Room needed a few upgrades. There was no light near the fridge/coffee area. Even during the day it was a dark corner. AC was hard to control. Balcony rooms have beautiful view however VERY noisy. Pool and hot tub didn't open until 10am. We would have enjoyed an 8am hotter before we showered for the day.

Excellent staff, they are all friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great, the beds are comfortable, and we love the location. We’ve stayed here a few times now and have always had a good experience. However, this time the hot tub wasn’t clean and had an unpleasant smell. Hopefully, that’s just a one-time issue, as we really enjoy staying here overall.

Elevator not working. Staff was good, offered to carry bags upstairs. Nice room, with balcony. Pub on site had good food, try the brownie, it was exceptional. Breakfast at this time of year was fresh cooked bacon & eggs, toast etc. couldn’t asked for anythg better from hotel. Hope they get the elevator fixed soon🙂

However, the whole place smells like chlorine because of the indoor pool and hot tub, and the rooms open into the pool and lobby area instead of a hallway, which doesn’t feel very private. All in all it’s a nice place to stay, but it’s over-priced for what you’re getting.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Required pet friendly accommodations and they exceeded expectations. The foyer is bright, lots of cozy sitting areas where we could sit with our dog, who thought he was the official greeter for guests. Room was comfortable and clean. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. And price was very reasonable.

This hotel is extremely clean, you see so many staff cleaning at all times. Beautiful pool area, large updated room, balcony with beautiful view and the free hot breakfast was better than most! Easy short walk to downtown. The only downfall is the loud highway in front of the hotel that disturbs relaxing and enjoying the amazing views from your deck. Other than that a complete 10/10

Great check in experience, our daytime plan was cut short due to the pouring rain and we were welcomed in long before our check in time. The room was very spacious with an awesome fireplace to warm up and dry off in the large living area, the dining area with large table and a small kitchen to put together a hot meal was Exactly what we needed. Bed, bathroom, kitchen, everything was spotless. Great place to spend a rainy afternoon and night in, would recommend 10/10

The room was clean, everything was in good working order, and was comfortable. the bed was very comfortable. The room was older with a mishmash of styles and finished from random updates. The hotel light outside our window at night (Room 321) was visible even with the blackout curtains. The hot breakfast was tasty with good coffee and wonderful service. Internet service in the room was very poor.

Room we were in was not at all like picture Expedia had featured for our selected room....deluxe king with balcony. Balcony was not clean or furnished like the picture showed. There were no chairs and covered in black dirt. Room was over the pub so very noisy at bed time. Disappointing!!

When we arrived around 9:30 pm, the attendant at the desk at first could not find our reservation, then when he did he said that we were booked for August 17 and not August 15. When I clearly had it on my reservation for August 15. They then went into the back office to check the computer and finally found our reservation and told us "we do have room for you." Unfortunately, it was not the king size bed that I had reserved, it was two queen beds. The room was huge, the bathroom was very big, compared to any other hotel rooms we have ever stayed.in. The bed was comfy, the breakfast fairly nice for a continental breakfast. Overall it was a very nice hotel and a very nice stay.

The staff was great! We also received a lovely bottle of wine from Dorian due to our Anniversary falling on the day we arrived. Very considerate. Great room, clean, wonderful view. A little noisy being on the highway but with windows closed at nite it was fine. Overall a great stay.

This was a very nice place to stay. The breakfast was superior to most hotel offerings. It was easy to walk to the center of town. Request a room on the back of the hotel to avoid the highway noise.

Nice next time I would want a balcony one at the time of booking that is what I thought I was getting. The French toast was like leather and the breakfast wasn’t very warm. They need to keep the warmers below going which they were all off. But the stay was very good.

Great lodge! Room was nicely appointed and staff was terrific. Our room included breakfast which was not like most, you were provided a menu with several options including eggs Benedict and other standard breakfast faire. There was fresh fruit and other items available. The server was very attentive and engaging. We really enjoyed our stay!

The walls and ceilings are not well insulated from noise. You could hear the guests above us - every step they took echoed into our room below. The “included breakfast” was like dog food. We showed up at 7:15am (15 mins after it opens) and the food was all cold and just gross. I will not go back.
