Hotel Münchner Hof - Frankfurt Central

There was a lot of people openly taking drugs around the hotel entrance. The hotel was relatively clean in the room. The curtains were broken and hanging off the rod. The room was stifling hot, with only a dusty fan to cool the room. The tv did not work. I would never recommend this hotel.

Auf den ersten Blick sauberes, günstiges Zimmer (Nr. 45) in gutem Zustand. Safe zu klein für Laptop. Für die Bahnhofsgegend überdurchschnittlich. Aber: ACHTUNG; BETTWANZEN!!! Ich bin total zerstochen und habe Panik, Insekten/Eier in meinem Koffer nach Hause mitzunehmen! Nachts Wechsel in ein nicht befallenes Zimmer in der 2. Etage.

Haare im Bett, Schimmel im Bad, allgemein sehr schlechte Sauberkeit. Fernseher funktioniert nicht.

Bien situé près de la gare, du tram et des taxis, quartier très vivant, beaucoup de bars et restaurants. Mais très bruyant. Pas de Clim dans la chambre. Personnel à l’accueil très sympa.

Placering ved banegården og prisen var årsagen til at vi valgte dette hotel. Meget slidte værelser, men når man kun skal sove og være der i 10 timer, så betyder det ikke noget. Tidligere anmeldelser af sur gammel receptionist, kan vi ikke genkende. Vi oplevede 2 “gamle” receptionister 😀 og de var flinke og servicemindede. Gaden er en festgade bed alle typer af folk. Derfor var det ikke muligt med åben vindue, hvilket betød meget varme. Men en blæser hjalp på det.

Inside room switches are not properly fixed and locker is not working, washbasin is quite small difficult to use it.Rest staff is good. Property is safe and easy acess.

La localisation est bien car il est tout près de la gare. Le service est bien et ils ont été super pour garder nos valises après notre checkout. Après, la rue est assez bruyant, notre chambre laissait à désirer, et l'ascenseur n'en parlons pas. C'est okay, mais un bon coup de neuf à l'hôtel lui fera beaucoup de bien. A commencer par des fenêtres plus épaisses. Après le prix de la chambre est honnête en termes d'emplacement.

Very basic. Bed is clean. Shower is clean. Neighbours were noisy. Very bad area. Drugs and other elements all around property. I always stay as close as possible to the train station for reasons of transportation. I will stay further away from now on.

The hotel was disgusting, the entrance was filthy, room we were allocated had door handle hanging off it looked like someone had tried to gain access. The room was filthy, fridge door had a line of thick debris, curtains were hanging off, chair was in a poor state of repair, table was dirty and had been repaired with tacks and surface had numerous uneven places where material had been worn away. On speaking to the manager he gave us another room although that was slightly better someone had been smoking in it and everything smelt of smoke, one of us has asthma so this was not acceptable. The area surrounding the hotel is full of homeless people who pestered everyone for food and money the area was not safe. We eventually booked into another hotel at a cost of 500€ The manager did offer alternative accommodation after we had booked another ourselves, the alternative was the same poor quality and in the same area. I have taken pictures of inside the room and will be happy to forward them. We have used Expedia many times and this is the first time we have had to complain but you need to look at this property IMMEDIATELY.

Dirty, outdated, cramped and the area is awful

Clean and tidy room, fresh towels daily, polite and friendly staff. A very pleasant stay, thank you :)

Ich habe das Zimmer als Nichtraucherunterkunft gebucht. Leider hat das gesamte Zimmer extrem nach Zigarettequalm gestunken, was die Nacht über meine Atemwege reizte. Das Bad war zwar sauber, aber hat extrem verraucht gerochen, ebenso, wie die Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Alles schien gewaschen, aber versmoggt. Trotz weit geöffnetem Fenster mit Frischluft, musste die Übernachtung daher vorzeitg beenden.

I had a very dirty towel, I discovered that after using it after shower.. it was all dirty, I had to shower twice after using it and still had disgusting feelings.. I told the management and didn’t bother themselves of saying sorry or offering anything..I have photos of the dirty towels

Heel aardig personeel, maar hotel is oud. Ook een kakerlak gezien in het trap huis.

El hotel esta bastante bien hubicado, el cuarto cumplió con su objetivo, el colcho duro para mi gusto

Hotel pequeño y camuflado a una calle de la estación central. Llegamos hasta él después de que el aeropuerto nos hiciese perder el vuelo. Lo buscamos de emergencia y encontramos este, el más barato de todos (41€/noche). El hombre de las noches apenas hablaba inglés y tampoco se esforzaba. La cara de rancio le podía. Pese a todo hay que decir que las habitaciones estaban bien equipadas (incluso había un ventilador de pie para paliar el calor), aunque había señales de desgaste y baño reformado, los pasillos no acompañan, parecen de cárcel. No os asustéis. Es más que recomendable para pasar una o dos noches si vas de paso.

The staff did their best, the room was OK but overlooking the noisy street. This area has declined to the extent that it felt more like north Africa than Germany. Lots of police activity during day and night. I would not go back but that is not the fault of the hotel, it is a result of the disastrous EU migration situation.

Es war sehr günstig, in einer guten Lage und das Personal war freundlich. Als Minuspunkte muss man die recht dünnen Wände und lauten Nachbarn sehen

Bad customer service. Poor quality. They insisted check out is 11am but it's clearly stated in expedia 11:30

Unless you have to stay in the worse area of Frankfurt, right next to the Red Light district, I would pick somewhere else. You can find much nicer hotels in the surrounding area. Plus this hotel customer service is non-existent. Don't try to call or email them.

Das Münchener Hof Hotel hat mir besser als erwartet zugesagt. Der sehr freundliche Empfang an der Rezeption, sauberes Zimmer und Bad und ein bequemes Bett. Was braucht man mehr? Ich werde es sicherlich wieder wählen, wenn ich in Frankfurt bin.

Close to central station but the area is horrible, dirty and noisy! Hotel itself was ok, you pay for what you get. Not sure how it’s a 3 star hotel though.

The hotel‘s conditions are not so good and the area around is one of the worst in Frankfurt.

Inacceptable de classer un tel hotel à 3 étoiles, ni même de le proposer. Pour quelqu'un ne connaissant pas Francfort, j'ai fait confiance à hôtels.com. erreur. Rue jonchée de détritus, police qui intervient à 21h30 dans la rue, hotel juste propre ( Mais literie acceptable). J'ai du prendre en catastrophe un 2eme hôtel (mercure même prix, mais parfait et en cohérence avec son prix et son classement)

Basic hotel, great location very close to the station. Ideal for arriving late, sleeping and leaving early.

In general it is okay, very close to train station. Except the street noise is pretty bad. It is in a busy area, the noise is non-stop.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, immer bereit, bei Fragen oder Wünschen zu helfen. Mein Zimmer war sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel, mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Besonders hat mir das reichhaltige Frühstück gefallen – die Auswahl war groß, und alles war frisch und lecker. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, nah an den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber trotzdem ruhig und entspannend. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!
