Situated in the old part of the city gives one easy access to the prettiest area of the city. Love the central patio and the excellent food in the restaurant. Hotel employees are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this property to those planning a trip to Cusco.

Our stay was booked very last minute due to a canceled flight, and having points to cover the cost. Listed in the amenities was a 24 hour airport shuttle service, which was one of the reasons this hotel was chosen, that and the VIP perks listed. We did not receive the VIP perks, and they do not have an airport shuttle. They will arrange a ride for a fee. The hotel is beautiful. The room comfortable, with amenities such as water, coffee/tea maker, shampoo/conditioner and soap. Safe, hairdryer, and usb plug ins. The onsite restaurant was fantastic, as was the included breakfast. The location is close to many tourist spots, within walking distance. Despite the disappointment of the missing items first mentioned, this was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel and staff Two small complaints: 1- they DO NOT have an airport transfer as advertised. 2- we booked here twice (before and after our trip to Machu Picchu) and despite my many years of higher education I was never able to get the tvs in either room to function. I arrived and looked after by Melvin for check-in. He was very helpful, explaining the area, the hotel, and answered some of my questions. The hotel is right behind the Plaza de Armas. The area is safe at all hours. The hotel has a good breakfast for long hours. I got a boxed breakfast the last day as I was going to Machu PIcchu. The courtyard is beautiful and charming; in the evening they set up fire heaters so you can enjoy the night with a drink. i highly recommend it.

The location was perfect---tucked away from the business of city center, yet only 2 blocks away from everything. The service was Impeccable! Every staff member was friendly, helpful and inviting. We enjoyed staying here so much the first week we returned after our trek. In addition, they stored out luggage safely during the trek for free. Food was also, very tasteful and plentiful. Highly recommend.

Our stay was split before and after completing Machu Picchu. The second room was high quality, but the first one had very poor sound insulation, and not as nice as in the pictures. We also used the laundry service, and unfortunately our new shoes were tumble-dried, which changed their color. I would not recommend this service. The hotel still charged us and did not offer an apology. Aside from this, the staff were generally helpful and the rooms were clean.

I and my two sons stayed here for 3 nights prior to our scheduled Inca Trail hike and 1 night after. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located in the historic center of town 2 blocks from the main plaza. Restaurant food was good. Complimentary breakfast was available at 6AM. Rooms were clean and the courtyard was a great place to relax.

Although this hotel is in a great location, close to Plaza de Armas, with great reviews, I cannot recommend this one. Our room was hot, stuffy and smelled very stale like mildew. There were no windows to look out and if you tried to open the one hinged “window” for ventilation, it just opened into a semi-enclosed kitchen exhaust area. The wall unit A/C took about an hour to finally figure out. We asked hotel staff for assistance but the guy just came in and adjusted the remote to make heat come on, then quickly left. A Google search eventually gave us enough info to switch the AC on. Then, when we pulled the covers down to go to bed there, were bugs in one of the beds. To be fair, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t bed bugs- but a beetle which is a bit longer than a bedbug, with pinchers. When I called the desk to request a different room, I was told “No, we do not have any other rooms”. So at 10:30pm, I booked a room at an entirely different hotel and checked out of the Wyndham Costa de Sol. We were immediately charged for the night, upon checkout and I was told that any refund request would have to be done through Hotels.com. Customer service is assisting with that now. I’ve traveled quite a bit and have never had such a bad hotel experience. Still can’t understand all the great reviews for this place!

Unfortunately there was a bug that looked like a bedbug I woke up to in the morning. I squished it and it was full of blood. The hotel staff was really great. They took away my old bedding quickly and washed and dried all my clothes. The room was very clean as was the bsthroom. The hotel is beautiful. The dtaff assured me the bug was a flea, but O don't know how it would have gotten into the room as I only went out to tje pharmacy thw nihht prior.

The staff were exceptionally professional and courteous, going above and beyond my expectations. The rooms were spotless with very comfortable beds, and the hotel was wonderfully quiet, making for a relaxing stay. The food was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The personnel were terrific. The hotel was clean and safe. The hotel buffet breakfast was good, but the dinner food was bland, chalky, and unappetizing. I was sick for 6 days after eating “uncooked” meat. My room was clean but had a horrible smell. My friends room did not smell. I ran air con to be able to ignore smell. But for the most part, it was a great place to stay. Beds were comfortable and place was clean and personnel was friendly.

The amenities of the hotel were nice, including the breakfast buffet. But our room was very poor, the beds were uncomfortable and they put us in room (316) that overlooked the roof fans. The rooms need to be updated terribly, dark wood furniture, old 32 inch TV. The doors do not shut by themselves, you have to make sure they are pulled shut. The breakfast Buffet had a good variety, I thought the food was of good quality. The staff were very helpful and kind. Overall, this hotel is hardly a 4 star. I think I would stay somewhere else if we were to visit Cusco again.

La salle de bain de la chambre pourrait être amélioré, l’insonorisation aussi! Nous sommes restés 2 nuits, la deuxième nuit il y avait une fête à côté qui nous empêchait de dormir et sinon on entend tout les bruits des étages des 4h30 ! Dommage car l’endroit est vraiment sympa et en plein centre

Great property, excellent value, nice staff. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is very good. Location is convenient for all of Cusco attractions. Only issue is that is not that quiet. Soundproofing is poor ... Hard floors are not helpful in the room and the doors are loud. With so many people starting their day early, it is a little annoying. It would be otherwise be a very quiet location.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff make you feel like a VIP. The doors are not well insulated to the sound of guests forcibly closing their doors. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive.

The door on my room didn't lock properly, there is virtually no sound proofing so you can hear everything from out in the hallway and the lifts will keep you awake if you are in the back section of the building. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by the state of the rooms that are in desperate need of a complete refurb.

Nice location that’s close to Plaza de Armas but not right on the plaza which helped it be a bit quieter. We had three separate stays in this hotel in between other activities. The first room we stayed in looked down into their outside dining area. It was a bit noisy in the mornings when breakfast started up. The walls were also somewhat thin and we could hear people clearly in the hallway. The other two rooms didn’t have this problem and were quieter. The property was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. They also stored our luggage for us while we went on a multi day trek.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was located right next to a public walkway, and constant noise from people passing by and car alarms made it extremely difficult to sleep. The facilities were old and poorly maintained. On top of that, the hotel demanded payment for cookies that we neither ate nor even saw. This clearly indicates poor housekeeping, yet the responsibility was unfairly placed on us as guests. What made the situation even worse was that I was forced to write a statement saying that I did not eat the cookies, and three staff members stood there to sign it. It was an incredibly humiliating and degrading experience. I cannot understand how a hotel would treat a guest this way over something as trivial as cookies. Throughout the entire interaction, the staff were unfriendly and did not even attempt to be polite or courteous. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

This has been one of the most comfortable stay and best service I’ve received from a hotel! The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make our stay smooth and pleasant. The building itself is historic and the courtyard is absolutely charming. The view of the plaza from our room was an extra bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was perfect---tucked away from the business of city center, yet only 2 blocks away from everything. The service was Impeccable! Every staff member was friendly, helpful and inviting. We enjoyed staying here so much the first week we returned after our trek. In addition, they stored out luggage safely during the trek for free. Food was also, very tasteful and plentiful. Highly recommend.

The hotel staff were incredibly rude to me when I invited a friend from a different hotel over to plan for our trip the next day to Macchu Picchu. They insisted I could not have anyone in the hotel without them scanning their passport, and said since I only had “1 person” listed on the room that meant that nobody else could ever enter. This is unheard of for any hotel I’ve ever been to across 25 different countries. It seemed very homophobic and disingenuous. Do not recommend that you stay here.

Very convenient location for sightseeing. All major tourist sights are within 10 -15 minutes walk. Very close to Cathedral and main square, however, inside of the hotel is so quiet and calm. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a great court yard to relax. I’ll stay again if I stay in Cusco!

The location is nice (close to Plaza de Arms and lots of good restaurants). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is a good size, very clean. Breakfast is included and a very large selection. I took off one star overall because my room was on the street-facing side and it was very noisy all night with cars honking (make sure you bring earplugs).

The hotel is exceptional in terms of its cleanliness, customer service, and location to main attractions. Yet, it is in very close proximity to the Cathedral. That Bells rings at 0500 and it lasts for an hour. It is disturbing if you are trying to have a good night sleep after a long flight. I mentioned it to the customer service team when I was checking out.

The personnel were terrific. The hotel was clean and safe. The hotel buffet breakfast was good, but the dinner food was bland, chalky, and unappetizing. I was sick for 6 days after eating “uncooked” meat. My room was clean but had a horrible smell. My friends room did not smell. I ran air con to be able to ignore smell. But for the most part, it was a great place to stay. Beds were comfortable and place was clean and personnel was friendly.

We had a great time staying in Wyndham Costa Del Sol. It was our first time to visit Cuzco. The staff were all so nice and friendly. Their buffet breakfast is the best. A lot of choices and you can even order an omelette and fresh squeeze orange juice. We were taken good care of Edwin for our breakfast each day. Richard was also helpful on welcoming us and showing us where to dine and shop. The location is very accessible to city center. Mostly walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Must stay when visiting Cusco, Peru.

- Children under 18 are generally not allowed to stay at properties in Peru without a parent, legal guardian or duly authorized responsible person. - According to Peruvian law, cash is not accepted for payments over PEN 2,000 or USD 500. Payments greater than these amounts must be settled by credit card or other methods approved by the property and local law. Payments cannot be split between currencies.
