War sicher mal ein schönes, großes Hotel. Leider ist das Hotel und entsprechend die Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Update des Mobiliars bzw. der Zimmer würde hier schon genügen. Schöne Bar und Frühstück.

Das Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung nur die Fenster konnte man zum Schlafen nicht offen lassen weil unten eine 3 spurige Hauptstraße war und die ganze Nacht viel Verkehr war. Das Personal die Bar und das Frühstück waren top.

Soweit ok. Bettdecke war zu warm aber man kann auch dünne anfragen wie ich beim check out erst erfahren habe. Wasserkocher leider nicht sauber. Duschkopf ohne Druck und nicht zum Duschen geeignet, hätte eigentlich bei der Reinigung der Dusche auffallen müssen.

The hotel is well placed for those visiting the convention Center however I found the hotel to be very basic. The checkin staff were wonderful and friendly. The rooms themselves were dirty, no amenities apart from a shower cap and the bed was ridiculously soft with no support. The selection of food for breakfast was very limited and not what I would have expected. Would stay here again just because its close but no other reason

Positiv: Sehr gut gelegen, genau gegenüber der Westfalenhallen. Negativ: Ich hatte eine hochwertigere Zimmerkategorie. Diese hat eine verschlossene Durchgangstüre ins Nebenzimmer, die in keinster Weise Schalldicht ist. Man hört jedes geflüsterte Wort vom Nachbarn. Und dieser hört natürlich auch alles mit, wenn man in leiser Lautstärke TV sieht. Das war sehr ärgerlich und ist ein gravierender Minuspunkt, da man keine diskreten Geschäftstelefonate führen kann.

Der Weckruf hat nicht funktioniert. Der Gesamteindruck vom Zimmer ist nicht gut. Im ganzen Raum nur ein Bild und das war völlig deplatziert. Alles sehr lieblos gestaltet. Das Bad ht noch Fliesen der 70ziger Jahre. Badewanne wird als Dusche benutzt, wobei die Trennscheibe undicht war und das Wasser auf den Boden lief. 4* ist für das Hotel zu hoch gegriffen.

Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Sehr zufrieden sind wir mit dem Personal, egal ob an der Rezeption oder in der Lounge. Gebucht haben wir das Dorinthotel weil es wenige Minuten von der Westfalenhalle entfernt ist. Wir sind mit der getroffenen Wahl sehr zufrieden.

Generell ein gutes Haus. Allerdings erwarte ich, dass das Bar-Personal im Gebrauch der verfügbaren Geräte hinreichend eingewiesen ist. Dazu gehört in diesem Bereich natürlich nicht zuletzt die Zapfanlage. Insbesondere, wenn 3 Kellner 5 biertrinkende Gäste bewirten, erwarte ich, dass man des Zapfens kundig ist und sich beim Zapfen Mühe gibt (bei vollem Haus ist das anders) und dem Gast ein gepflegtes Bier serviert - v. a., dass es nicht mehrmals übergelaufen ist. Wenn man dann dem Gast beim freundlichen Hinweis, man müsse dem Bier schon ein wenig Zeit geben und könne es nicht in einem Zug fertigmachen, „not amused“ begegnet und sich untereinander despektierlich über den unzufriedenen Gast äußert (er hat ein gutes Gehör), dann bin ich froh, dass man an der Rezeption Flaschenbier erwerben kann .. Spätestens dann, wenn die Kellner wahrnehmen, dass der Gast auf Flaschenbier ausgewichen ist, wäre es eine Frage der Ehre, zu zeigen, dass man es eben doch drauf hat. Fehlanzeige. Ich bin außerordentlich enttäuscht. Nach 15 Jahren im Aussendienst weiß ich jedoch sehr wohl, dass man in vielen Hotels sehr wohl ein gepflegtes Pils bekommt - auch in Dortmund.

Wenn man dann dem Gast beim freundlichen Hinweis, man müsse dem Bier schon ein wenig Zeit geben und könne es nicht in einem Zug fertigmachen, „not amused“ begegnet und sich untereinander despektierlich über den unzufriedenen Gast äußert (er hat ein gutes Gehör), dann bin ich froh, dass man an der Rezeption Flaschenbier erwerben kann .. Spätestens dann, wenn die Kellner wahrnehmen, dass der Gast auf Flaschenbier ausgewichen ist, wäre es eine Frage der Ehre, zu zeigen, dass man es eben doch drauf hat. Fehlanzeige. Ich bin außerordentlich enttäuscht. Nach 15 Jahren im Aussendienst weiß ich jedoch sehr wohl, dass man in vielen Hotels sehr wohl ein gepflegtes Pils bekommt - auch in Dortmund.

The hotel is well placed for those visiting the convention Center however I found the hotel to be very basic. The checkin staff were wonderful and friendly. The rooms themselves were dirty, no amenities apart from a shower cap and the bed was ridiculously soft with no support. The selection of food for breakfast was very limited and not what I would have expected. Would stay here again just because its close but no other reason

War sicher mal ein schönes, großes Hotel. Leider ist das Hotel und entsprechend die Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Update des Mobiliars bzw. der Zimmer würde hier schon genügen. Schöne Bar und Frühstück.

Es ist 14:45 und im Haus gibt es leider keinen Kaffee. Im Zimmer befindet sich ein kleiner Automat wo man "Kaffee" machen könnte . Der ist leider ungenießbar. Also auf zur Aral ca 300m . Sonst ist alles wie immer ok .

It is a nice hotel, with nice staff and located perfect to Messe Dortmund. Unfuntunatly my room was in a bad condition and I is highly despinted for this - it is not a cheap hotel. The rented me a room with dirt on the floor and on bench for the suitcases. They told me it was makeup, but it look like something else. They did not offer me another room.
