Lovely stay in beautiful old house, close to the city center (10/15 min walk) with plenty of free parking on the premises. Room comfortable and clean. Free breakfast, which was buffet style in lovely dining room. Good selection of hot and continental style food although as with most breakfast buffets the hot food was a little dried up. Nice big garden out the back to explore and relax in. Can’t say enough about the great service especially the hard working Hungarian lady who was on reception all day and evening and then was serving us our breakfast! Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was stunning,the furnishings well thought through and it had a delightful outlook over the beautiful garden.The breakfast was generous and varied..The building was full of character ,the communal rooms had lovely period detail and everywhere was clean and warm. Lovely hotel, short walk from the cricket ground and a bit longer into town. I had a room with a very good breakfast but friends were in a bungalow and apartment both of which looked great so there’s a choice self catering. Lovely garden and seating at the back. Good for parking too.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfasts was a good choice of English and continental breakfast, if you are travelling by car to the hotel then you have plenty of space in to park, i travelled to Canterbury by train, the nearest station is Canterbury east

Quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay. It would be nice to have a little more water pressure in the place especially in the shower. Also, the parking was very limited at night.

My wife and I decided to visit Canterbury and chose this hotel which is a short walk fro the centre. The room was superb and the breakfast was very good. The image was from our window looking out onto the back garden.

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough! Just wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were kind & helpful, my room was spotless, warm & comfortable, the public areas were tastefully decorated, the grounds were beautiful & the buffet breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. An excellent stay, right in the heart of Canterbury. Thank you!

The room was not very clean. The shower has mildew growing between the shower tiles and around the exterior rim of the tub. There were spiders and a ton of cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. The carpet was dirty. The kitchen did not have enough plates for the number of beds offered. We did not use parking or the breakfast. The service was adequate, but we got locked out of the back door at 10am. We did enjoy our stay, and would stay again- but with the knowledge that this is not a 5-star stay

Stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights. Generally fine but cleanliness was a concern (eg found dead bugs on floor). Furniture etc was again adequate but just expected a bit better given what we paid. That said, beautiful garden and main building.

Stayed in a 2 bed cottage. Plenty of room, lounge diner Kitchen, Double bedded room and twin bedded room. Bathroom with shower over bath. There were a couple of marks on the carpet, possibly chewing gum, and a couple of the kitchen cupboards needed hinges sorting out. Overall a good stay, makes a much better base than just a hotel room with an en-suite.

Nice place! Good value, friendly staff, clean and warm. Room good size, bathroom very clean with good shower water pressure (although bath rather narrow). Nice "full English" included in price. Off street parking in front of the hotel. Convenient 10 minutes walk to the centre of town.

This is a lovely hotel to stay in, my room had a canopy bed and fireplace, huge with high ceilings. Nice and walkable to the Cathedral. Breakfast offered lotsof choice and good food.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room did contain the word ‘small’ in the description but we hadn’t thought it would be so small. The shower was good and the room was clean. It would have been useful to have more than 2 clothes hangers in the wardrobe and a kettle lid that fitted properly. However, we didn’t mention this at the time and had we, it might have been rectified. The cooked breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a good position to walk into the centre but we could hear constant traffic from our room from the busy road.

The hotel was dated but they have updated the bathrooms. The room was layer out badly having to squeeze past the bed and banging my head on the tv twice. The reception staff were functional but not really friendly a bland apology that the WiFi was not working which with a lot of work to do was not helpful on top of the bad reception. I hardly slept as the bed and pillows were rock hard but I did enjoy the breakfast in the morning and there was ample free parking for the guests. Short walk to shops and town about 20 minutes.

The Ebury Hotel was by far our favorite accommodation in the well over a month my two children and I have been traveling through Europe and the UK. It has so much Victorian character and they’ve been sure to keep that alive. The place was quiet, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Blake was particularly wonderful; kind, helpful, engaging and absolutely welcoming. He made our stay that much more like home. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Ebury!

I had a great experience the first time I stayed at this place. And this would've been too if it hadn't been for a really unhelpful & rude member of staff who lacked any customer service skills. He was a young guy so I gave him another chance and he dealt with that just as poorly as the first time I tried to resolve my issue. I found the management uncooperative with my complaint and reluctant to even acknowledge the incident never mind help with a resolution.

Outside of the main area but still within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the high street. Not super accessible by public transport it seemed and was on the opposite side of the train station.

Great location within walking distance of the Csthedral! Friendly reception! Spacious room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Clean room and bathroom. Beautiful gardens. On site parking.

Very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and pretty back garden. The walk to the cathedral is about 12-15 minutes. Certainly doable but thought it worth mentioning.

Lovely stay in beautiful old house, close to the city center (10/15 min walk) with plenty of free parking on the premises. Room comfortable and clean. Free breakfast, which was buffet style in lovely dining room. Good selection of hot and continental style food although as with most breakfast buffets the hot food was a little dried up. Nice big garden out the back to explore and relax in. Can’t say enough about the great service especially the hard working Hungarian lady who was on reception all day and evening and then was serving us our breakfast! Would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfasts was a good choice of English and continental breakfast, if you are travelling by car to the hotel then you have plenty of space in to park, i travelled to Canterbury by train, the nearest station is Canterbury east

My wife and I decided to visit Canterbury and chose this hotel which is a short walk fro the centre. The room was superb and the breakfast was very good. The image was from our window looking out onto the back garden.

Stayed in a 2 bed cottage. Plenty of room, lounge diner Kitchen, Double bedded room and twin bedded room. Bathroom with shower over bath. There were a couple of marks on the carpet, possibly chewing gum, and a couple of the kitchen cupboards needed hinges sorting out. Overall a good stay, makes a much better base than just a hotel room with an en-suite.

The Ebury Hotel was by far our favorite accommodation in the well over a month my two children and I have been traveling through Europe and the UK. It has so much Victorian character and they’ve been sure to keep that alive. The place was quiet, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Blake was particularly wonderful; kind, helpful, engaging and absolutely welcoming. He made our stay that much more like home. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Ebury!
