Very clean, excellent breakfast, stellar location. Check in a little tough, as you can only park for a very short time across from the hotel (then get a freeparking pass to park along the river or in their private lot). Once that is taken care of, everything is smooth!

Breakfast was generous. Really good family run hotel across the river from Cochem. It has great views of the castle. Parking tags are provided to park for free by the river. The hotel does not have parking at the facility but this was not a problem for us.

Nice location, not ideal parking options but I think that’s just the way it is everywhere in Cochem. It was quite hot when we were there, and the room we were in we could not keep a comfortable temperature. No mini fridge is also tough for travellers. However, everything else was excellent, very nice staff and a solid breakfast to start the day was great.

Wonderful hotel in a picturesque area. We had a balcony room overlooking the castle and the view was incredible. Also surprisingly comfortable beds with comfy duvets. You can also buy bottles of wine from the region and beer at reception.

Lovely property in a great location. Easy to walk to main shopping area & castle. Watch your Navi, it's easy to miss the street it's on if you are driving. Hotel provides a parking pass for the next street down for the hotel. Breakfast was a nice typical German spread. Definitely recommend.

+ : Clean room, everything was working fine, good breakfast. I arrived a bit early, but I could leave my luggage in my fresh cleaned room. - : I must say that having heavy luggage to bring two floors up is not the best, but the rest was really good.

Pessoal muito simpático e prestativo. O café da manhã era muito bom! Nosso quarto era espaçoso e com vista para o rio e o castelo. O inconveniente é que eram necessários 3 lances de escada para chegar e com malas grandes não foi nada confortável. Na chegada o proprietário nos ajudou.

Wortwörtlich, das letzte Zimmer, Dachgeschoß, Ende des Ganges. Nach Check-in und Schlüsselübergabe stellte sich heraus, Zimmer war noch schmutzig und benutzt vom vorherigen Gast. Man konnte sich noch nicht mal frischmachen, geschweige dann ausruhen. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dann wird es eben noch gemacht. Keine Entschuldigung, im Gegenteil, das Verhalten implizierte, was stellt man sich so an. Kühlschrank sollte aufgefüllt werden, wurde nicht gemacht. Zimmer hatte Dachfenster ohne Verdunkelung, die Abendsonne erhitzte es besonders, ab 5 Uhr morgens war es taghell. Beim Check-out wurde geflissentlich vermieden zu fragen wie der Aufenthalt war. Niveau weit unter den Erfahrungen, die wir weltweit gemacht haben.

Brukt kun som gjennomreise, men fint sted. Rommet var nok på feil side så vi kunne ikke ha vinduene helt oppe pga veien i samme høyde og det var varmt. Manglet AC… To vifter holdt ikke dessverre.

If it wasn’t for the paper thin walls, we would have been so happy staying here, our stay was ruined by LOUD people In The next room. The hotel is family run and they do their best to welcome guests, and their breakfast is top quality, but when you can hear a ding through the walls indicating message received on their computer, that’s what we had to deal with. The bed was comfortable, I loved their pillows, proximity to the main tourist place was good, the only problem was the acoustics and I just wanted to getaway in the end. I’m so sorry to say all this, because it’s family run business.

Stayed here for 1 night following a boat and bike trip. Older hotel but stay was nice. Bathrooms quite small but just fine for overnight. The breakfast was great. Enjoyed the fact we were walking distance into town and would stay here again. No A/C and with global warming glad we were in the back of the hotel away from the afternoon sun. Thanks for a great stay.

Hotel is in a beautiful old town and the room we were given faced the opposite way and looked at a concrete wall and street. I thought that I had booked a room with a small balcony and view of the castle, but I did not get that.

The view of the castle from the castle view balcony room was fantastic. The owner was extremely welcoming and provided excellent service. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal. It’s about a 10 minute walk over a picturesque bride to the Main Street with restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend booking your stay here!

Locatie en ontbijt zijn prima en parkeren is op loopafstand. De zg comfort kamer is niet prima en geeft ook geen comfort. Geen stoelen om op te zitten, piep kleine badkamer, geen kluis, geen koelkast en een bureau als nachtkastje. En dat voor €122 per nacht.

Only criticism for the hotel is that there was no one at the hotel to check us in after 6PM. We had to call the hotel to get a staff member to come from their home and let us in. After 24 hours of travel from the USA this was very inconvient.

Personal supernett und hilfsbereit! Lage war top, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon im 3. OG. Frühstück war sehr gut - auch war das Personal super! Es ist jetzt nicht „modern“ (Speiseraum schon) aber absolut passend zur Location! Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorhanden. Wir würden uns wieder für diese Unterkunft entscheiden!

Loved our stay here. Just the nicest most accommodating people. Early check in, took our luggage upstairs for us, self service wine, soft drinks and snacks in the evening, lovely cafe. Quick walk over the bridge into town.

It is a family run hotel, and the owners were very gracious. No elevator so they helped us with our bags. Nice to be on that side of the bridge outside of the hubbub. Nice breakfast provided.

I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Zenthof. The minute we arrived we were helped with parking our van which was not a normal size. I loved my room with a view of the river and castle. The breakfast was delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful. It was also in a quiet location set back from the river but a five minute walk away.
