This property was great. The staff was friendly and kind. Due to a family emergency we had to cut out stay short and treatwd us with kindness. The only downside is the broken elevator made it hard to bring luggage from the parking garage.

I couldn't get the hot tub to work. I moved the dial on the wall, but no bubbles. It was hot, the pool was warm, and the sauna worked. Breakfast was included with the room, which was a pleasant surprise! The staff are very nice!

Noisy hall ways at night that could be heard in rooms. Doors slam very loudly. Gio food was not up to great and very expensive. Sink in bathroom too small, tub has mold in corners. Staff was exceptional, wonderful, cheerful, and helpful.

I noticed a dirty soap dish when i entered,everyday it was there,it was still there the day we left, the bed was quite uncomfortable , one night i took the bedding off, the bottom sheet was a huge bunch of wrinkles, I’ve never seen anything like it, not the kind of wrinkles you can shake out, like it was rolled into a big ball and left to dry like that ! Somebody wasn’t doing a good job.

We had a lovely stay at the Prince George Hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was very convenient. We could easily walk to the Halifax Harbourfront and many different restaurants. There were a couple of downfalls - we found old food stuck to the carpet in our room that I had to pick up. There was also no fan in the bathroom. Overall, we recommend the Prince George Hotel.

The walk to the waterfront is down (and then back up) a pretty steep hill so folks with mobility challenges may find it difficult. Fortunately, you can take an alternate route walking a bit south and then east to the water.

The staff went above and beyond, the room was well appointed, and valet parking was convenient. Also, my teenager has celiac disease and this is one of the only hotels we've stayed in HRM that offered safe food options (and has a separate fryer for GF items). I will absolutely stay here again.

Staff were wonderful as always! It was really nice to be welcomed back specifically when we were checking in having stayed at the property a few weeks ago. That little acknowledgement is what makes the Prince George special. Staff always find opportunities to make sure guests feel valued. Shout out to Kay for being awesome!

Our stay here was a pleasure. Everyone was cheerful and accomodating every step of the way. The place is lively. When our in-room coffee maker stopped working at 6:30 in the morning, there was a brand new one up and running within a few minutes. Special shout out to concierges Raoul and Andy - they were so helpful and gave great suggestions for where to eat and what to do.

Our stay here was a pleasure. Everyone was cheerful and accomodating every step of the way. The place is lively. Great pool and sauna. Great breakfast but would have been nice to have some toast with breakfast. Brilliant staff everywhere, who were very helpful indeed. Only downside was two glasses of Prosseco costing $34.50 during happy hour! Otherwise 10/10.

We stay here regularly and have 4 more stays this year. (8 nights)The room is very comfortable and quiet and the staff are attentive & excellent. The area to work on is the Breakfast buffet. This is the second time we have been greeted to subpar food from the old sausages (some were uncuttable) to warm stale potatoes. The thick chewy bacon we avoid as well. The breakfast staff are exceptional & dealt with our concerns best they could. We will avoid the breakfast buffet in the future. We lost power in the room on the final morning so that was an inconvenience as well. (gave us a free night parking to compensate)😃 Having said that we will still be back as the good outweighs the not so good in many ways. We were also told at check in because we book through Expedia that upgrades are unavailable. Booking direct with Prince George is the way to go apparently. In my opinion loyalty to a hotel should receive some benefits regardless of how it is booked.

We lost power in the room on the final morning so that was an inconvenience as well. (gave us a free night parking to compensate)😃 Having said that we will still be back as the good outweighs the not so good in many ways. We were also told at check in because we book through Expedia that upgrades are unavailable. Booking direct with Prince George is the way to go apparently. In my opinion loyalty to a hotel should receive some benefits regardless of how it is booked.

The hotel staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed the extras that were offered with Crown Service. The breakfast buffet had high quality offerings: the chia seed pudding was a tasty discovery. Anna stood out as a fine server. Dining at Gio was an exceptional treasure as a hotel restaurant. This comfortable hotel contributed greatly to our wonderful stay in Halifax.

The staff went above and beyond, the room was well appointed, and valet parking was convenient. Also, my teenager has celiac disease and this is one of the only hotels we've stayed in HRM that offered safe food options (and has a separate fryer for GF items). I will absolutely stay here again.

The location was great, and although it was an upgraded room, the condition was very good. However, the breakfast was not very tasty, and the food at the hotel restaurant was too salty. Aside from the food, I was satisfied with everything else.

All staff in every department were excellent. Housekeeping very responsive. Gio restaurant top notch. Breakfast were great. Happy hour at the bar was it a bargain, and the seating, food and prices were wonderful. Great central location

Our stay was fabulous. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and happy. Rooms were a good size (two adults + two kids), clean and the beds were comfortable. We faced Grafton St and did not hear any street noise. For dining, we had the breakfast buffet, food and drink service from the bar on the patio and room service. Everything was great. Hotel was a very short walk to the waterfront which was convenient. Our kids loved the pool. The pool deck can be very hot though. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know and would stay here for our next trip to Halifax!

Stayed for three nights and can’t imagine finding a better place to explore Halifax. Location to the Citidel and Public Gardens on one side and harbor shops and restaurants on the other was perfect. The room was very clear, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the overall vibe modern without being pretentious. The parking garage was very convenient but be prepared for some tight turns! We had a little bit of late night noise from the nearby bars on the Saturday night but that’s to be expected with a city stay.
