Id happily stay there again. The pastries at the door were a lovely touch.

I love Ode Properties. They have amazing beds. I was empathetic toward the front desk staff, as she was dealing with an impossible customer, and I had to wait a while to check in, but because we commiserated she upgraded me. It was so thoughtful of her. I loved my room. Only annoyance is the motorbikes zooming around on the roads behind the hotel at odd hours of the night. I absolutely love that they give you free coffee and pastries. It may be a millennial thing but that’s deeply important to me. This is a large self-serve kind of place but I love it. May not be the right spot for people who want a lot of amenities and service being provided. I’d say a younger crowd would thrive here. Great bar.

What a fabulous hotel - character and charm, Love the nibbles in the foyer and the quant lift. Room is great and bathroom very spacious.

Just an overnight stay because of an early flight. Nice touch with happy hour and free coffee and snacks in the morning. Bed was a little too soft for me but the wife loved it.

The biggest asset of this hotel are the people working there - every single person, every single time they made me feel welcome, we’re super helpful, always with a smile and genuinely super friendly. Well, above your general service levels elsewhere. Great little extras in free barista coffee in the morning. The room had everything that you could ask for and the vibe in the downstairs bar and the left area is great. I personally was not overwhelmed by the location of the hotel, however, it was very quiet for sleeping, and most things are within walking distance.

This quirky hotel has retained some quaint features of times gone by, such as the original lift, but is modern and comfortable at the same time. Loved staying here.

Hi, the parking instructions could be clearer. When I arrived at the desk I was greeted by a person who did not speak English as a first language so details or nuances were not possible to communicate. She gave me a piece of paper with directions to the garage called First and said you “go to the first garage”. My sat nav didn’t point out First garage when I turned into the street. The first garage I was directed to was not First and belonged to the Arora hotel. I parked the car and got a ticket and when I came back to the girl on the desk she said I parked in the wrong garage and would not be able to validate the ticket. I went back and moved the car but still had to pay $19 to leave the garage even though it was within 15 mins of parking there. So this could have beeb avoided if the photo in the piece of paper was clearer and the words FIRST garage are bolded and enlarged. The staff need to be clear that the garage is immediately after turning into the street on the right! The sat nav will not point it out in time and the first garage you see when you are unfamiliar with the area is the Aorora garage. Another thing, I was NOT told when I checked in on Thursday that I should book a table for dinner for Friday or Saturday night if I wanted to eat there so when I went down to eat dinner on Sat I could not get a table because did not have a reservation. I expect a boutique hotel to inform at check in about booking ahead for a Friday and Saturday night dinner in the hotel.

No value for money . Dark,dusty, the smell of dampness inside , lots of appliances didnt work.

Staff were not overly kind or helpful during check-in. My bathroom floor had not been cleaned/mopped. The hotel itself has a very cool vintage vibe. The beds are extremely comfortable. Nice smelling toiletries in bathrooms. Rooms are equipped with high end coffee bars and all coffee essentials as well as complimentary sodas and water bottles.

The property has old world charm and is well kept. It’s central in the city. It’s small but comfortable. I would recommend it.

Quaint and somewhat quirky heritage listed property very close to Brisbane CBD and Central Railway Station. However our bed wasn’t overly comfortable and the mattress sagged a little. The bathroom was generally clean with nice toiletries and the shower was hot with good water pressure. Our air conditioning did have a habit of turning itself off a few times during the humid night which was a little annoying. We did enjoy a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. Thank you

the Inchcolm must be the most overrated Hotel in brisbane. after 4 weeks in australia and about 10 different hotels, this was our last stop. the first impression is the reception at a depressing dark bar. the room was at the end of a long, totally black corridor. it's supposed to be "artsy", but it is just depressing. one picture in our room showed an obviously abused housewife which was forced to write several times "life is beautiful". the view out of the window looked on to the driveway of the hotel next door which we wished we had booked.

Such a lovely renovated old building with lots of interesting features. Loved that they had kept the old hand mechanism in the lift. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect with the bedrooms well separated on either side of the bathroom and the lounge and entry separate. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud, I don't usually like soft beds, but this one was great. Great quality linen and towels. Lots of storage. Only problem was I wasn't there long enough to take full advantage of the luxury. Bathroom had shower and separate bath.

My room was fantastic. Loved having a sitting room to watch TV. The bathroom was so luxurious. The bed was comfortable with another TV to watch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Still can't get over the restored elevator. A very nice hotel.

Love the vintage rooms. Dislike the vintage beds. Waaaaaaay too soft. Asked reception if any other rooms had firmer beds and they did not. Mattress was worn out and had to use pillow to fill the sink hole in mattress.

The building is absolutely beautiful and has the most charming atmosphere. Staff were readily available, attentive and quick to respond to any requests. The food was amazing. We can't wait to stay again.

I originally booked this hotel rather than the newer hotels in Brisbane thinking that it was an old building and had more character, which it did but overall felt the upkeep of the hotel was not so good and therefore it just felt old and a bit run down. The service also wasn't very good. When we checked in they said they offered complimentary breakfast (coffee, fruits and pastries) but on the first morning the pastries were all gone and the staff said they were getting more but we had to ask three times for them as there was only one person working at the front desk and she kept getting busy with other things. Finally after 20 minutes she brought out some tiny cold pastries. If you're going to offer that service then provide a good service or none at all because I would rather have just eaten out rather then spend my time waiting for what they eventually offered. The room was also not so great. It felt dark, dingy and outdates. I ended up checked out after one night and lost my money on the second night just to get something better.

This is a great property in walking distance to the city centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy, sophisticated atmosphere A wonderful staff who are welcoming and proactive in their approach. The menu looked amazing, however unfortunately we weren’t in a position to dine there.

From the minute we arrived and were greeted by Jericho at reception we were entralled. A generous and kind room upgrade and all the little important details made this overnight stay feel like a week long vacation. We will be back to hopefully stay for longer next visit.

Great location with convenient train station nearby with a 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was good with a lot of varieties to choose from.

Die Lage direkt am Central Station ist sehr gut. Man kann nur Southbank fahren oder laufen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und haben alles was man benötigt, inklusive einem sehr starken Fön. Schwierig war nur einen Late Check out zu bekommen…. Es gibt Sonntags keine Snacks von der Bar. Zum Frühstück gibt es nur Kaffee mit einer Kleinigkeit.

This lovely boutique hotel has a refurbished modern look with a retro feel. Close to central station so easy access to trains. Front desk staff so very helpful and a big shout out to the regular female (whose name I did not get) who helped me daily. Their new dinner menu has a wonderful gnocchi dish on it. I love their environmental encouragement. Would recommend to all

I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times and it’s been pretty good. But this time around they told me they no longer serve breakfast. This is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. I always like to get some breakfast before I head out to work. Now, I have to go out to a cafe and the selection nearby is not great.
