Rural house for rent - entire property: 15th century “masía” on the Costa Brava

Tout était parfait !

We really enjoyed our break at this house. Very spacious and lots of places to relax in. Comfy sofas and beds. Nice linen. Pool great size and lovely outdoor eating area. We went to Santa markets a couple of times which has good food and fab pony rides for kids as well as good music. There are fans in most of rooms rather than air con which is in one bedroom so it was quite warm for most of us. We were not able to check in till 5 but the owner allowed us to use the pool before then which was great.

The Villa was in a good location and good beaches within easy short car journey. Pool and surrounding views were exceptional and kept all of the family very happy. Bathrooms and showers were very good. The only downside of the Villa is that all but one of the bedrooms were exceptionally hot even with the fans. This made sleeping difficult for most of the family. It is strongly suggested that the owners install air conditioning in five bedrooms (one already has air con) and the kitchen. The stay would be drastically enhanced and would then be 5 stars.

From beginning to end more than we could have hoped for. The property was perfect for us. Rustic chic. Privacy for everyone (couples and singles) and beautiful spaces of community (including a beautiful pool). Albert and Jordi were lovely, accommodating hosts. There to help whenever needed with great friendliness, warmth and knowledge of the area. We loved it. Thank you Albert and Jordi for making a “big birthday “ the perfect holiday.
