappt gick att öppna. Det hade kunnat åtgärdas. Slutligen var kylskåpet avstängt när vi kom, det byttes ut men samma uppvärmda/skiktade varor verkar bara ha ställts in i den nya kylen. Men ett fint hotell överlag med svårslagen utsikt från vår terrass - och vänlig service.

I have stayed here several times and is a really nice hotel. It’s a shame that they are trying to monetise the loungers around the pool where half of them (the best ones) are reservation only and up to EUR 200 for the day. They used to all be available to hotel guests at no extra cost. The gym has been the same for the past 10 years and is quite run down, with the only weights machine not working and no air conditioning so it’s very hot from the pool. The rest of the hotel is great though and I would always come back

The convenience of a on site restaurant as well as another restaurant, Martinez's was very close by. This hotel is a distance to downtown and is located on a hill, meaning downtown is down the hill.The view is great. The pool bar staff is super!!! The front desk staff is where I had problem. From the disorganization to the snobby attitudes of some staff, left me thinking that I was bothering them when I checked in. The man at the front desk wouldn't answer a sumple question about taxis without us giving him our room number and names and checking on his computer we were quests.

The receptionists were all very kind and helpful. Even came up to our wish to get us a room with a nice view and really the view is the best part about the hotel. Room was big and clean. Interior has seen better times and needs to be renewed soon. Had a nice balcony with seats and loungers. Downside was that during our stay the indoor pool was closed even though the reception told us that we could use it. The gym was pretty small, didnt really have much machines and half of the hotel was pretty much a construction site. Also noticeable from drilling noises and sometimes water not running. I get that if you want to renew your hotel, guests have to go through these kind of things but wouldnt have paid the price if we knew that before.

Sehr schönes Hotel, aber leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die riesigen Badezimmer müssen mal sehr schön gewesen sein, wurden aber wohl nie „gewartet“ und einiges funktioniert nicht mehr (Wasserhahn locker, Spiegel angelaufen, Duschtür schließt nicht, weil Deckenspot im Weg,…). Die Sauberkeit war nur mittelmäßig und die Teppiche auf den Fluren sehr abgenutzt, ausgefranst. Alles nicht einem 5-Sterne-Hotel würdig. Die Pool-Area war super schön! Leider befindet sich die Schießsport-Anlage des Olympia-Park direkt drüber und dort wurde sehr viel „geübt“. Es knallten die Schüsse unentwegt. Die Terrasse mit Blick über Meer und Stadt war ein absoluter Traum! Das Personal dort sehr nett und das Essen gut. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt aber Preis-Leistung nicht passend

Not a true 5 Star. Pool decking area needed cleaning. Bedroom had big paint stains on walls, needs maintenance in a few areas. Balconies are looking very tired and in need of maintenance. Needs a paint front outside levels 1 and upwards only refreshed ground level. Breakfast very good and lovely eating area.

The location was very good. The staff was excellent. Great attitudes and very pleasant to deal with. Very quite area. Pleasant walk to Old Town, Gothic area and attractions, but only during the day. Homeless and drug users on the path. The hotel was dated. We rented a suite with ocean views, which was decent views. Bird feces all over deck and deck furniture. Ceiling in room looked flooded and damaged. Wood trim was sanded but not stained. Overall, I would say this is a 3 star hotel and not worth the 500 Euros we paid per night. I would not pay more than 250 Euros for a room here.

It was uncomfortable from the start. The site states airport shuttle transfer it they do not have that service. They will get you a taxi for 99 euros. I got a taxi at the airport for 30 euros. There were roaches in the room. There was a leak from the ceiling for 6 days, I was not offered any solution for 7 days. There is a foul odor. The housekeepers barged in my room on 3 occasions and I was not properly dressed. For 2 of those occasions, I had the “Do not Disturb” sign. Staff are either nice or rude, no in between. I conveyed my concerns to the director and she did nothing.

This hotel is a beautiful location. It needs a significant refresh/investment. Furniture is worn out. Many stains in lobby restaurant on chairs carpet etc. the rooms aren’t properly plumbed. Strong sewage odor when using shower or bathtub. The views are beautiful. Great location for walks runs. Easy walk to the beach and into city centre. Food is not good as well.

Good and nice stay, breakfast was super! Only we had a room that is probably not used very often. Our balcony was not really shielded, it was just next to the terrace of the bar and the balcony chairs and table were not cleaned, there was bird droppings on them. The first day our room also felt a bit damp, but after proper airing, this was completely gone by day 2. But overall a great stay, friendly staff, nice pool with beautiful garden to spend the hot day in.

Lage und Empfang super, toller Ausblick, schöner Pool, gutes Restaurant. Aber: Zimmer sehr enttäuschend, Sitzgruppe defekt und schmutzig. Wir hatten wohl da schlechteste Zimmer der Kategorie, was mit schon häufiger by Hotel.com Buchungen vorgekommen ist.

Telephone in room doesn’t work I reported it last night when I had to go to front desk to order room service which arrived 45mins later cold and I sent back. Had a water leak in the room overnight at the ac unit and had to put towels down reported this the morning but has not been fixed wallpaper and bottom of door is wet. Water runs out the coffee machine and a smell of dampness in the room

Was not impressed with the check-in staff. The room was very hot. A/C was a joke, temperature never went down. We ended up leaving the balcony window open in order to have a cool night to sleep. The only reason we choose to stay there because it was close to the cruise terminal.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find no shower gel provided in the room. Despite raising the issue with reception on four separate occasions throughout the stay, the staff were persistently unresponsive and demonstrated a concerning lack of understanding regarding basic guest needs. Requests for shower gel were repeatedly met with shampoo products, despite clear explanations and clarifications. On the final day, a staff member brought an assortment of mini toiletries to the room—again, predominantly shampoo—leaving us to manually search for a suitable item myself. There was no apology, nor any acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused. Additionally, the hotel permitted extremely loud music to play until 2:00 a.m. on our first night, which rendered sleep after a long day of travel virtually impossible. This level of noise disruption is entirely unacceptable in a hospitality setting. Overall, the experience was marred by poor communication, inadequate guest service, and a disregard for basic comfort standards. Such a shame as the hotel has so much potential, but please do everyone a favour and fire your staff and hire a new team.

The hotel was under maintenance which led to a number of issues, this included no hot water and problems with the water pressure which left toilets flushing throughout the night. The tv did not work, there was a door missing in the room from the bedroom to lounge. This was not the suite which I had booked. I paid a premium rate for a suite however this is not the room we were placed in on arrival. The hotel manager told us the hotel was fully booked and no options for a resolution. This was simply unacceptable. I found this very distressing, it was not pleasant.

Absolutely shocked! Went on a birthday weekend and was faced with rats running on the balcony, then wedding happening in the hotel and music blasting till 4am, rooms are dirty, mirrors broken, curtains torn. When complained to the hotel, was told that nothing can be done (that for the time being we have to stay in the room where there are rats on the balcony and that we just have to stay there and not sleep because of the wedding as there are no rooms). For the last night they moved us to the suite (a room 150 euros more expensive than our and gave us a bottle of cheap cava). So one completely ruined night and ther fore day as we couldn’t sleep at all. Couldn’t get breakfast that we paid for (as we were trying to get at least a few hours of sleep). (But to be honest the breakfast was as poor as it gets… no vegetables, 2 types of fruits and rubbery scrambled eggs). And the hotel didn’t bother to inform its guests that there will be a wedding, so we could decide whether we want to stay there at all. And of course the cherry on top of the cake is a rat, that according to hotel « was passing by ». This hotel is not worth even 3 stars. How it can have 5 is beyond me. And a room upgrade for one night is aparently supposed to be more than enough to cover all the « inconveniences »…. That’s what we were told by the staff! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Avoid rooms 417,418,419,420 - they have no balcony and they face the top of the window arches from the original facade. You have no view when standing. Also they have no separate bathroom - a huge bath tub is in the room next to the beds and the vanities are also not in a separate room

Wonderful hotel on top of hill looking down over the sea and ships, close to La Rambla. Nice Spa and Pool, good food and drink, lovely rooms with terraces. Much nicer than the cramped hotels in the centre of town. The staff are SUPERB. We had our hire car broken into and they could not do enough to help us. Excellent excellent service from ALL the front desk staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the location on top of the hill surrounded by greenery and with beautiful views. The hotel employees from the front desk to the restaurant and maid service were all top notch and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent! The outdoor pool was lovely. Only small issue was that towels at the pool were not always readily available.

The check-in process was very slow, which was frustrating after traveling. The balcony faced what seemed like a gun range or similar facility, with constant loud noise that made it hard to relax. I also received an immediate call at exactly 12:00 noon when checking out, with no flexibility even for a few extra minutes. On the positive side, the room was clean and spacious, the design of the hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast staff were very kind and attentive. The location is also convenient, especially being close to the cruise port.

Hotel is a great location. The general area’s lovely, the rooms are tired compared with the general area, but nice enough for a short stay. Entrance lobby & bar are super, lovely smell & great way to enter a property. View from the bar over the port is fab. However the operation of the hotel is a nightmare. Completely disorganised, reception, breakfast all a nightmare. During our stay there was a corporate pool party till 1am and the people in the next room set the fire alarm off smoking. All in all I wouldn't stay again.

El checkin fue desordenado. Al entrar nadie indicó nada y me formé, al llegar mi turno me dijeron con cierto desdén que había otros esperando sentados y que me llamarían, me senté pero entonces otros que llegaron después se formaron y los atendieron antes que a mi. Ya con molestia de mi parte reclamé pero de todos modos me hicieron esperalos, lo cual ha sido una mala experiencia. Necesitaba quedarme una noche extra, me la concedieron y quise pagar al momento pero me dijeron que lo hiciera al salir, entonces a las 10:30 pm de dicha noche extra me llamaron de recepción para que pasar a pagar, lo cual fue confuso. Es una lastima porque el resto del staff, especialmente los botones son amables, pero la recepción trabaja lenta, desordenadamente y sin amabilidad.

We loved our stay , away from a busy Barcelona , staff was great very helpful , the restaurant is very good and service is great very accommodating Only thing our last night they’re the AC broke and it was an oven in the entire hotel , barely slept , but they were apologetic but didn’t do anything in return . Again staff is great and Hotel is beautiful

Vi valgte hotellet for andet år i træk pga. den gode beliggenhed, lækre udsigt over hele Barcelona og virkelig gode poolområde. Morgenmadsbuffeten er ok. Nok ikke helt pengene værd. Værelset vi fik var slidt og med vandskade (som blev ordnet efter indcheckning). Godt med sommerfuglemyg i den store bruseniche (som kommer i et fugtigt miljø). Men ellers et rummeligt værelse med badekar og fin altan med udsigt mod haven. Du skal vælge dette lidt dyre hotel, hvis du gerne vil dase ved en meget børnevenlig pool og ha’ 15 minutters gang til Ramblaen, samt lækker udsigt. Kabelbanen går direkte til stranden 50 m fra hotellet. Det koster 20 euro pr. snude tur/retur, så en taxi er nok en del billigere. Men udsigten er fantastisk. Ved kabelbanen ligger en café hvor maden er halv pris ift. hotellet (burgeren er ikke så lækker). Værd at vide: Du får trukket 50 euro pr. overnatning ved ankomst. Dertil kommer knap 7 euro om dagen i miljøafgift. De 50 euro pr. Overnatning kan man bruge på hotellets forskellige restauranter, minibaren og i lobbyen (du får det resterende beløb sat ind på din konto efter opholdet). Et lille råd er at købe vand i det nærliggende supermarked/kiosk. Under 2 euro for 8 liter (4-5 euro for 1/2 l på hotellet), eller fyld dine flasker i vandautomaten i fitnesslokalet. Jeg anbefaler hotellet på trods af værelsets lidt slidte tilstand, da det passede fint til hvad vi skulle bruge det til ift. daseferie, shopping, pool og beliggenhed.

The property was on a hill overlooking Barcelona with beautiful views and lots of greenery. There was a cable car right behind the hotel that went down to the beach and a stunning garden with succulents just next to the property. The coffee in the room was espresso. EXCELLENT! The bath tub in the room was very luxurious. We didn't pay for the beach view but got a room with that view anyway. Bonus!

The location was very good. The staff was excellent. Great attitudes and very pleasant to deal with. Very quite area. Pleasant walk to Old Town, Gothic area and attractions, but only during the day. Homeless and drug users on the path. The hotel was dated. We rented a suite with ocean views, which was decent views. Bird feces all over deck and deck furniture. Ceiling in room looked flooded and damaged. Wood trim was sanded but not stained. Overall, I would say this is a 3 star hotel and not worth the 500 Euros we paid per night. I would not pay more than 250 Euros for a room here.

Ceiling in room looked flooded and damaged. Wood trim was sanded but not stained. Overall, I would say this is a 3 star hotel and not worth the 500 Euros we paid per night. I would not pay more than 250 Euros for a room here.

We loved the location on top of the hill surrounded by greenery and with beautiful views. The hotel employees from the front desk to the restaurant and maid service were all top notch and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent! The outdoor pool was lovely. Only small issue was that towels at the pool were not always readily available.

The check-in process was very slow, which was frustrating after traveling. The balcony faced what seemed like a gun range or similar facility, with constant loud noise that made it hard to relax. I also received an immediate call at exactly 12:00 noon when checking out, with no flexibility even for a few extra minutes. On the positive side, the room was clean and spacious, the design of the hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast staff were very kind and attentive. The location is also convenient, especially being close to the cruise port.

Vi valgte hotellet for andet år i træk pga. den gode beliggenhed, lækre udsigt over hele Barcelona og virkelig gode poolområde. Morgenmadsbuffeten er ok. Nok ikke helt pengene værd. Værelset vi fik var slidt og med vandskade (som blev ordnet efter indcheckning). Godt med sommerfuglemyg i den store bruseniche (som kommer i et fugtigt miljø). Men ellers et rummeligt værelse med badekar og fin altan med udsigt mod haven. Du skal vælge dette lidt dyre hotel, hvis du gerne vil dase ved en meget børnevenlig pool og ha’ 15 minutters gang til Ramblaen, samt lækker udsigt. Kabelbanen går direkte til stranden 50 m fra hotellet. Det koster en del mere end en taxi til stranden tur/retur. Men udsigten er fantastisk. Ved kabelbanen ligger en café hvor maden er halv pris ift. hotellet (burgeren er ikke så lækker). Værd at vide: Du får trukket et beløb pr. overnatning ved ankomst. Dertil kommer et mindre beløb om dagen i miljøafgift. Beløbetpr. Overnatning kan man bruge på hotellets forskellige restauranter, minibaren og i lobbyen (du får det resterende beløb sat ind på din konto efter opholdet). Et lille råd er at købe vand i det nærliggende supermarked/kiosk til en brøkdel af prisen for vand på hotellet eller fyld dine flasker i vandautomaten i fitnesslokalet. Excellent hotel, great staff, pool, food & drink. Perfect location for Olympic Stadium (went to see Coldplay) but also easy walk down to Ramblas (15/20 minutes). Steep walk back but manageable just take your time or use cable car.

Awesome Hotel . We loved our stay , away from a busy Barcelona , staff was great very helpful , the restaurant is very good and service is great very accommodating Only thing our last night they’re the AC broke and it was an oven in the entire hotel , barely slept , but they were apologetic but didn’t do anything in return . This hotel is a beautiful location. It needs a significant refresh/investment. Furniture is worn out. Many stains in lobby restaurant on chairs carpet etc. the rooms aren’t properly plumbed. Strong sewage odor when using shower or bathtub. The views are beautiful. Great location for walks runs. Easy walk to the beach and into city centre. Food is not good as well.

The convenience of a on site restaurant as well as another restaurant, Martinez's was very close by. This hotel is a distance to downtown and is located on a hill, meaning downtown is down the hill.The view is great. The pool bar staff is super!!! The front desk staff is where I had problem. From the disorganization to the snobby attitudes of some staff, left me thinking that I was bothering them when I checked in. The man at the front desk wouldn't answer a sumple question about taxis without us giving him our room number and names and checking on his computer we were quests.

Staff were lovely, very helpful, polite, and attentive. The hotel main reception, bar, dining room were excellent, and very clean. The rooms were lovely and all the facilities you could want - air con (a little noisy but powerful),was very good, although a little tired in places. All and all great hotel and location (about 5 mins in a taxi to La Rambla €7.50).

Good and nice stay, breakfast was super! Only we had a room that is probably not used very often. Our balcony was not really shielded, it was just next to the terrace of the bar and the balcony chairs and table were not cleaned, there was bird droppings on them. The first day our room also felt a bit damp, but after proper airing, this was completely gone by day 2. But overall a great stay, friendly staff, nice pool with beautiful garden to spend the hot day in.

Absolutely shocked! Went on a birthday weekend and was faced with rats running on the balcony, then wedding happening in the hotel and music blasting till 4am, rooms are dirty, mirrors broken, curtains torn. When complained to the hotel, was told that nothing can be done (that for the time being we have to stay in the room where there are rats on the balcony and that we just have to stay there and not sleep because of the wedding as there are no rooms). For the last night they moved us to the suite (a room 150 euros more expensive than our and gave us a bottle of cheap cava). So one completely ruined night and ther fore day as we couldn’t sleep at all. Couldn’t get breakfast that we paid for (as we were trying to get at least a few hours of sleep). (But to be honest the breakfast was as poor as it gets… no vegetables, 2 types of fruits and rubbery scrambled eggs). And the hotel didn’t bother to inform its guests that there will be a wedding, so we could decide whether we want to stay there at all. And of course the cherry on top of the cake is a rat, that according to hotel « was passing by ». This hotel is not worth even 3 stars. How it can have 5 is beyond me. And a room upgrade for one night is aparently supposed to be more than enough to cover all the « inconveniences »…. That’s what we were told by the staff! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Hotel Miramar, tolle Lage, super tolle Aussicht und besonders nettes Personal! Lediglich ein bisschen Abwechslung beim Frühstück wäre wünschenswert gewesen, alles war lecker aber nach einer Woche seht man sich nach etwas anderem.

Nice modern property but very poor service. Most staff did not speak English; TV in our room did not work and could not be fixed by technical staff. Housekeeping very poor and would prefer not to clean the room if they could get away with it. Slow response to any request. Check in slow. In short, not at all what one would expect

Room felt warmer than 20c when airconditioned. Staff in the bar & restaurant very slow. Extremely noisy hotel on a Friday night. Hôtel designed so noise travels up and can be easily heard in your room so hard to get to sleep. I had a fantastic massage. It’s a lovely location but not worth the money. Glad I only stayed for 2 nights and was going onto another hotel. Would not pay 500 Euros a night for this hotel. Maybe 250-300 max. As someone that stays in hotels 5 nights a week the I would stay somewhere else in Barcelona.

Loved this property and its location. We did not want to be in the busy part of Barcelona so it was great for us. Its location overlooks the city and sea but is still close to everything. The pool was an excellent gathering place for our group and was relaxing. We liked the property liked the propeett and it fit our needs well for a family gathering. I do think they could improve with poolside service but that’s about it.
