This hotel is elegant and nice, accommodating staff, lovely, spacious rooms and bathrooms, nice pool area as well. When I’m only giving three stars then it is due to three things: Parrots in a very small cage, I found that heartbreaking and unnecessary, location is good but a bit far from the city centre if you want to walk and last thing is the breakfast buffet - it is lovely but limited options for vegans. Overall I would recommend this hotel but would personally not choose it again.

Great location, excellent service all around, Very good italian restaurant in the hotel, nice Breakfast buffet, and very kind staff. So all in all a very good experience. The only thing that could be better is the GYM which is very small and the parking under the hotel which is rather expensive for Germany, but that is minor

Everything was perfect - except the water in the swimming pool - and the temperature in the swimming pool area - who was both freezing cold (and this doesn't motivate you to stay and read a book, take a nap or visit the bar etc.).

This is a fabulous place. Luxury everywhere. The room was large and light with quality fixtures and fittings and the rooftop bar is splendid. Breakfast was worth it and the swimming pool was very relaxing. The only place we'll stay in Hamburg.

uitstekend hotel in de hogere prijsklasse naast treinstation Dammtor en de Messe. Grote kamer; goed bed. airco/verwarming; maar raam kan open dus frisse lucht bij het slapen. sanitaire ruimte groot en schoon. Alles in uitstekende staat. In het hotel 3 goed betaalbare restaurants; veel gezelligheid in de lobby/bar. ook een goede welness; met zwembad ; twee sauna's (van 65 en 90 graden) en stoombad die helaas al om 22.00 uur sluiten. ook een fitness ruimte. Op de kamer badjas en weggooislippers. je moet ook nog een toeristenbelasting van afrekenen bij het hotel; dat zit niet inbegrepen in je boeking.

Wir haben ein sehr grosses Zimmer bekommen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauper und gepflegt. Der Spa Bereich ist sehr großzügig und schön. Wermutstropfen hier ist, dass Kinder nur von 9-12 und 15-18 hineindürfen, was aber vom Hotel noch vor Ablauf des Stornozeitraums klar kommuniziert worden ist. Frühstück sehr umfangreich. Parkgarage vorhanden, aber wir hatten kein Problem kostenfreie Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nöhe zu finden. Kare Empfehlung!

Das Zimmer an sich war ordentlich und gut. Sauber und alles soweit gut. Leider ist das Zimmer aber in den 90 jahren stehen geblieben und nicht mehr so zeitgemäß wie es man erwarten kann im 5 Sterne Hotel. Trotzdem alles soweit ok

I went to conference and the hotel was close by. It’s located near everything central in Hamburg. The valet service is comprehensive and front of house staff are very attentive in regards to taking care of taxis and welcoming you to the hotel. Check in staff are all friendly and fun. The rooms are very European and basic styling but they are generously proportioned and well cleaned. In fact, the cleanliness was very high. This is a good hotel, it won’t disappoint.

In einem 5 – Sternehotel, darf es nicht passieren, dass ein Bad nicht ausreichend gereinigt ist. An der Toilettenbrille fanden sich noch deutliche Spuren vom vorherigen Gast. Beim Checkout wurde zwar gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Bei der Erwähnung wurde aber überhaupt nicht darauf reagiert, sondern lediglich die Rechnung präsentiert.

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war hervorragend!! Im Badezimmer z. B. hätten Sie als Gast vom Fussboden essen können, so sauber war es dort! Klasse!!! Da können sich so manche andere Hotels eine Scheibe von abschneiden. Weiter so!

A hotel without AC. Everything else is nice. So if you can sleep in 25 degree's, it's fine. The Brasserie needs to improve. Lobster soup did not taste as a Lobster soup. Neither the 38 Euro steak was tender. But parking, location roof terrace and the room is nice

I found this property to be underwhelming for the price. The air conditioning didn't work and I had to get a stand up fan for the whole stay. The room was dated. I don't like how the doors open outwards and feel that is a bit of a security issue especially for women staying on their own. The bedding was very ordinary with just a bottom sheet and comforter..no other sheet. The gym was tiny and often crowded. The spa's looked beautiful but feel some of that space could be better dedicated to a slightly bigger workout facility. The breakfast that was included was nice. The service at the eateries was hit and miss. No one wanted to make an attempt to communicate in English. I think the staff should have the basics. The steak in the steak house is priced per 100grams and if you don't notice it on the menu before you walk in you can end up overpaying than what you had originally planned. I thought having to pay for the coffee in gym was unreasonable. I like to have a cup before I work out in the morning and before I hit breakfast and had to pay for it. Whereas had I had breakfast before my workout, coffee would have been unlimited. I just don't feel there is value nor would I say this is a 5 star hotel. I would rate it as a 4 star perhaps that needs a renovation. I will be staying at another hotel next year.

Die Betten sind wunderbar groß und man kann sehr gut schlafen. Die Zimmer sind hervorragend leise und der Roomservice sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann auch gut mit Kindern anreisen und den Pool Bereich von 9-12 Uhr genießen. Eine Empfehlung wert!

Wir waren mehrfach im Elysee, sind aber dieses Mal wirklich enttäuscht worden. Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht und selbst Anrufe beim Hausservice haben nichts gebracht. Aufgrund der Lautstärke draußen konnte das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden, so dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Abends och einen Kaffee zu bekommen ist scheinbar unmöglich. Die Maschine war bereits gereinigt. Merkwürdig... über den Roomservice (natürlich mit Aufschlag) wäre das möglich gewesen. Wir werden eine Elysee-Pause einlegen und hoffen, dass es wieder besser wird!!

Rundum zufrieden mit kleinem Abstrich Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die unglaublich netten und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter – ganz gleich ob an der Rezeption oder beim Frühstück. Der Herr mit dem südamerikanischen Namen (leider ist er uns nicht mehr genau bekannt) war einfach toll – aufmerksam, freundlich und stets gut gelaunt. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war allerdings eine Mitarbeiterin in der Brasserie, die im Vergleich eher kühl und unfreundlich wirkte. Wir waren dort zum Mittagessen, leider fiel sie negativ auf. Das passte leider nicht zum ansonsten durchweg positiven Gesamteindruck des Hauses.

Hotellet ligger vid en trevlig park i ett område som är mer av bostadskvarter - ett mycket trevligt område. Det finns ett stort museum i närheten (Etnografiska) men det ligger några få minuters promenad från S-bahn (Dammtor) och U-bahn (Stephansplatz) så det är väldigt smidigt att ta sig överallt. Hotellet är rent och snyggt - jag kan rekommendera ett rum mot parken. Det finns en fin takbar och ett bra SPA med en mindre simbassäng. Frukosten var jättebra och personalen trevlig och hjälpsam.

Die Lage ist ziemlich zentral. Die Außenalster ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt, der Bahnhof "Dammtor" ebenfalls und die Binnenalster (Innenstadt) ca. 10 Minuten. Der Haupteingang ist etwas versteckt, wenn per Zug oder S-Bahn angereist wird. Aber der Eingang zum Großen Festsaal führt auch in die Lobby bzw. die Rezeption Der Pool ist angenehm groß und hat extra Zeiten für Familien mit Kindern, was für Schwimmende, die es ruhiger mögen, natürlich sensationell ist. Die Saunalandschaft umfasst drei oder vier unterschiedliche Saunen mit zahlreichen Liege- und Ruhebereichen. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit - alle. Ich hatte Bargeld und Geldkarten zuhause vergessen und das Hotel half mir mit der Auszahlung von Geld (Kreditkarte war durch Buchung hinterlegt) aus. Ich habe mich in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Men morgenmaden, den er lækker buffeten er god, det går galt der hvor kokken 1 mand står og laver æg, køen (og den er i perioder ret lang) spærre for brød, det er ikke muligt at tage bacon og pølser, tænker også det må være irriterende for personale de skal masse sig igennem køen hver gang de skal i køkkenet.

Glimrende hotel - men morgensmads situationen skal de arbejde med - kvaliteten er egentlig glimrende men de har ikke kapaciteten. 20-30 minutters kø for at komme ind til morgensmaden 2 dage i streg - vente 45 min på kaffe efter at have bestilt og rykket 5 gange - bliver nok udslagsgivende til at vi finder et andet hotel næste år

This hotel is really lovely and they have 3 restaurants. I ate 2 meals at the French restaurant and it was fantastic. The VIP perks offered 30 euros off in the restaurant plus a 1/2 bottle of champagne! They really know how to treat Expedia guests well! I highly recommend this hotel.
