Room was excellent. Pool and spa area was great. Close to town and shops. Definitely recommend.

Perfect location with friendly and efficient staff. Pool was small but adequate. Room had all that was needed. (Although it was our first hotel after several days in a campervan)

Lovely place to stay close to everything in Christchurch. Room was great, clean and had everything we needed. Restaurant on site highly recommend. We had dinner there and it was well priced and very enjoyable. They also do buffet breakfast. Parking was free and convenient. Staff very accommodating. Walking distance to many other restaurants and casino.

Nice property, well located with nice rooms and amenities. Only negative was limited parking availability.

Accommodation was ok. Needs updating. Parking was terrible - ok if you have a small vehicle but such a small area to park and turn round. Weren’t too sure where the exits were for vehicles, felt that they needed to give you more information about things when you arrive, perhaps a map so you can see exactly where your room is as it’s quite spread out.

The service from the staff were excellent. There was a dirty sock on the floor next to the bed. I handed it in at reception.

Stayed here happily many times…but this time, many ants in the room.

The location to christchurch city, hagley park was great. The hotel had lovely, well kept facilities ( spa, pool, sauna). The ventilation in the bathroom needs attention as there was mold on the ceiling in bathroom and toliet otherwise the room was lovely. Would stay there again.

Our room was spotlessly clean, perfect. Heating was very effective & there was lots of spaces to put our travel bits & pieces. Pillows were very comfortable.

Bathroom was really smelly so had to leave the windows open all night, I think it was the drains.

Was lovely and clean. Great room. Quiet over night. We had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely beautiful with a good selection and good sized meals. All the staff were very professional and friendly with great service. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very awkward hotel. My room had huge windows which theoretically would be great except it faces a parking on both sides. And so I felt very exposed with no privacy. I pulled the drapes closed at all times when I was in the room. However people could see you coming and going. It felt a little scary to me. I found the staff to be aloof when checking in and out. No interest in asking about my stay at all. Felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. The restaurant is convenient and staff was nice. But it’s dark and uninviting. Bartender or manager was nice. Food was meh.

Although this property has been operating for many years we were pleasantly surprised at how well the upkeep of the facilities were. Our room was newly renovated to a lovely standard. Super clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Stayed at this property for 1 night with family. This is not really a hotel - more of a motel! The room was very small, the bathroom was TINY! No great amenities in room either. Overall, best to avoid this hotel.

Best water pressure and towels of all the hotels I stayed in over my six weeks in New Zealand. Bed was comfy and I got a good nights sleep.

Very friendly staff. Great location. Room was warm and cosy and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was minimal.

All travelers—especially those hoping for a pleasant, quiet, and relaxing stay in Christchurch—should avoid this hotel at all costs. The management clearly lacks even the most basic ability (or interest) in running a hotel where guests can actually rest. Under no circumstances should you book a room facing the swimming pool unless your goal is sleep deprivation. The noise levels are outrageous and relentless, and the hotel makes it abundantly clear that they simply do not care. The hotel manager’s attitude can best be described as: not their problem, not their trip, not their concern. I travel extensively for work—around 100 nights per year for the past 3–4 years—and I can say without hesitation that this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I wouldn’t give it one star if that were an option. Ironically, even holiday parks and camping sites manage noise control better than this so-called “4-star” hotel. At least in those places, someone steps in after dark to ensure basic courtesy. Here, the duty manager claimed they had “taken action” by politely asking a group of teenage sports teams to be quiet—an effort that was clearly meaningless. The result? A full-blown balcony party, loud music, and continuous offensive language, all clearly audible to our young children. How this establishment managed to earn a 4-star rating is genuinely baffling. The mindset, service quality, and complete lack of guest care are nowhere near that standard. To be perfectly clear: If

Front staff was not quite thoughtful. It mentioned in the hotel info that there's friendly fee for taxi to the airport, but there certainly wasn't. The front staff just called taxi on web, and the driver charged me 53 dollars, which is way too expensive for such a short distance.

Arrival was very stressful..we couldnt find our room as it was outside the gate to property..we were upgraded to another room because of construction, getting our luggage up the stairs was abit tricky in the rain...Dinning in the staff dailed to offer us the kids menu.

Check-in was efficient and very friendly. Our questions and requests were met with instant attention. The room was spacious and clean, and the restaurant is next level. Very nice stay, so we went back again the following week. Wonderful.

Solid stop over hotel in Christcurch for your road trip. We actually stayed four nights while we drove out into the surrounding areas to go sightseeing. Our room had a jet tub and great working AC. The daily housekeepers were great. They even washed out dishes for us and we honestly felt bad about it. We had a bit of an issue one night with some very noisy guests partying in the cottages behind us. We called the front desk and they said they'd go to talk to them but they never did quiet down. Thankfully we popped the earplugs in and were able to get to sleep. Solid place. We'd stay here again.

Mycket rymligt och trivsamt rum. Utmärkt frukost, tyvärr hade receptionen inte kontroll på att frukosten ingick i bokningen och debiterade 3 x 2 frukost felaktigt. Korrigerades efter påpekande, pengar åter efter en vecka.

Very pleasant hotel - slightly outside central city but very easy to get to. Second time I have stayed there and I am as pleased as I was the first time. Bar and restaurant are excellent so I had no need to leave the hotel. Room was more than adequate.

Check-in was a breeze and front desk team was really friendly. Convenient location for a work trip, walkable to nearby supermarket (about 800 m away) and fast food just around the corner when the restaurant is closed for the night.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment & it was very spacious. Full kitchen & lounge area, large bathroom with full size bath. Comfy beds & prompt room service. Staff were all lovely & the breakfast buffet was delicious.
