Konstantinoupolis Hotel - Adults friendly

We recently stayed at the Konstantinoupolis Hotel for one night in March on a layover to Serande, Albania. We found our stay quite pleasing. We picked the hotel partly due to it's location in the heart of Old Town Corfu, Greece, making it an ideal location for us to explore the historic city. It is a quirky hotel with the reception on the first floor (ground is zero). The tiny elevator was just barely big enough for me and our luggage. Our room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. We had a little balcony and a lovely view of the sea. The bed was comfortable and we had a TV, and free Wi-Fi. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's prime location in Old Town Corfu. We enjoyed strolling through the narrow alleys, admiring the city's impressive architecture and exploring the charming shops, cafes, and restaurants dotted throughout the area. We easily found a taxi across the street at the taxi stand to take us to the new port for our ferry to Serande. Expect to pay around 10 Euros. The hotel is old, but kept up. Note that there was music from the restaurant below until nearly midnight during our Friday night stay. Also the sewers in the town are old and expect to use the waste basket for certain papers when using the toilet. Which could be a shock for some. We would stay here again.

Bra hotell for deg som skal være der en natt eller to. Bra med heis for de som ikke kan gå trapper. Ligger veldig sentralt til det du måtte ønske.

This hotel is located in the Old Port section of Corfu town. The hotel overlooks a bay and a marina. It is a charming older hotel with an elevator straight out of an Agatha Christie novel. The reception office is on the second floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful and someone is there 24/7. My bedroom on the 2nd floor was small, but had a beautiful view of the bay and the New Fort on the hill. The room was a little dated. The room has it's own heater and AC unit. The carpet was a bit worn and the bed could use a new comforter. There was a small mini fridge. The bathroom was rennovated and updated. Security might be an issue for some. The room locks and unlocks using an old key. I had to lock myself in at night using the key and then using a chain lock for an additional safety feature. No bolt locks. I left the key in the lock at night in case there was a fire. The hotel does not lock their doors at night so that might be an issue for some. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel because of it's old world charm and the location. It was an easy walk to the parks, the Old Fort, and the Museums. There are several restaurants nearby. There is a taxi stand right in front of the hotel which was very convenient. A taxi to the airport was €15 I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a step back in time and a reasonable rate. And of course that Old World Charm that reminds me of travel in a slower and different era.

By 23:10 we had passed passport control (with UK passports so we’re expecting a long queue) collected our bags taken a taxi to the hotel (20euro and very quick) checked in and found our room. We then went for a quick drink in one of the large number of great bars and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is old, 1860 according to the sign on the door. So it’s fair to say it’s traditional. The lift is tiny but works well. The rooms are a little dated in their decor BUT they are spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. The bathroom was small but lovely (I guess recently updated). The windows kept any noise out and in the morning with windows open and shutters open we had a great view of the sea/old port The hotel is an easy walk from the Old Town and the wonderfully pedestrian area with bars restaurants and shops starts right outside the hotel. It is a 15 min flat walk to the New Port if, like us, you are catching a ferry All in all this is a great find. It will be our default hotel for good value overnight stays in Corfu Town.

The room was good, bare bones, nothing fancy but worked for us! The hotel staff were good and helpful for the most part. Not a good hotel if you want to sleep in, every morning there was mound slamming of doors and what sounded like heavy items dropping on the floor making it impossible to sleep past 7 am. Hotel was great location across town. We left our bags at the hotel bag room and one was stolen unfortunately. The hotel staff were good but it would be more useful if they were to lock it and put bag numbers cross referenced

Lovely old building full of character including the lift & fabulous staircase. Spacious double room overlooking the sea with a small balcony. Perfect for a short stay & only 15 minute easy walk to port (wheeling suitcase).& a 5 minute walk to Corfu old town for night time eating:drink. Loved my stay.

Clean, comfomratable and easy to find. Perfect location for a stop overnight after late flight before getting boat to Paxos, and returning - very well located right in front of the taxi rank and some excellent restaurants / bars nearby - will definitly use again for future visits.

Very old hotel. Expensive but this seems to be on par with Corfu rates. I appreciate the historic aspect but it didn’t feel particularly clean or fresh, more like dark and damp with uneven floors. If you remodel the inside, this place could be great given the location.

Stayed for a night, a good place to stop off for a short time near the port. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was a little on the dated side but everything functioned with a strong pressure shower and good air conditioning. For the price I paid I would stay again.

The stay was all right. I’m not really sure why this hotel has such high rating. The location is great. We stayed for two nights and manage to fill our days in the city just by walking. The room was okay. The floors were very uneven. The bathroom was small and not the cleanest. The AC worked well. The view was nice, there’s a restaurant right outside and they played music which we actually appreciated very much.

Great place to stay close to the harbour. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.The hotel is a bit in the years but the room and the bathroom were renovated. Just the carpet seems to be originally but it was clean. The room was nice with a sea view and the bed was comfortable. I arrived before check in time and I appreciated very much that my room was already ready. Around the hotel is the city center with restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Great place to stay.

J'ai dormi une nuit dans cet hôtel. L'emplacement est son plus grand atout ! Situé dans la vieille-ville et près de nombreux restaurants et boutiques, je ne pouvais rêver mieux comme emplacement et la vue est très belle sur la mer ionnienne. La chambre (simple avec vue sur mer) est beaucoup plus petite que ce que je m'attendais, mais ca va pour un voyageur solo. Le principal point négatif est le WIFI !!!! Très (très) mauvaise connexion internet !!! Cela devenait vraiment frustrant !! Je crois également que le prix est beaucoup trop élevé !

Nosey as the windows don’t close properly. Asked for top floor and got 2nd. Carpet in rooms dirty and no kettle in rooms. Ok for a night but music from the restaurant across the road was loud.

Ideal location on outskirts of Corfu Town, so straight into restaurants and shops. Struggled a bit with bed comfort but otherwise friendly staff and great view from window.

Zentrale Lage, charmantes, etwas in die Lage gekommenes Hotel. Bad frisch renoviert, Zimmer allerdings älter und sehr spärlich eingerichtet.

Loved the hotel-the location was fantastic and the room spacious enough for 3 with great views.

Location close to everything. Restaurants all within walking distance. Good size room. Bathroom was small. No shower screen which was a pain when showering as water would end up everywhere even when standing in the corner of shower. Bathroom was new but poorly designed. Hotel itself needs a face lift as everything old. Noisy at night as music playing outside and the windows don't seal properly which allows the noise into room. Light curtains also need changing as with old wooden shutters on window doesn't stop morning light from waking you up early.

This is a wonderful restored antique hotel, and the service is excellent. Maybe the only drawback was the poor WiFi connection. Great for the nostalgia of bygone days.

An old hotel but full of character, clean and comfortable and in a good position for the port. Taxi rank and bus stop right opposite the hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful…we asked if we might leave our luggage next week for a few hours when we come off the ferry and wait on our flight, even though not staying again and the receptionist said of course….so kind!

Lovely old traditional hotel, staff extremely accomodating & helpful. Aircon in room, room overlooking front, no issues with noise. Very easy walking distance from old town, shopping & attractions. We ate downstairs at the restaurant outside and the food was outstanding, no complaints.

Lovely hotel perfectly placed for shops bars and restaurants. Hotel is clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning which was needed during our stay. Plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel in the future.

Very handy for the ferry port and Airport . Only stayed one night as a stop over but staff were very pleasant and helpful, we had comfortable night.

The location is great, only a 100m or so from the ferry port, only a few meters from great bars and restaurants frequented majorly by locals.

Tres bonne situation belle vue sur le port à 2 pas de la vieille ville. Bien que les chambres aient été rafraichi ensemble vieillot, la moquette dans les chambres et couloirs créent une ambiance étouffante. Aucun service de restauration, les chambres pourraient être équipées au moins d'une bouilloire afin de pouvoir se preparer une boisson chaude au reveil le matin. Accueil convenable situé au 1ier étage.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut in der Altstadt und zu Fuß ist alles schnell erreichbar. Wir hatten ein 3-Bettzimmer Zustellbett 90x200 war gut, das Doppelbett war 140 x 200, leider zu klein. Ein schönes renoviertes Bad. Kein Frühstück. Für Kurzaufenthalt wie einen Tag vor Rückflug zu empfehlen

Top Lage, altes Haus mit Charme, nicht ruhig was aber keiner in Korfu Stadt erwarten darf. Die Zimmer sind ok, wer zu hohe Ansprüche hat ist hier fehl am Platze. Absolut empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant vor dem Hotel ist top.

Hôtel idéalement situé pour visiter Corfou et ses environs. Personnel agréable et très serviable. Installations vieillissantes mais très propres. Seul bémol plus de restauration dans l’hôtel depuis le Covid, mais de nombreux restaurants à proximité.

Hotel pres du port. Pratique et non loin du centre ville. Pas de petit dejeuner mais les restaurants à proximité complètent ce manquement. L’hôtel est calme.
