This hotel was great, the staff were nice, the pool closed later than most hotels (11pm), and their reception area looked great. My son loved the hot tub in the pool area. Very relaxing. Breakfast was good, the pork sausages was yummy but they did take a bit to restock the food, but they made it up for their food being delicious. The room was clean, but it did stink both the room and the bathroom. Our room carpet in particular did have what we assume was cigarrate burns. There were only two big towels provided in the room, so if you have more than two people make sure to request for more.

There were many things that went wrong with our stay. First, after we checked in, the restaurant was still open so we decided to order breakfast. Service was slow, the food came out cold and the eggs Benedict was advertised to be on waffles, though they decided to cut the crust off a couple pieces of toast and sneak that under the eggs. Then, when our group decided to go for supper, the pub was not open as advertised online and at the pub door. Apparently we were supposed to know to look at the billboard they had at the front. After waiting until 6, we had to go get our own food and bring it back to the hotel. Once we got back, no one could help us find cutlery. There was house keeping which told us to ask at the restaurant, which was closed. Then they said ask at the front desk but they had a line up for check-in’s that would have taken half hour in line. We ended up eating with our fingers. The hot tub was out of order, though there was a steam room. So we all got in our swimsuits, went in the pool, which was too cold, so we went straight to the steam room, which wasn’t working. Ugh. So instead of swimming, at 10, we changed back into our cloths to go play pool and the pub was closed at 10:20. So all our plans for a night at the hotel was unsuccessful. I made a complaint about it being able to use any of the amenities, I was told I could come back in the morning to speak to the manager. In the morning, they told me rudely that the manager is not in on Sundays.

Spacious room, very good conference facility, very nice hotel. Cons; Food services is a 1/10. When we did get our food (mine came after my wife finished hers), the food was great. An hour 50 minute from ordering and asking for our bill 3x, we left leaving our rm number with others still waiting for their bill. Most order salids and it to 1.25 hrs to come. The previous day, our order simply didn't come after an hr. The breakfast buffet, is a lowest level budget continential and not warm, but cold 3 days in a row. Constantly out of coffee, bread and other items. The conference buffet was the same. Cold, running out and waiting for food items to be replemished. The bar at the conf buffet served warm beer and wine until mid way when they got enough complaints and put the beer and wine on ice. In most part, don't expect much for food 'service' and make plans to eat off site. I wish this was our repeated experiences only, but is shared by many who attended the 3 day event. The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner each day with limited pub seating for the large conf group. Great hotel and conference facility, extremely poor food and food services.

It's in an industrial area so the views is 💩 but mostly this was a great hotel at a great price. Breakfast was above average. Room was beautiful albeit with a few design flaws (AC in the bedroom of suite but sensor in main room, weird wall mounted showerheads that you couldn't turn off, poor lighting near kitchenette sink, saggy hide-a-bed). Nice pool, hot tub and steam room but towels had run out. Hallways were sauna hot!

This hotel was not clean. It is very large but many of the areas are empty and locked making it uninviting. The layout is odd and requires a lot of walking around to get certain elevators. There is a strong smell in the hotel and the hallway of area we stayed at was not temperature controlled. The bathroom was not particularly clean.

I have never been one to complain about a hotel before but this one was really a disappointment. when we first got to the hotel we were welcomed by a moldy, musty scent, dirty floors and carpets and dirty tables in the lobby. All the carpets were well past their life. The steam room and pool area was so dirty, it looked like it was never cleaned with dirt, garbage, clumps of hair and muddy shoe prints on the floor. Now we thought that maybe it was just the middle of the day and maybe it hadn't been cleaned for a few hours but we stayed for two nights and the pool room floors were never cleaned, we checked back multiple times. the carpets were all still visibly dirty with crumbs, there was a dirty sock in the hallway from when we got there until we left, the tables in the lobby, one with a spill of something on it, were never cleaned THE WHOLE TIME!! we went to use the gym equipment and there were no towels and no spray to clean the machines. We stayed in a room with a pull out couch and there wasnt anything in the room to actually make up the bed. When we asked for a pillow they said they were out and when we asked for sheets they said they would see what they could find and bring it up to our room. They never brought anything up. Even in the pool area there were no towels to use. When we brought up our complaints to the manager, he just brushed us off and said someone must have stollen all the towels. WHAT?!?! And that they were under staffed.

Oh my nerves… dirty, old, unsafe. My daughter got an eye infection and when the front desk guy saw her he’s like “oh she went in the pool, didn’t she”. So that’s telling… very weird, methed up people outside. The cigarette things are two next to each door at the entrance. The baggage caddy’s a grimey and don’t even get to the parking lot. Dust in everything in the room. Bath is super weird shaped and hurt my knees because of the ridges. Asked for towels on three separate occasions and never got them. I’d never stay here again.

First of all - this hotel is EXTREMELY dark... the lighting is horrible... First night there was blood all over our sheets (the actual fitted sheet not the comforter). I called front desk to ask for new sheets. When the lady brought us sheets she didn't want to see the blood on the sheets and she made us clean the sheets. Super unprofessional and not friendly. Her response, "You probably dirtied the sheets"... excuse me? The next morning I complained to the front desk. Few hours later management called me (around 1pm) and upgraded us to a suite as he was unable to give us any compensation as we booked through expedia. This was frustrating as we weren't getting in until after midnight and having to leave the next morning.. so we got compensation yet weren't able to enjoy it...

This was a great stay. It’s in an industrial area, but close to highways so it’s fine. The rooms are great and clean and the breakfast is hot and had a great variety. The pool and hot tub area is ok too. The hot tub did the job! My only complaint is that all the lighting is on the dimmer side, so it felt quite dark in the room, in the halls, at breakfast, and all around. I would stay here again, was very happy with it all.

Staff was unprofessional. We tried to check I. With our debit Visa card as we had done before. They argued against me saying they would never accept a visa debit unless we had paid a $250 deposit (which we did not) we were shamed for not having a ‘real’ credit card and questioned for it. When we proved tot he staff that we did indeed use a debit visa they told us that the gentleman who insured us a wonderful and quick check in would be penalized (multiple times this was brought up) they finally allowed us to check in reminding me they would never allow this again without a $250 damage deposit on a $85 room. It was an exhausting health trip made stressful by the desk staff. We won’t stay again. Still waiting on that $100 damage deposit to be e-transfered back to my debit visa as they would not return it back to my card but promised it would be e-transferred right away.

The hotel is located in an area far away from dining options and is not convenient if you do not have a car. The staff was amazing all shifts, they gave great customer service with the resources they have. The hotel looks dated and quite old when it comes to furniture and common areas, but I loved that the rooms have everything you might need. Really appreciate that there is a fridge, a microwave, hair dryer, desk, coffee maker, etc. Housekeeping staff were so nice and kind also, and the breakfast is very good. It was my first time in Edmonton and I had a great time.

I will start with the positives first. Breakfast: great options and a spacious dining area. Good parking in the premises and area feels secure. Exit points are well secured and you cant ride elevator without your room keys. Except another guest lets you in Bed was comfortable. Staff were courteous. Negatives: the carpet needs to be taken off asap. They are very very old, and just changing the flooring will give the hotel a massive facelift. I dont know if all floors are in the same state. I stayed on the 2nd floor and the carpet was worn off. Same also goes with the carpet in the reception and seats in the area. They are worn off and does not give a good first impression of the hotel. The only reason I won't come to this hotel again is if the worn out carpets/flooring renains unchanged. Light in the room was not adequate. Only the bed side lamp provided light in the room. Bathroom/WC was quite small. I wonder how someone with a bigger body frame will cope. In all it was not a bad 2 days stay, but I wont say I got value for the high amount I paid.

When we checked in it seemed our arrival was annoying to the staff. We had driven 5 hours, it was late, and had children with us so I just brushed it off. When ww got to our room ot was nice and large, but there were no sheets or bedding for the second bed. We called to the front desk and they brought sheets tor us to make the bed. When i asked for pillows the attendant told me to take pillows from the other bed. I told her every guest in the room (4) should atleast have a pillow. Her response was if every guest requested pillows they would be out. I was dumbfounded. My husband ended up going to speak with them and a pillow was brought around 10 30 pm by security. Theres a restuarant in the hotel that we all went too. There was a dead fly in my drink, and the excuse was he must have died in the ice. It was never mentioned again and no replacement drink offered. The food wasnt great. We ended up ordering in the rest of the kids tournament. Ive never complained about a hotel before, but considering this was supposed to be on the higher end, and so many other team mates spent money there this weekend, I felt inclined to tell my story. Ive stayed in budget hotels that had better customer service and were cleaner.

The property was beautiful, we found that our room only got cleaned once in our 7 day stay, and the restaurant service was lacking service as there was only one waiter. Breakfast was excellent!!!

It was very far from city centre in an industrial area. There was nothing to walk to. You need to taxi or uber to leave. The room was very basic. They did not provide bottled water. You have to bring your own bottle and fill it up at one of their water fountains. This was very inconvenient. The TV was not a smart TV and I could not watch Netflix or mirror my cell phone to it. The breakfast was subpar. They only had paper plates and cutlery which was terrible. The pub was good.

Great hotel with first two king bed option I have seen in a long time. Premium quality feel. Beds were wonderful to sleep in. Comp breakfast had lots of options and the food was tasty. Will be back!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall, everything was great. The only downside was the breakfast, it was the same items every day, which got too repetitive. But perhaps that’s because I stayed for a month.

Initially, we were told to wait as the room wasn’t ready even though we were there after check-in time. The manager approached after 15 minutes and asked why we were sitting there, apologized and gave us an upgrade to a business class suite. We were very happy with the Room. Clearly it wasn’t busy but we appreciated the gesture. The breakfast is excellent. Good choices and good strong coffee. I recommend.

Pillows were uncomfortable and the room and bathroom in need of renovation. However the worst part was having disposable plates and cutlery for the hot breakfast.
