Burg-Hotel & Hostel Cochem

Not a good stay - initial room had not been serviced, had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs through a kitchen, nowhere to store luggage nor any help/suggestions to where I might be able to, bathroom very tiny, pillows small, birds nesting outside the window, etc.

Nice location. No AM coffee or food. Check in is key code after 3. No luggage storage if early. No AC. NO SOAP.

The parking is terrible there was no ability to check out easy and access your bags. Had to pack our bags up and down all stairs. The elevator was not working!! There were workers on the property who didn’t even care to help by letting us out front door when we brought car around. They even had keys! Had to haul luggage out back down back alley to and of block then drag back in front of building where we parked the car. There was no public parking. We had to park a mile away. Very inconvenient. Would not recommend this place.

Property needs improvement in cleaning section as there was lots of webs in balcony, i saw spider was roaming in room. Plus they should provide basic things like IRON for clothes. Location is superb and in center and quiet too being in center.

While the hotel is dated and staff is the receptionist at the front desk, the location, price and cleanliness make up for this.
