Sehr professionell funktionierendes Hotel mit kostenlosem Flughafen-Shuttle keine 10 min Fahrtweg von Terminal 1 entfernt. Mietwagen durfte während des Ausladens vor der Tür stehen bleiben. Check-In dauerte keine 5 min. Sehr freundliches Personal! Pool/Sauna/Gym im 9.Stock mit tollen Blick auf den Flughafen. Frühstück unbedingt zu empfehlen. Shuttle fährt alle 20 min vom Hotel ab. Ideales Hotel um stressfrei abzufliegen, anzukommen oder in Frankfurt umzusteigen.

Airport Shuttle was timely and fantastic to have available 24/7. Breakfast was not free though affordable, delicious and had a wonderful variety of items. Dinner restaurant fun and yummy with great drinks and main course choices. Spa and pool area aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. Massage highly recommended. All Staff were kind and helpful. There were some plumbing issues in an otherwise clean room necessitating a room change. This was handled pretty seamlessly. Overall a wonderful experience.

Overall this is a very nice hotel. Great room. However, it needs some remodel. Also the swimming pool is way too cold. Has green algae. Elevators were not working in some of the areas. Other than that we liked it.

Elevator to 9th floor not working. I had to drag a heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs. Very unfortunate late in the evening. I had an early flight to catch in the morning and barely slept worrying about how to come down if the elevator was still not working.

Everything was wonderful re: this stay. The room was beautiful with a comfy bed and nice hot shower; the staff were kind and helpful; the breakfast was delicious; the bar drinks were fun and food very tasty; and the pool and spa area great for exercise and relaxation. The 24/7 shuttle to/from the airport is very helpful too.

The Steigenberger is a strong hotel, with good room options. The breakfast was good and seemed very popular. The gym could be a little bit bigger but it's a nice service. The steam room has always been broken when I visit the property and this year was the same. The sauna area is very nice, it could use a cold plunge.

This is certainly not what we were expecting for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast selection and food quality was terrible and the staff greeting us were extremely rude! The pool was closed so couldn’t use it. I also woke up with bites on my legs which I can only assume are bed bugs so it’s safe to say we will NOT be staying here again!!!

I was placed in a room with non-working air conditioner. I suspect the hotel knew of the problem because a service person showed up at my door five minutes after I arrived to my room without me calling them. I had to repack some luggage and move to another room. I spent about 2 hrs of my time doing so. The hotel offered no compensation as a professional courtesy.

Very fast checkin, quiet hotel, room was spacious, beds were very comfortable. In room coffee machine had tasty European coffee & espresso pods, plus REAL cream. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The free shuttle to Frankfurt airport runs 24 hours a day and made it very convenient to get to/from hotel. Terrific attention to detail made for an excellent stay.

We paid the city tax at check in. We didn’t get a receipt they then tried to charge us again at check out and we’re not very friendly. The front desk staff didn’t know how to use the voucher. The room was darkly lit with limited privacy in the bathroom. Not a great experience.

Nice and quiet - although very close to FRA, we never heard any planes take off or land. Our room was immaculate! Comfortable bed and nice amenities in the bathroom, although the shower drain was a bit sluggish. Excellent breakfast buffet was offered, and the shuttle bus to FRA left every twenty minutes. We will definitely stay here in the future.

3rd time I've been here. I always get a room upgrade. However, seems like there's non-existent AC. There's a thermostat but it does little. It's just hot and sometimes stifling. And this has occurred at every stay.

This was not a smooth stay after a long day of travel to get there. Initially I was told they could not find our reservation after waiting in a Check in line over 15 minutes. I told her I checked in ahead online through the link provided. She told me “impossible”. Then she found it. The room only had 2 towels and no robes, even though we are a family of 4 that stayed in a suite. The pull out bed had spring that squeaked every time a person rolled over. The coffee maker did not work. There is a window into the bathrooom??? Isn’t that where someone wants privacy? Breakfast staff was rude. The evening restaurant waitress was the only staff that I would say was “Friendly”. Had to go back down to ask the desk in a very long line for the internet code. Only 2 people working the desk. Pool was nice and refreshing.

Decent heat only in morning; too cold to take evening shower and had to sleep in sweatshirt. Reception staff too busy with airline crew check-ins to ever answer phone. I think airline crews are their main customers, and they don't have time to deal with one-time visitors If you want a question answered in evening -- like how to find an English-speaking TV program -- you have to wait in line behind check-ins to get an answer. I didn't bother. No answer from housekeeping either, when they forgot to leave coffee pods in my room, or leave soap by bathroom sink (only two bottles of shampoo). Reception said they'd get the coffee for me, but it never happened. I couldn't get internet to work either, but that might have been because I didn't agree to sign up for their hotel membership program. Room was small, but on the plus side,clean, and nice swimming pool, but too busy in evening for me to use. Free round-the-clock shuttle to airport was also a plus. All in all, however, one of my least pleasant hotel experiences in a long time.

There were a couple of slightly annoying things this time around. At time of check-in, we must have timed this very badly as there was a massive queue all trying to register at the same time and just not enough staff. (some conference on or something like this!). Secondly the main restaurant (during the middle of the Heimtextil fair was closed - this seemed a bit unusual or was it because the conference required all kitchen staff?? Other than these two points - hotel was clinical / good.

Gegen 22:00 Uhr im Hotel angekommen, Freundlicher unkomplizierter Empfang an der Rezeption. Noch ein schnelles Abendessen bekommen mit freundlichen Service. Dann im Zimmer festgestellt, daß sich das Licht nicht ausschalten lässt, weil der Tastschalter der LED-Ambiente-Hauptbeleuchtung defekt ist. Telefonischer Versuch die Rezeption zu erreichen. Keine Antwort. Nach vielen Versuchen, wieder angekleidet, runter zur Rezeption und Versuch einer hoffnungslos ungeeigneten und überforderten Rezeptionistin (zwischzeitlich wohl Schichtwechsel) das Problem zu schildern. Original Antwort: "Ich kann jetzt nicht, Sie sehen ja was hier los ist." Es waren 14 Menschen in der Lobby (bei einem Hotel mit über 500 Zimmern). 2. Versuch mit dem dringenden Hinweis, daß der Schlaf notwendig ist, weil am nächsten Tag... Naja... Es gibt Menschen, die bei der Arbeit ausgeschlafen und konzentriert sein müssen (2 Herz-OPs bei Kleinkindern). 3. Versuch, sich irgendeinen Beschäftigten geschnappt, der wirklich sehr nett war, sich das Zimmer und Schalter angeschaut hat, wollte sich darum kümmern, muss das aber mit dem Night manager klären. Nichts ist passiert. Wäre es eine Leuchte mit Glühlampe gewesen, hätte ich einfach die Glühbirne rausgeschraubt. Aber die verbauten LED-Stripes rauszureißen ist doof. Gegen 4Uhr dann die Schlüsselkarte gezogen, damit war das Zimmer zwar dunkel, aber ich konnte keine Geräte laden, bzw. die Lüftung/Klimaanlage war auch aus = Stickige Luft. Fazit = Schlimme Nacht!

A few little hiccups. The overhead bed light did not seem to work. The pant hanger clamping did not work. Please get rid of the muzak in the corridors and at breakfast. The dinner from the bar was very acceptable. The breakfast was very acceptable. Fine bed. The shuttle from and to the airport was a real help.

Loved this hotel, very busy when we there due to flight cancellations. Staff remained wonderful despite the extra pressure. Restaurants great, rooms clean and well appointed. Free regular shuttle to the airport, can’t think of any areas of improvement.

Would have been 5 stars but 2 things, 1 not really much located close to the hotel and dining options are limited though food was good quality. Airport shuttle very convenient. 2nd issue was getting extra towels took multiple requests and some of the front desk staff seem a little rude.

dorénavant je dors dans cet hotel chaque fois que je passe par Franckfurt. Leur restaurant traditionel (ouvert du lundi au jeudi soir -a mon plus grand regret lors de mes sejours du vendredi au dimanche) est aussi excellent.
