It was a good stay the only bad thing was that there was no free WiFi there you had to pay for it so just used my mobile data it used to have free WiFi that was the only downside apart from that I can’t fault it

I booked an Executive twin room which was spacious, bright with a partial sea view. There were two wardrobes with an iron but no safe. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was in a quiet location so I slept well. There were no sockets by the beds for charging mobiles overnight. No room cleaning service was offered during my 4 nights stay, not even at an extra cost although I could request clean towels, linen and cups. The bathroom only offered liquid soap dispensers, not separate body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The bath plug had to be removed the next day with pliars so I had two morning showers standing in cold bathwater. Overall the room was comfortable but not of executive level. The reception staff were helpful. I did not have breakfast or use the bar. Parking cost £5 per night.

Room spacious but location awful. Room above kitchen. View out of the window was of the dirty fans and rooftop. Wifi signal very poor in this room. I was told that to change rooms I had to check out at 10am, amuse myself for 5 hours which I had paid for Then check back in. This is poor planning. I remained in the room as it was only for another night and was not about to be out of a room for 5 hours. Parking is ample and reasonable. They do not do housekeeping, only after room vacated. I dont stay in hotels so that I clean, tidy and make my own bed. I have to do that at home. If u need towels, ask for them etc. If I had been there a week, I would have had to clean my own room. No thanks. Hotel caters to mostly coach loads of elderly guests.

The Heathlands is a reasonable budget option. Its location is good, and the staff seem friendly. It could do with investment though, as the furnishings are tired. Note that the rooms don't have air conditioning. That isn't a problem 95% of the time in the UK, but if you catch a heatwave as I did, you'll be trying to sleep in an oven.

It was a nice hotel. Calm and quiet place. Very close to the beach and town centre. Staff were ok. They didn’t do housekeeping whilst you stay in the room. Double size bed felt small. Amenities were nice. Were given 2 fans, ironing board and iron + kettle and hot drink options as usual. They had a wash and shower dispenser but no actual bottles of those each so I wondered when it was last changed. Parking great as well. Nice garden outside

Great location with parking ( for a charge ) which wasn’t stated online. On the night I stayed there was very strong winds, constant wind hollowing through the windows all night & constant floor board creaking from upstairs, apart from that the staff are friendly.

You have to pay for internet in room, I was lucky they upgraded me , but my so called internet room is just a room happen to receive signal from the lobby. The staffs are great and kind, room is old. Carpark is 5 pound per night, walk 10 Mins to town 15 mins to pier and beach. Check in time is crazy 4pm and check out time is 10am , late check out at 11am is 10 pounds extra. Personally I can't stand of it, but didn't know until I got there.

To be honest if i had known this was a Brittania hotel i wouldn't have booked it. Aa previous experiance staying with this chain was not good. But i am so glad i did, the hotel was spotless, our room perfect, and again spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. We had breakfast in a spotless dining room with a freshly cooked buffet breakfast. Plus cereal etc. Even the coffee was good. The roller toaster was good and everything spotless. Andreas in the dining room was ultra efficient, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Checking in was easy and quick.

Very run down hotel. Rooms don’t get cleaned unless asked. Very old fashioned furniture and dated bathrooms. A few occasions there was trouble in the hotel and think this was due to the council housing tenants in the hotel. It’s a budget hotel out of season but wouldn’t pay anymore in season. The only positive was the lovely lady on reception (Latvian lady) who was always accommodating.

Great location to beach and city, within walking distance. The rates were affordable for those on a budget but the rooms felt dusty, dirty, in need of a serious clean and a decent mattress. The staff were lovely, accomodating and helpful.

Hotel staff were nice and location is good. We requested a double room with double bed and got 2 single beds with 2 single mattresses pushed together. They were Rock hard and sleep was very limited. The bath had hair in when we arrived and the water pressure was awful so we avoided showering until we returned home (luckily we were only there 1 night) The whole place looked dated and tired and the lack of sleep meant we wouldn’t return. However O Neil’s bar a 10minute walk away does an AMAZONG happy hour!!

It’s been good because of its location which is very close to the beach. Very nice staff too . The only downside is the room being too warm as the windows were open a bit and we couldn’t sleep properly although there were two fans . It would have been better if there was an air conditioning.

I paid a huge amount for two nights in a single room which was smaller than a broom cupboard and directly next to the lifts. One small window and very claustrophobic !

Stayed few times before and had ‘decent’ rooms. This time we were put in room 4 and it is so small, unventilated, dated, smelly, hot and the bed is impossible to sleep on. Overall two uncomfortable nights and when I went to check out and share feedback nobody available due to large papery leaving. Will never stay here again.

Unfortunately, the mattress was terrible. I could feel the springs and even had back pain for a few days. The water in the outlet and shower had no pressure either.

We like to stay at the Heathlands when we visit Bournemouth, The hotel is close to the beach for long walks, The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is comfy and reasonably priced, it is close to restaurants that we enjoy visiting, we are always made to feel welcome

Room lovely, staff nice and very attentive. Bed mattress was very hard and uncomfortable and had only one pillow so had a poor night's sleep.

Last minute stay. Been updated slightly down stairs which is welcoming Room had been painted and freshened fairly recently but literally painted over cracks and bumps etc. One bedside cabinet missing as mark left where it was. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel every spring and back now suffering. I told receptionist who smiled and said oh really. Couldn’t give a dam Would only use again if no where else to stay and I phone ahead to ask about beds lol

During breakfast, one of the staff members saw me looking for clean plates, didn't pointed me on the right direction, when i found them he said I CAN'T TAKE THOSE PLATES BECAUSE WERE I WAS SAT THERE ARE PLATES i asked if there are different plates for different guests, and he showed me a rude face and a moking smile and kept his words, taking the plates away from my hands and forcing me to go pick up others... Breakfast should end at 10am and he started to remove the food at 09:55am not allowing anyone to take anything else, now i ask is this called a buffet??? The remaining staff, reception, bar, all absolutely amazing.

After booking online and travelling to the hotel we were refused the booking at reception as my partner didn't have photo ID on him. Being the lead booker and all my ID relevant just his bank details with name on wasn't enough. Absolutely disgusting handling of the situation being told no you can't stay even though prepaid. No good will gesture or negotiation on the matter leaving us no where to stay in a town we are not from and had to pay double for a room elsewhere.

You have to pay for internet in room, I was lucky they upgraded me , but my so called internet room is just a room happen to receive signal from the lobby. The staffs are great and kind, room is old. Carpark is 5 pound per night, walk 10 Mins to town 15 mins to pier and beach. Check in time is crazy 4pm and check out time is 10am , late check out at 11am is 10 pounds extra. Personally I can't stand of it, but didn't know until I got there.

Great location of hotel for town centre or walk along front to pier. Although rooms a little dated they were clean. Bathroom tap shower didn't have the greatest of pressure but hot & quick to get to temperature. Buffet breakfast was good & hot with reasonable selection of continental. Fantastic price for area & what you got, will be back!

This property is really convenient for visiting bournemouth beach and local amenities.. with two was down either stick to the main road down the hill or take the amazing a scenic coast path down the cliff side.. call west cliff zig zag. The photo opportunities are great! The place was good value, 24 hour reception, clean, and pleasant staff, . Although i found the mattress uncomfortable.. yet my partner slept like a log! At the end of the day it worked as a base for us!

The Heathlands is a reasonable budget option. Its location is good, and the staff seem friendly. It could do with investment though, as the furnishings are tired. Note that the rooms don't have air conditioning. That isn't a problem 95% of the time in the UK, but if you catch a heatwave as I did, you'll be trying to sleep in an oven.

The hotel was very dated but comfortable and we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Didnt dine in but the restaurant was busy. Also a nice walk to the fantastic beach.

Bed wasn't comfortable its quiet hard. exit door too loud when people go through that door as it kept slamming. We heard doors bang throughout the night. The appearance of the hotel was lovely tho. Clean, tidy and friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was close to the train station and the beach/shops. Nice and airy...staff were kept busy which was a good sign

Great location with parking ( for a charge ) which wasn’t stated online. On the night I stayed there was very strong winds, constant wind hollowing through the windows all night & constant floor board creaking from upstairs, apart from that the staff are friendly.

Great location to beach and city, within walking distance. The rates were affordable for those on a budget but the rooms felt dusty, dirty, in need of a serious clean and a decent mattress. The staff were lovely, accomodating and helpful.

Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Our only complaint was that the pillows were very hard. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Great stay but kitchen closes at 8pm after which not even sandwich can be obtained Having been on rsoad since 7am a d in spite of trying to call to say we mightbe late only to be able to leave message on answer phone was frustrating Managed to order Chinese take away which was delivered in a d excellent. Lift very tight for mobility scooter and room right above entertainment and very loud. Fireworks didn't help either. Several families with young children plus dogs slaying too. Staff by enlarge very helpful though

The hotel was fine but the rooms weren’t cleaned, the breakfast was ok could have been better and having to pay for the parking is a bit of an added cost so not really that impressed. The dinner which we paid for on the first evening wasn’t very appealing.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay and only gave it a 4 star because renovations were taking place and food was unavailable. Location very good. Staff friendly and helpful

Slightly old fashioned large hotel. Room was clean and smaller than anticipated; and the title executive was rather a misnomer. The shower (over the bath) was a bit basic. Bar and outdoor seating area were fine and the Sunday night entertainment was a good touch. The decision to charge a (refundable) deposit for our dog was not a positive touch.

On app for booking it states parking is free but when you get there they want to charge you £5 A DAY but booking this only shoes the parking is free so it be good to take screenshot of this as proof also the premises is not clean found dust , spider webs all around and walls are so thin you can hear people all the time , doors slamming conversation in hallway unsettled sleep due to this plus building noise, staff are very arrogant and not friendly, felt violated tbh but kept my cool through out the stay , will never go to this hotel ever again rather sleep on the street
