Nice motel with a beautiful lake and surrounds. Rooms are quite fresh from recent renovations. Beds are comfortable. EV charger is a good feature (although one of the two chargers was not working). Tennis court is nice. Location is convenient - only 1-2 mins drive from main town centre. Only downside is the thin wall as we could hear talking and kids noise from neighbouring rooms.

Well appointed resort accommodation. Spotless and comfortable lakeview room. Comfortable bedding, spacious, luxurious bathroom products. Quiet with serene surroundings on the lake. Easy commute to cafes, shops and marina. Would happily return. Highly recommend. Suggest they paint room numbers on parking spots to designate an allocated place, as spaces were competitive on Saturday night. But there were enough spots, just not near our door (it was pelting rain).

This is the only property in Batemans that has electric vehicle charging, which is the main reason for my stay. Unfortunately only one of the charging stations actually works so that was inconvenient. The rooms are clean and adequate but would be small for a family of 4.

Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was nicely renovated. Ample parking was handy. Nice dining area and bar. Pool was a looking a bit weary and gym was very basic. Tv casting software was barely usable.

Lovely get away in a great environment with great service. Its a great location as its just outside of the crazy Batemans bay busy area but also easy to enough to access when needed. Oh and the pool.is just lovely too!

The room was quite spacious but tired, there were splattered insects on the walls, the window/door didn't operate properly and didn't stop much noise from outside. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, however, they could have used some extra help as all responsibilities were left to just a few. It was New Years Eve so maybe difficult to get staff at that time of the year but the operators should not fully book the "resort" if that's the case. It's not really a resort, more like a motel with two accommodation block and a tiny ageing pool. The grounds were very nice though. The stand out for me was the quality of food in the restaurant, it was exceptionally good and again, the staff were particularly friendly and polite but run off their feet and could hardly cope. We were asked to leave the bar/restaurant building at 10pm on New Year's Eve leaving us with no other option than so go back to the room to bring in the New Year. Very odd. I wouldn't mind any of this but the property is advertised as 4 star and the pricing reflects the advertising but not the reality. I imagine it is a lot cheaper at other times of the year and so a much better experience but not for me on this occasion.

The room we stayed (#14) had a bad smell, clearly coming from the carpet. The property is quite outdated, and it could improve the cleaning by a lot. The location is good and the environment around the lake is lovely.

While the reception staffs were great, the room was slightly below the expectations. We hope the cleanliness can be improved in some occasions. Still it was a good overnight stay for us. The property itself is nice. We couldn't use all facilities due to lack of time, but we appreciated the options available.

Don’t know for the price of the room should have a breakfast included ..the room had cobwebs ..spiders inside ..nowhere to hang towels when used …didn’t even have toaster …it was suppose to executive suite …outside 2 old wooden chairs but no table to put drinks on …no shelving in the bar fridge ….had to use a esky …only positive note the view was nice …the young blonde cleaner was nice and gave has good customer service ..never again for that price or that room ..we have a disabled sticker for our car … someone who didnt have parked in the only disabled spot but with no sticker ..rang reception to complain and they did nothing ..poor customer service ..

Quiet and nice place, just do expect not comfortable beds, milk for your coffee and the cleaning is just replacing of towels and some time “making the bed”, do no expect vacuum or cleaning/replacement of the glasses in your stay.

Very average accommodation. We couldn’t have the room type we booked due to a water leakage - that’s ok, things happen. We were moved to room 16. This room smelt so bad of cigarette smoke that even my usual oblivious children noticed & commented. Asked reception to be moved which they very willingly did & apologized. Moved to room 31 which smelt way better, however the carpets were filthy stained & the upholstery looked gross! The bathroom flooded whilst showering almost spilling out the door & the drain smelt so bad. We left feeling dirty. I will say that reception staff were friendly & accommodation, and this review isn’t a reflection of them. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this accommodation based on its current state. Needs a very good clean & maintenance.

Very friendly and easy check in. Nice comfy room, but basic room facilities. The main downfall is not having any sound deadening between adjoining rooms as we could easily hear the conversations and snoring from the neighbouring room.

The property grounds are beautiful and it is a relaxing and luxurious place to stay. My only complaint is that the rooms are not sound proof. We could hear the family in the room next to us. Their conversations could be heard through the walls.

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The issue was the shower. The drain would back up as soon as the shower was turned on and very quickly The whole bathroom would flood.The water was either very cold or very hot. It was impossible to find a happy medium. The bathroom sink only had cold water.. no hot water. Reception was informed about the shower and we were told that the whole block was like that..seems management wasn't interested in fixing the issue for future guests.

The surrounding was very nice. Reception, bar and restaurant looked nice. - Room was dark, lacked ceiling lights. No plates or cutlery provided except tea cups. Expect these things in a Motel as you are travelling rather and may want to eat in the room. Hot water jug was impossible (1) to fill due to the small basin in the bathroom. Needed to use a tea cup to top it up. Not end of the world but expect more for the price we paid at this time of the season. We choose breakfast. Price was presented as $11 but turned out this was in US$ and actual price was AU$18. It was only a cold buffet, which was not advertised This is probably an Expedia issue but I ticked to be paid upon arrival but Expedia forwarded my Credit card details to the Motel and the automatically had charged us when we checked in. Would have preferred to use another card at check-in. Also question about security of iCC details as I had chosen to pay at arrival.

The room was very excellent. the house keeping staff were excellent also. The young gentleman that greeted us upon arrival had no personality. we would have received more comments from a robot. The restaurant we were advised upon arrival was closed for the 2 nights we stayed. the staff on the counter upon checkout were excellent. Customer service training needs to be given to the young guy we had upon check-in.

For such a big property it was really quiet. It has beautiful surrounds and fitted our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is the second time I have stayed here and would definitely recommend it to friends. It's just a short drive over the bridge to the City Centre and a few kilometres away from Mogo and the Zoo.

Very average accommodation. We couldn’t have the room type we booked due to a water leakage - that’s ok, things happen. We were moved to room 16. This room smelt so bad of cigarette smoke that even my usual oblivious children noticed & commented. Asked reception to be moved which they very willingly did & apologized. Moved to room 31 which smelt way better, however the carpets were filthy stained & the upholstery looked gross! The bathroom flooded whilst showering almost spilling out the door & the drain smelt so bad. We left feeling dirty. I will say that reception staff were friendly & accommodation, and this review isn’t a reflection of them. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this accommodation based on its current state. Needs a very good clean & maintenance.

Good points: - warm and friendly welcome at reception with an easy check in. - really soft comfy bedsheets and pillows. - modern bathroom with lovely hot shower - quiet room, not disturbed by any neighbouring guests. - generous size room with a desk as well as dining table. - well stocked in room fridge with really reasonably priced items. - lovely big glass of great value red wine with my dinner. Bad points: - I had to check out at 7:45am and breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, I wish it started earlier or if there was a self serve option for early departures. - While it was lovely to be able to eat dinner on site, I did feel that the food menu was a little on the expensive side. Regardless, I’d eat there again and it was nice food, just trying to put together some constructive feedback :-)

It was quiet for the majority of the time; there was some adjacent units noise during the night but great for the most part. We decided to dine in as we had had a lengthy drive. Inquired what was the best time/times and reception said early better. Booked 6.15pm and ordered main meal immediately. Waited, waited, waited….1 hour 15 minutes later…mains came…beef fillet good. fish good but lentils uncooked…no sign of wait staff…
