Hotel in centro facilmente raggijngibile dalla stazione anche a piedi. La posizione permette di visitare j luoghi piu' caratteristico della citta anche a piedi, ma nel prezzo della camera era compreso anche il pass per usare i mezzi pubblici (autobus e tram sono tanti e frequenti e ti portano in tante zone anche non centrali). Nelle vivinanze ci sono tanti ristoranti e locali dove mangiare (parecchie le pizzerie) anche se dall'hotel puoi accedere direttamente al loro ristorante. Camera spaziosa e comoda. Ottima colazione con vari tipi di dolce, salato con anche fiverse varieta di gormaggi, yougurt e frutta. Ogni piano ha una zona particolare: sala gioco per bimbi, sala computer, sala per caffe e tisane, palestra. Sul tetto anche terrazza Lo consiglio

Hotel was quite conveniently located- walking distance to the train station and all the main tourist sites and/or to the bus to major sites (such as the Paul Klee center). The room itself was rather small; i had trouble squeezing into the shower. The hotel had some endearing quirks such as a "play room", a place to make tea or instant coffee (there is no coffee machine or fridge in the room), a small fitness center. Most importantly for me it had a washing machine and dryer for a few CHF. The breakfast had the minimal usual offerings (rolls, coldcuts, cheeses, cereals, scrambled egss and bacon), but did have those Swiss coffee machines that makes coffee every which way. There is a restaurant with ok food attached to it on the ground floor whic was convenient on a rainy night

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and informative and made such a difference in our stay. Amenities were nice to have (laundry, coffee/tea station, breakfast even had a vegan food area, lots of seating provided, self-service locker storage area, cute rooftop terrace). They were renovating while we were there. Definitely recommend this place as it was walking distance to the rail station and main tourist sites. (Hotel was also close to town clocks so be warned you can also hear the town bells clearly if window is open).

Location in the city was perfect for dining, shopping, parking, and public transportation. The hotel has a modern feel and sitting on the rooftop patio was a relaxing place to end the day. The rate includes a traditional European breakfast so it made starting the day less complicated. The registration staff was outstanding.

Property is awkward, if your room is in the new building you have to cut through to the breakfast area. Gym doesn’t have much equipment and the saunas door is not fitted properly with a big gap in the door. No water fountain or water bottles in gym. Room was very small and opened up windows for fresh air but of course you just smell cigarettes. Very loud all night until around 2 am. Bell rings every hour and you will be awaken early early morning with loud trucks and stores unloading. Staff isn’t overly nice just basic. Would not stay again. Over priced. If it’s just for 1 night it should be fine. Breakfast was basic continental type foods.

Our 1 night stay was below average. ROOM - It looked like it was not cleaned, there were small crumbs, random hairs, some dust and stains on the floor. Bathroom does not have a fan or a window so it was unpleasant to use it after one of us had showered or used the bathroom. A/C did NOT work on a hot summer day, however, the front desk did not mention it upon check-in; after we figured out it wasn't working, we notified them and they brought us an old-fashioned room fan. TV - only channels in German, no international channels, which seems crazy given that the hotel is located in a major EU city in a very touristy area. BREAKFAST - was included with the room; it was modest and the lady who was cleaning and setting up the tables looked like she did not enjoy her job. It was super quiet, no music to set up a nice ambiance. LOCATION - Great, in Old Town within walking distance to the train station and major attractions. SERVICE - Upon check out, we were given 20 CHF to compensate us for the unpleasant experience of not having working AC in the room.

On est en Suisse, d'accord, mais l'odeur du javel et du produit sanitaire, le sol cassé partout, la machine à café remplie de l'eau mais du tout entretenue (c'était déguelasse à l'intérieur), les serviettes avec des taches non effaçable... A réfléchir avant de réserver !

The hotel is well located very closed to the train station and in the Old City Center. The breakfast was pretty good, and they have many things to choose from. The room was not that big, but it was comfortable and very clean. The service of the staff was really excellent. Thank you.

The receptionist was great, she gave us all the information we needed for our various plans. The air conditioning does not work and sleeping was very uncomfortable. The windows do open, but it is on a busy street with multiple partiers walking by and talking loudly. I would not stay here in the summer again.

We love the location! The breakfast was ok. The room is good enough, bathroom is kind of small, the AC in our room didn’t work. The layout of the property is kind of odd! Our room was located in the newer wing where we took 1 elevator up to floor 1, walked thru the breakfast room then some steps up then another elevator up another floor!!!

Very simple and clean room, which was exactly what we needed for 1 night in Bern. Bunk beds for the kids were great. Breakfast was fine. My only complaint is that the air conditioning did not work well and the room was very hot and stuffy.

This choice worked well for us. We arrived on a late train, made the easy 5minute walk to the hotel, comfortable & well-equipped room on the 2nd floor. Enjoyed a nice warm shower and a good night’s sleep. The noise next door starts at 7am - which was ok with us - as we grabbed breakfast & headed to the Train station and a morning connection to Zermatt. If you want/need to sleep past 7am - that would not be possible in the 2nd floor room we booked.

Good hotel, amazing location, good breakfast spread (eggs, bacon, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, pancakes, juice). We had the family room which was on 4th floor. The only con would be that the room was really warm, even though it was cold outside. We needed to switch the AC on because it was so warm in the room. Other than that very convenient stay.

Very good staff service, friendliness and helpfulness. Very good location for touring around. The only criticism is the lack of a mini fridge and kettle in the room. I guess it was clear during booking that they were not mentioned as room facilities so I should have taken more notice the importanceof these things. The room was not tiny so these things could have been provided. It may be for eco or service reasons but not very convenient for us even when a coffee/tea 'room' (more like a corner) can be used. To get to the kettle, we need to take the lift for three floors, walked a corridor through the breakfast room then up the lift for three floors.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to keep our luggage there until check in, allowing us to explore for a bit. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely recommend to everyone. And would stay again.

I had to rebook a night due to a medical issues and the GM refused to give any flexibility. I even showed up the next day and had to “Wait” to check one into the room I paid for the night before. Very inflexible and not very helpful. I would not recommend.

Stuck in Bern - this hotel and their staff bent over backwards for my wife. Could not have asked for better people. Don't get me wrong, it seems like everyone in Switzerland is awesome, but I had to make this review because of the staff. Alexandra and the rest were great.

Location in the city was perfect for dining, shopping, parking, and public transportation. The hotel has a modern feel and sitting on the rooftop patio was a relaxing place to end the day. The rate includes a traditional European breakfast so it made starting the day less complicated. The registration staff was outstanding.

Excellent front desk customer service. The wife and I arrived early afternoon on New Year’s Eve, I asked if they have any recommendations for a restaurant for dinner. The front desk went above and beyond to call and around and find a last minute dinner reservation for us. Fantastic hotel.

Kreuz Bern is a very modern, comfortable facility. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff at the Kreuz was exceptional! They knew the area well and helped us consider how to 'construct' our two day stay to maximize our visit. They were ready with dining options and understood clearly what we were interested in. They all spoke excellent english which was very helpful. Breakfast was also great. Many options and good ones including several kinds of cheese, salami, other meats, yogurts, pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereals, croissants, rolls, butter, jam, fresh fruit.... and any kind of coffee or tea you could want. The staff in the dining room was efficient and helpful. Great stay!! Highly recommend.

A good place to stay being only a 5 minute level walk from the rail station. Reception was first class throughout my stay. Breakfast offered the usual good choice of items. The room was clean, comfortable and for my stay on the 5th floor quiet. Hotel is well located for attractions of Bern. Yes, I would use again.

About a 10 minute walk from Bern Train Station. Located right next to clock tower and less than 5 minutes from historic old town. Coop full supermarket right next door. Lots of food options. Free buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fresh croissants and bread, lots of vegan friendly options to fuel up before exploring the city. Dual coffee and expresso makers in the breakfast area for making any cafe drinks. Wonderful staff at hotel. Room was nice and spacious. Solid comfortable bed and bedding. Close to the river for walking or running. Highly recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Hotel ristrutturato di recente, camere molto accoglienti e pulite. Non e’ ADATTO AI CELIACI, nonostante avessimo avvisato per tempo, e’ stato fornito un pacchetto aperto con solo 2 fette di pane e non avevano altro. E’ stato molto spiacevole questo, visto che in tutta Berna non ci sono opzioni senza glutine, a parte acquistare nei supermercati. Per il resto l’hotel e’ fantastico.
