We booked to stay for the night at the end of a 10 day holiday in SA. It was the perfect ending to our vacation: the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms tastefully and luxuriously furnished, the staff attentive, and the grounds beautifully maintained. The pool area is also a quiet oasis. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely first class. The staff and rooms are out of this world. Enjoyed the included wine tasting and the restaurants. The great golf facilities were an added bonus.

It was with incredulity that we were allocated a room, next to the workers rest facilities/restaurant, and with a view of a wall and hedge. The Mountain View room we booked had not been kept for us. The next room we were given was of a hedge. Disappointingly, this room did not have “ tranquil werf on their entrance doorstep and private terraces with spectacular unimpeded views of the mountains across the vines or meandering greens” This is misrepresentation, as are the misleading photographs of a spectacular pool that it transpires - is not available to guests staying in our rooms. We are only allowed access to the small pool at the Spa. This is not exclusive as this is for the use of anyone using the Spa. Yesterday, there were no seats left when we looked in. It is unconscionable that they continue to deliberately mislead potential guests. What you do offer is interrupted views of Pollsmore Prison

Steenberg is a beautiful winery with lovely accommodation and great staff. You get a free wine tasting as well. There are 2 on site restaurants - Tryn and Bistro Sixteen82. Tryn is more catered to a fine dining feel, but we felt the Bistro was the better restaurant, for lunch or dinner, but still recommend both. The rooms are large and attention to detail is great, but there was a little bit of noise from the next door room (nothing over the top, but just something that they could look to imrpove). Also, the tin roof cracks and creaks with changes in twmperature through the day. Having said that, we would definitely return and definitely recommend it. The spa is also lovely and very reasonable! And finally, the vineyards themselves are truly stunning and the walking trail through and around them is highly recommended! The staff were also absolutely fantastic and would do anything for you!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem und herzlichem Service in sämtlichen Bereichen (Hotel, Restaurant, Spa). Schönes und gemütliches Zimmer im Manor House. Toller beheizter Außenpool, der problemlos in der kühleren Jahreszeit zum Schwimmen einlädt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und weitläufig. Daher bestens zum Spazieren oder Joggen geeignet. Golfplatz direkt neben dem Hotel. Tolle Auswahl beim a la carte Frühstück, sehr gute Qualität und überaus lecker. Auch das Mittagessen (gleiche Karte wie abends) im Tryn Restaurant war sehr lecker. Darüber hinaus gab es eine gut sortierte Weinkarte. Auch die Cocktails im Lounge Bereich des Tryn waren sehr gut. I loved my stay here. The staff were so friendly and looked after me especially when I fell ill during my stay. The spa was wonderful. I would love to come and stay again!

A beautiful property in a peaceful setting, great restaurants on site and the opportunity to taste their wines too! Take a walk around the grounds on the signposted walking trail. I would highly recommend this hotel, could not be happier with our choice.

O local é maravilhoso. Muita área verde, tudo muito bem cuidado, com muito capricho e bom gosto. As instalações também são extremamente bem cuidadas, tudo com qualidade e muito limpo. O quarto é bastante confortável, cama e travesseiro muito bons. Tv com aplicativos como Netflix, Youtube, etc. Tudo no banheiro funciona muito bem também. Café da manha muito bom também. E embora não estejam inclusos no preço, recomendo uma degustação de vinhos na vinícola, e principa,mente um jantar no restaurante Tryn, que é MUITO bom. Vale muito a pena!

Die Steenberg Farm bietet eine wunderschöne Umgebung mit hohem Comfort. Die Premier Zimmer mit Blick auf den Golfplatz sind exzellent. House Keeping aufmerksam, gewissenhaft und freundlich. Dinner Restaurant sehr gut. Frühstück leider nur a la Carte und Personal teilweise sehr unzuverlässig.

Rooms were nice and service was great. The place is very beautiful and tranquil. We had a ironing board delivered to our suite but then when we left for dinner, some staff had came back to our room unannounced, and without telling us took the ironing board and iron and moved some of the bedding around. We mentioned this to the manager when we checked out, but it made us incredibly uncomfortable and I don’t know if we would stay there again because of that instance. I hope management will notify future guests if they intend to enter their suites at any point during their stay, whether it be part of their service offerings or not.
Rooms were nice and service was great. The place is very beautiful and tranquil. Rooms were nice and service was great. The place is very beautiful and tranquil. We had a ironing board delivered to our suite but then when we left for dinner, some staff had came back to our room unannounced, and without telling us took the ironing board and iron and moved some of the bedding around. We mentioned this to the manager when we checked out, but it made us incredibly uncomfortable and I don’t know if we would stay there again because of that instance. I hope management will notify future guests if they intend to enter their suites at any point during their stay, whether it be part of their service offerings or not.

We booked to stay for the night at the end of a 10 day holiday in SA. It was the perfect ending to our vacation: the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms tastefully and luxuriously furnished, the staff attentive, and the grounds beautifully maintained. The pool area is also a quiet oasis. Can’t recommend highly enough.

It was with incredulity that we were allocated a room, next to the workers rest facilities/restaurant, and with a view of a wall and hedge. The Mountain View room we booked had not been kept for us. The next room we were given was of a hedge. Disappointingly, this room did not have “ tranquil werf on their entrance doorstep and private terraces with spectacular unimpeded views of the mountains across the vines or meandering greens” This is misrepresentation, as are the misleading photographs of a spectacular pool that it transpires - is not available to guests staying in our rooms. We are only allowed access to the small pool at the Spa. This is not exclusive as this is for the use of anyone using the Spa. Yesterday, there were no seats left when we looked in. It is unconscionable that they continue to deliberately mislead potential guests. What you do offer is interrupted views of Pollsmore Prison

Wunderschönes Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem und herzlichem Service in sämtlichen Bereichen (Hotel, Restaurant, Spa). Schönes und gemütliches Zimmer im Manor House. Steenberg is a beautiful winery with lovely accommodation and great staff. You get a free wine tasting as well. There are 2 on site restaurants - Tryn and Bistro Sixteen82. Tryn is more catered to a fine dining feel, but we felt the Bistro was the better restaurant, for lunch or dinner, but still recommend both. The rooms are large and attention to detail is great, but there was a little bit of noise from the next door room (nothing over the top, but just something that they could look to imrpove). Also, the tin roof cracks and creaks with changes in twmperature through the day. Having said that, we would definitely return and definitely recommend it. The spa is also lovely and very reasonable! And finally, the vineyards themselves are truly stunning and the walking trail through and around them is highly recommended! The staff were also absolutely fantastic and would do anything for you!

O quarto é bastante confortável, cama e travesseiro muito bons. Tv com aplicativos como Netflix, Youtube, etc. Tudo no banheiro funciona muito bem também. Café da manha muito bom também. E embora não estejam inclusos no preço, recomendo uma degustação de vinhos na vinícola, e principa,mente um jantar no restaurante Tryn, que é MUITO bom. Vale muito a pena!

We so enjoyed our stay at Steenberg estate as well as the stunning food in the Bistro. Best meal ever! All the staff were charming, helpful and efficient. We so enjoyed our stay at Steenberg estate as well as the stunning food in the Bistro. Best meal ever! All the staff were charming, helpful and efficient. A must stay! Just book it. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great restaurants and wine tasting experience. They offer several services including transfers to the waterfront and spa. I will definitely come back.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive you relax in 5* luxury, the staff are outstanding, warm and friendly. Facilities incredible, mountain views across the Vineyards a stunning kitchen garden and 2 outstanding restaurants. Thanks we will be back!
