Great hotel in a quiet side street close to Plaza de Armas. Very cozy, you feel like you are in Cusco. Staff was excellent. Only downsides were the bar (its kind of a joke), we wish there was one. And another downside was the spa. We got massages but my masseuse (Jasmin) thought she was a chiropractor as she decided it was a good idea to crack my neck putting me at risk. Spa: please tell your masseuse they should never do that again. Glad nothing serious happened but it could’ve

This is an unusual and fantastic property. The accommodations, level of service and location are all exceptional. The hotel is an adapted 16th century building and the lobby and restaurant are actually in a covered historic courtyard. The food was great and represented the local cuisine well. We stayed there a couple of days to acclimate before heading to Machu Picchu. While we were away, they stored our excess bags. When we returned to spend another night, they remembered us, and a young employee named Lucero not only helped resolve a booking issue she even gave us a free upgraded room. There was a fun bartender named Diego who even remembered what type of drink I enjoyed when we stayed there days before. You could not go wrong by staying there.

Very cool architecture for a hotel, love the lobby. Very close to town square but not right on it so it was a bit more quiet. Very friendly and attentive staff. Liked the convience of having the filtered water bottle filling machine down the hall.

We first got into the Novotel very early in the morning. We were received by this huge patio and colorful seating areas. Our first room had a window that faced the street so we couldn’t open it and our drain didn’t work properly. We informed the management about this and we had already booked another stay in this hotel after our Inca trail hike. We were approached by the manager who apologized and promised a better room and even offered us free breakfast. The breakfast was one of the best we had ever had. Service is impeccable. On our return, we got amazing rooms in the 5th floor with a balcony. The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The staff at the door and luggage were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel also has direct access to a spa for massages. I already miss staying at this hotel as it really felt like home. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Cusco

There were bed bugs in our room. Ended up waking up with bites on ankles and arms. In addition, the room we received had a black stain on the couch and white stains in the bathroom (toothpaste from a previous stay). For a four star property I would not say this is acceptable. The worst thing about this place is the central heat. It’s poorly ventilated and it was hard to sleep through the night as the air was really really dry. Also we requested a room with a view, and were told we would have one but were instead staring at a wall/other rooms.

The hotel has an excellent location—very convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The staff were very friendly, especially the bell guy, who was warm and polite. However, the room was a bit dated, and the bathroom towels were not very clean, which didn’t quite match the price of the hotel.

My daughter and I stayed at Novotel Cusco during a recent trip to Peru. The beautiful lobby atrium is one of the nicest things about this hotel. We had breakfast there (not complimentary) and it was a nice setting. The hotel is in a great location, a few blocks from the city center and the cathedral. It is clean and the employees are all very friendly. The room was a bit of a disappointment. It was a decent size but the lighting was not good and there was no ceiling fan or AC. On a warm September night we had to choose between a warm room or leaving the window open and dealing with noise from the street and alleyway below. For a high end hotel I would have expected a bit more from the room. With other options in town that were better, not sure I would stay here again.

Colonial rooms are nicely decorated, staff was very helpful and sensitive to any need we had. The only problem with Colonial rooms, witch are located one floor above the lobby court, is the noise that's comming either from the lobby or from the adjacent room, since the walls are thin.

Hotel med en fantastisk atmosfære. Vi boede på hotellet ad to omgange før og efter et to-nætters besøg ved Machu Picchu, først i standardværelse og dernæst i colony-værelse. Det sidste er langt at foretrække, da det er større og beliggende i selve den gamle paladsdel, og derfor har langt mere sjæl. Badeværelseborde så små, at der ikke var plads til to små toilettasker, og der hvor de kunne stå, havde man limet servietboks og sæbeskål fast på bordet. Det store overdækkede rum som indeholder både reception, restaurant, bar samt alm. opholdsrum havde en fantastisk atmosfære, og der var altid mennesker i rummet uden det blev larmende. Morgenmaden var rigtig god, selv da vi den ene morgen kom 5 minutter efter lukketid. Her gjorde personalet dog alt hvad de kunne for at sørge for, at vi alligevel fik en rigtig god morgenmad, inkl. at lave en omelet. Måske lidt tidligt at lukke ned for morgenmaden klokken 09.30. Rengøring var upåklagelig. Pga sen ankomst fra MP samt regnvejr spiste vi et par gange i restauranten, og maden var virkelig lækker. Personalet var generelt meget serviceminded og venlige. En speciel tak til receptionen for meget tidlig morgen at skynde sig op på vores værelse, som vi havde tjekket ud fra en halv time tidligere, for at hente en glemt taske, som de hurtigt sendte med en taxa til os i lufthavnen. Desuden ligger hotellet meget centralt og samtidig stille. Kan virkelig anbefales.

The property is close to the main plaza which can easily be reached with a 5 min walk. Rooms are simple but clean and nice-European style. Staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire visit. Beds were nice but very firm-if you like soft beds you may want a different style hotel. But I found them to be comfortable. WiFi is accessible throughout the property and reliable.

We had an excellent stay at Novotel Cusco! The location is unbeatable—just a short stroll from the Plaza de Armas—making it perfect for exploring the city. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Great location and beautiful lobby, but overall a very average experience. Check in is slow, crowded, and paperwork feels endless. Rooms are very small, especially for a family, and decor/design of room is generic. Breakfast was an additional 60 PEN per person, which is excessive and makes you feel a bit ripped off. I understand if breakfast isn’t included, but 60 soles is way too much. Check out is also complicated with refund of deposits and charges and should really just be streamlined. Anyway, it’s still a good option for a convenient location in Cusco, but they could do better.

This property is very nice and close to the main plaza and surrounding areas to eat, shop and explore. The hotel staff are incredible and very friendly. They take care of everything and with a smile. I highly suggest that anyone stay here when visiting Cusco, they deserve more than 5 stars!

We first got into the Novotel very early in the morning. We were received by this huge patio and colorful seating areas. Our first room had a window that faced the street so we couldn’t open it and our drain didn’t work properly. We informed the management about this and we had already booked another stay in this hotel after our Inca trail hike. We were approached by the manager who apologized and promised a better room and even offered us free breakfast. The breakfast was one of the best we had ever had. Service is impeccable. On our return, we got amazing rooms in the 5th floor with a balcony. The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The staff at the door and luggage were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel also has direct access to a spa for massages. I already miss staying at this hotel as it really felt like home. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Cusco

I want to start by mentioning the service-my favorite thing about Hotel Novotel. The staff is very attentive and goes out of their way to help. And they do it very quickly and with a smile. The lobby is beautiful and historic. A lively place to hand out and drink mate which is provided nearly 24 hrs per day. The rooms are fairly basic but large. I had a king room. It had a large desk, refrigerator and coffee/tea bar. The bathroom was nice and had great water pressure, lots of hot water and thick towels. The bed was very comfortable for me. I like a firm mattress which it had. I know some reviewers have complained about noise but I found it very quiet. My room was at the back of the hotel. I didn’t have an opportunity to try the spa or the restaurant so I cannot give any information about that. All in all, I highly recommended Hotel Novotel. It’s a great value!

I absolutely loved the Novotel Cusco! The staff was super friendly, and very helpful. The Novotel is located in the perfect location, quick ride to and from the airport, and a short walk to the main square in Cusco, tons of shopping & dining. Rooms were spacious, quiet, very clean, with extras like a mini bar for purchase. The lobby has a wonderful ambiance with tons of natural light, and the included breakfast was amazing. Most importantly, I felt safe here traveling as a solo female.

Staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire visit. Beds were nice but very firm-if you like soft beds you may want a different style hotel. But I found them to be comfortable. WiFi is accessible throughout the property and reliable.

This hotel is in a great location if you’re looking to stay around the historic center/Plaza de Armas. You can walk easily to many museums, restaurants, and parks. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet and the hotel restaurant are both wonderful.

Beautiful property and super friendly staff!! Loved the experience!! If I would find my way back to Cusco again I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Loved it! Luxurious and colonial looking at the same time! Loved it! The breakfast spread was amazing as well! Couldn’t recommend it enough!
