Check in und Zimmer perfekt und prima Preis Leistungsverhältniss, sehr gut und sehr professionell. Leider war das Parken nicht gut und hat keinen Spass gemacht. Fahrzeug setzt bei Einfahrt auf, sehr enge Parkbuchten, kaum Platz für grosse Fahrzeugs und gewoehnungsbeduerftige Duplexgaragen für Kleine, für 12 Eu nicht zu empfehlen.

I thought it would be like a Hampton Inn but H4 is much better. Very comfortable. A little street noise but with windows closed, absolutely silent. Got great sleep. Underground parking- fee. A little narrow (as everywhere in Germany) but we had no problems with our somewhat large station wagon. Some spaces have mechanical racks to park 2 cars-- operated by the hotel, not customer! Overflow parking 3 minute walk away. Small supermarket across the street. Other shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Safe area. Interesting cemetery across street. The bar is open late--not sure whether they have food. Most people at Wagner Festspiele eat at the opera. Breakfast is extremely good buffet, and convenient-- 07:00 to 11:00. Festspielhaus is 2.4 km (35min by foot) but we signed up for shuttle (free), leaves H4 15:00 arrives 15:10. Returns 20 min post performance. Very convenient. Most hotel guests are German but English is spoken by hotel personnel, who are very friendly and helpful. Ein ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt! Highly recommended if you are in Bayreuth.

Es gibt zu wenig Parkplätze. Für SUV (höher als 145 cm) stehe wenig Parkplätze zur Verfügung und diese sind sehr eng. Für PkW (niedriger 145 cm) gibt es Doppelparker-Boxen auf zwei Ebenen

Vi havde valgt hotellet på vej hjem fra Italien, fordi der var parkeringskælder. Vi var heldige at få en plads, fordi vores bil var lav og kunne parkeres på en “hylde” i en elevator. Bilen blev ikke hejst hverken op eller ned, så vi kunne stadig ( med lidt besvær) komme til vores ting i bilen. Værelset var super, stor god seng, masser af plads, køleskab og funktionelt badeværelse. Vi havde læst at der var restaurant. Det viste sig at det kun var nogle få lette måltider man kunne købe i baren. Hvis vi havde været friske, var vi gået i byer, hvor der var flere restauranter at vælge imellem. Vi ville vælge dette hotel igen, hvis vi skal overnatte i området.

I have used this hotel three times (JUL2021-FEB2022) on my way home from Austria/Italy. It is a good hotel, above average. It is clean, spacious, comfortable, well located close to the city center, parking, a 4 out of 5 rating for breakfast and easy access from the highway. However, I will recommend the hotel to establish charging stations for electrical cars, that would be a benefit.

Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Hilfe beim Einparken in der sehr engen Tiefgarage. Zimmer ist für den Preis richtig gut. Groß, bequemes Bett, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher. Große Dusche. Fenster zum Öffnen.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Teppichboden im Zimmer war wegen Hausstauballergie nicht so gut. Aber ansonsten war das Zimmer und Hotel sehr gut. Tiefgarage als parkmöglichkeit war auch gut.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut - grosse, leckere Auswahl! Das Bett ist super und das Zimmer sehr groß. Allerdings ist es sehr duster. Dunkel eingerichtet und wenig Licht. Bad ist ausreichend groß, leider roch es nach Abfluss. Außerdem finde ich es schade, dass unter dem Vorwand der "Ökologie" nur alle 3 Tage gereinigt wird. Es geht doch letztendlich nur um die Kosten.

Frühstück ,sehr gute Auswahl! Sehr freundliches Personal.im ganzen Haus.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Residenzschloss Bayreuth. My room was spacious, clean and lovely and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are very polite and friendly. Wir hatten einen überraschend geplanten Kurztrip nach Bayreuth gebucht und ein Hotel in der Innenstadt gesucht. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht über dieses zentral gelegene Hotel. Die Zimmer sauber und gepflegt, das Badezimmer modern und funktional. Etwas störend war der Preis für die Parkgarage, 16 Euro die Nacht und dafür in einem Parklift in dem man nicht stehen kann und die Heckklappe nicht öffnen kann mangels Platz .

Die Zimmer sind in Größe und Ausstattung komfortabel. Die Möbel sind wohl noch neu, die Sessel und das Betthaupt haben stark gerochen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal durchweg sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße Heike Höttler

Der Frühstücksraum ist schön und das Frühstück sehr gut. Das Zimmer hat mir nicht wirklich gut gefallen. Die Luft war nicht so gut, denke, die Möbel haben da etwas ausgedünstet

Dejligt hotel i nær afstand til centrum. Stor, flot og varieret morgenbuffet. Parkeringsmulighed i kælder. En anbefaling til hoteldirektøren: inviter medarbejdere på kursus i service og kunderelationer. Vi mødte ingen smil eller interesse for vores tilstedeværelse eller for vores ophold i byen. Det er dog en servicevirksomhed!! Kun en person var venlig, og det var ved udtjekningen - tankevækkende !

Friendly staff, updated/tasteful furnishings, and decent location. It’s a little far from the Festspielhaus (if you’re there for the Wagner festival), but they run a complementary shuttle to and from the operas, along with a complementary reception (with prosecco and snacks) right beforehand, which was a nice touch.

Dejligt hotel stop på vej sydpå. God service og værelser virkelig ok. Morgenbuffet var perfekt inden rejsen videre. Specielt også positivt at det var i centrum Bayreuth, tæt på gode spisesteder.

I thought it would be like a Hampton Inn but H4 is much better. Very comfortable. A little street noise but with windows closed, absolutely silent. Got great sleep. Underground parking- fee. A little narrow (as everywhere in Germany) but we had no problems with our somewhat large station wagon. Some spaces have mechanical racks to park 2 cars-- operated by the hotel, not customer! Overflow parking 3 minute walk away. Small supermarket across the street. Other shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Safe area. Interesting cemetery across street. The bar is open late--not sure whether they have food. Most people at Wagner Festspiele eat at the opera. Breakfast is extremely good buffet, and convenient-- 07:00 to 11:00. Festspielhaus is 2.4 km (35min by foot) but we signed up for shuttle (free), leaves H4 15:00 arrives 15:10. Returns 20 min post performance. Very convenient. Most hotel guests are German but English is spoken by hotel personnel, who are very friendly and helpful. Ein ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt! Highly recommended if you are in Bayreuth.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht im Hotel. Lage war super, ruhig trotz fußläufiger Lage zur Innenstadt, was ich als sehr angenehm empfand. Sehr freundlicher Service. Einen kleinen Punktabzug gibt es fürs Frühstück. Das war kurz nach 10 Uhr schon etwas „leergefegt“, wohl wegen einer größeren Geburtstagsgesellschaft), hier hätte man noch etwas nachlegen können (Wurst z.B). Ansonsten zu empfehlen.

Gefallen hat uns die gute Lage des Hotels, in wenigen Minuten konnte man zu Fuß die Innenstadt erreichen. Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass das `Restaurant` nicht vorhanden war. Es gab kein Abendessen in dem Hotel. Und nun der Hammer! Uns wurde ein Classic - Zimmer als das gebuchte Superior - Zimmer zugewiesen! Anstatt uns mitzuteilen, dass das gebuchte Superior - Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung steht, unser Zimmerkategorie dann eventuell `up zu graten`, wurde uns das Classic -Zimmer als unsere Zimmerkategorie verkauft. Beim Auschecken wurde kalt lächelnd von der Rezeptionistin der volle Preis für das angebliche Superior - Zimmer verlangt. Diese nennen wir Betrug! Alles in Allem: - sehr schlecht - !

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Residenzschloss Bayreuth. My room was spacious, clean and lovely and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are very polite and friendly. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of food to start the day. I will certainly stay here again next time I am in Bayreuth. Thank you!

Vi havde valgt hotellet på vej hjem fra Italien, fordi der var parkeringskælder. Vi var heldige at få en plads, fordi vores bil var lav og kunne parkeres på en “hylde” i en elevator. Bilen blev ikke hejst hverken op eller ned, så vi kunne stadig ( med lidt besvær) komme til vores ting i bilen. Værelset var super, stor god seng, masser af plads, køleskab og funktionelt badeværelse. Vi havde læst at der var restaurant. Det viste sig at det kun var nogle få lette måltider man kunne købe i baren. Hvis vi havde været friske, var vi gået i byer, hvor der var flere restauranter at vælge imellem. Vi ville vælge dette hotel igen, hvis vi skal overnatte i området.
