Stayed 4 nights

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot in the CBD, with easy access to local amenities. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-suited to our needs. However, my stay was disrupted by a serious issue. On arrival (Nov. 17), I was told the hotel was overbooked and no room was available, despite having made my reservation on Oct. 2 and extending it on Oct. 31. Both bookings were confirmed and fully paid. As a result, my wife, daughter, and I were relocated to another Protea Hotel in Sea Point for one night, where we were given a small room with two beds. This was highly inconvenient and uncomfortable. My booking was for five nights, but due to the overbooking we spent only four nights at Protea North Wharf and one night at Sea Point. I specifically chose Protea North Wharf because it is close to the office where I had meetings and offers apartment-style accommodation suitable for my family. Being moved to Sea Point disrupted my plans and caused unexpected costs. I hope the hotel will provide appropriate compensation and ensure such incidents do not happen to future guests. Kind regards
