The staff are fantastic, incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are very well kept with a nice modern decor. The bathroom was on the small side, but perfectly fit for purpose with good pressure and temp balance in the shower. One of the comfiest hotel beds I've ever slept on! The food, both for evening meals and the buffet breakfast, are top notch, especially the breakfast with a very wide range to choose from, including a cooked-to-order menu. The "gym" is small and somewhat lacking. Lacks the thrills of some nearby hotels, but for the price it's absolutely perfect for a one-night business stay.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Breakfast was delicious and made to order!! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. There is a large car park available for those driving at no additional charge! Great stay!!

The Bailbrook is a stunning property, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are excellent, very professional and helpful. Breakfast was probably one of the best i have had in a hotel. And parking was safe, convenient and free. The hotel is about a 30minute brisk walk to the north edge of Bath, near the Royal Crescent. Or, a short drive. But traffic in to Bath is busy on this road. Walk or take the bus. Thank you Bailbrook team for a great stay. We will be back.

This was our first time at Bailbrook and it did not disappointment the whole place was spotless and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We went for our 30th wedding anniversary and the reception brought prosecco to our room for us. Breakfast had a great choice and the staff in the restaurant were very attentive. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bath,

Nice hotel, we were not in the mansion house but that was fine. Room quite dark so needed the lights on during the day. Room spotlessly clean, bed really comfortable. Staff very friendly and happy to support. Breakfast was fantastic! Amazing selection of food including cereals, fruit, smoothies, pastries, full English, menu to order including eggs Benedict. Fresh juice, Tea coffee, all unlimited. The tea / coffee and toast is brought to you by the waiting staff so this eliminated a lot of hanging about and meant there was never a queue to get food. Location around 2.2 miles from Bath City Centre - nice walk into Bath but a bit challenging on the way back. We used Uber which was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again, we wasn’t in the room long enough but if you planned on spending time in your room then I would definitely upgrade.

The experience of this hotel was excellent. The staff were attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was good, clean, and a good size. I would definitely look to stay here again should I visit Bath. Breakfast was busy, but well managed by the staff and you could ask for no more.

Breakfast was great. The bed, pillows and claimed block out curtains were not great. The curtain rod did not span the window hence light came in. Pillows were lumpy. Bed very hard.

The customer service at this hotel was exceptional. It was the best four star hotel that we have ever used in Europe. Ilie, Debra, Melina and Lee went out of their way to provide exceptional service. The hotel itself, and the grounds were amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The hospitality extended by the staff was as friendly as it was professional and absolutely deserves a special mentioning. We did not have a chance to dine at the hotel but the breakfast was wonderful. We will certainly be back when we return to Bath next.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Breakfast was delicious and made to order!! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. There is a large car park available for those driving at no additional charge! Great stay!!

Beautiful location and close to the center of Bath. Staff were very welcoming and provided extra equipment to help us with our baby. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was really tasty - both the buffet and made-to-order food. Nice fresh juice too. Would really recommend splashing out on this place - worth the money!

A beautiful hotel. Perfect for a relaxing stay and the breakfast is delicious with a good range of food. Easy bus trips into the town centre with the bus stop right outside. Would come again.

Beautiful place in a lovely setting outside of central Bath. The place is so well kept. Obviously not a new building but everything looks new. Quiet and comfortable. We would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Booked 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by an extra night. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Superb buffet breakfast with some a la carte choices. Located about 2 miles out of Bath city centre so you will need a taxi or catch a bus from the nearby bus stop if you don't drive.

We stayed for 1 night, really wished it was longer. Hotel is located a short taxi ride away from the centre of bath, which is more convenient than driving and trying to find somewhere to park. The hotel and grounds are very attractive. Our room was in the new building which is very very close to the main house. It was extremely comfortable and we even had a small bottle of milk for coffee in the fridge. There was a lot of attention to detail which i was very happy about. The staff were all fantastic receptionists, waiters and bar staff. I'm sure the maids were too but we didnt meet them. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The Bailbrook is a stunning property, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are excellent, very professional and helpful. Breakfast was probably one of the best i have had in a hotel. And parking was safe, convenient and free. The hotel is about a 30minute brisk walk to the north edge of Bath, near the Royal Crescent. Or, a short drive. But traffic in to Bath is busy on this road. Walk or take the bus. Thank you Bailbrook team for a great stay. We will be back.

The staff are fantastic, incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are very well kept with a nice modern decor. The bathroom was on the small side, but perfectly fit for purpose with good pressure and temp balance in the shower. One of the comfiest hotel beds I've ever slept on! The food, both for evening meals and the buffet breakfast, are top notch, especially the breakfast with a very wide range to choose from, including a cooked-to-order menu. The "gym" is small and somewhat lacking. Lacks the thrills of some nearby hotels, but for the price it's absolutely perfect for a one-night business stay.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and return because we like the place. The staff are friendly and the facilities are good, and the free parking is a bonus. We have noticed they have cut back in some areas with less choice of menu and shorter breakfast times which is a little disappointing. We are unhappy that a service charge is added to everything, while not begrudging paying for good service, we would like to make this choice ourselves!

I booked this hotel at very short notice in the morning after having a difficult experience at another nearby hotel the previous night, and the team here could not have been kinder or more helpful. The manager, Gem, heard what had happened and went above and beyond to help. She upgraded my room, made sure I could check in early so I could finally rest, and even helped with my laundry, which was incredibly thoughtful. Another member of staff, Elena, was also very friendly and welcoming, and offered me drinks and snacks while I waited in the lounge. The service was genuinely exceptional and made a stressful situation feel much easier. On top of that, the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Beautiful building, lovely atmosphere, and a team who clearly care about their guests. I’m very grateful to Gem, Elena, and the rest of the staff. A fantastic experience, especially given the circumstances.

The hotel appeared to suffer from under staffing. There was a coach load of tourists overnighting, who were catered for separately. As a result the individual travellers were catered for in the conservatory restaurant. A table booking made before our arrival for 07:30pm was changed to 8:15pm. Having sat down at the table just after 8:00pm our first and only course finally arrived at 9:15pm. The staff serving us were not exactly welcoming and the drinks that sustained us were gained by going to the bar and ordering there. Service was absent. Food was ok, breakfast good. Receptionists were charming
