Beautiful haveli style hotel. Room was nice and spacious with modern bathroom. Very clean. Always someone cleaning somewhere. Staff were lovely. Pool was nice after very hot days in Jaipur. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate. Dinner was lovely with Rajhastani music, singing and dancing.

Skulle gärna ge 6 stjärnor för servicen. Även rummen - stora och fint inredda med mycket marmor. AC och takfläkt mm. Indisk stil i hög klass. Poolen inte så mycket att skryta med - mindre än på bilderna men duger för ett dopp efter shoppingen i bazarerna. Rekommenderas starkt !

This hotel is, without a doubt, beautiful. there is a sense of quiet tranquility throughout, and the room was large and well-apportioned. The roof-top restaurant provides an excellent view across parts of the city, the menu is quite good and has a wide range of veg and Non-Veg options. There are taxis and tuk-tuks outside the hotel that can get you around to the sights with ease.

A very nice heritage style hotel. They had a rooftop restaurant with live entertainment which was enjoyable. Service was fine also. Only downfall was the changing room for swimming pool (not really indoor) was just a shared toilet not in good condition so did not use. Also one of our friends saw a rat at breakfast!

An excellent hotel with a tasty recreation of the classic Haveli style of art and furnishing. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The roof top restaurant served excellent Rajasthani and other cuisine along with folk music whilst the breakfast downstairs was good. All members of staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant - we will be back for sure.

The overall friendliness and help was of the staff was second to none. The room was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. The whole ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful; the menu was varied and the food was delicious. Would I recommend this … yes

There was nobody available at check-in. When I parked the car, I was asked that if I will be going out. Cockroach was seen on the table below the television. Staff was slow as snail and did not pay attention to the traveller.

Camera molto spaziosa e impeccabile. Personale sempre sorridente e disponibile. Noi abbiamo viaggiato con nostro figlio di 12 anni, abbiamo trascorso 4 notti nell’hotel e ci siamo trovati benissimo.

Breakfast was difficult here if you want to start early morning as there was no buffet due to not enough guests and restaurant doesn’t open till 7am. Very limited to no breakfast options before 8am in the area as well. Hotel only gives you 2 small bottles of water per day and you have to call each time you want filtered water to the room. Very little to no amenities for what hotel is charging. Room was clean and spacious but that was about it.

The hotel's ambiance stood out, the traditional haveli architecture was stunning. The staff at the front desk particularly Mohan were exceptional. The room was spacious, we had few minor issues with the storage locker and the bathroom soaps not being refilled. The food at the hotel's restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was a good mix of Rajasthani, south Indian and continental options

Beautiful hotel away from the center, so it is quieter - but also requires a tuk tuk to go everywhere. Beds are either super hard or soft, so be sure to request a room with your preference (I switched after the first night.) Staff were nice enough and became more friendly after a few days. WiFi in rooms was weak and sometimes I had to sit in the hallway. Overall, a decent room, in a beautiful property. You feel like you're in Jaipur, not some generic hotel anywhere in the world. Definitiely a memorable place to stay.

I loved my stay at Umaid Mahal! Would recommend it! Apart from the noise (coming from the property next door primarily dogs barking in the middle of the night), it was excellent. Staff was helpful and kept the place clean especially in areas of high traffic.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside with the room was that there was no window (technically there is a window but it's blocked by an outside wall, so there is no view to the outside).

Zimmer im 4. Stock waren sehr hellhörig und die Preise im Restaurant sind auch etwas zu hoch. Aber sonst ein recht schöner Aufenthalt.

Room decorations and photos were pleasing. The hotel seemed too small and congested. One room the shower wasn’t working. There was no toilet paper in one bathroom. Quality of service was uneven. Staff wasn’t always responsive.

I recently stayed at Umaid Mahal, a heritage-style hotel that beautifully captures the essence of historic Jaipur. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the hotel's charm and the adorable, heritage-inspired rooms that provided the authentic feel we were looking for. The staff at Umaid Mahal were incredibly friendly and attentive to our every need. They went above and beyond, from providing bottled water to helping us book cabs for our daily outings and airport transfers, and even assisting with our luggage. Their level of hospitality truly made us feel pampered. They upgraded our room to the larger more beautiful room. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of delicious food, ensuring we were well-fueled for our adventures each day. One of the highlights of our stay was the terrace dinner experience. The terrace is beautifully lit with lovely seating arrangements, creating a perfect ambiance. Alongside the delicious food, we enjoyed cultural dance and music performances, topped off with a charming puppet show. Do remember to tip the talented artists! Umaid Mahal is owned by the same people as Umaid Bhawan, which is the more sophisticated version of this hotel. Guests receive complimentary pickup and drop-off services to Umaid Bhawan. However, we did find the staff at Umaid Bhawan to be a bit snooty, and their terrace dining experience inferior. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Umaid Mahal for a delightful and authentic Jaipur experience.

Wonderful property and enjoyable stay

The atmosphere at the Umaid Mahal is really nice. The decor is appealing. It feels like you've stepped back in time. The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming. It is accessible to the prime tourist sites and markets via a quick taxi or tuk tuk ride. We really enjoyed the stay.

Hotel experience was good but one of the receptionist on the night shift was abit rude and felt like he didn’t want to be there but the day shift person was really nice and helpful we asked him to change our room and he took care of us.

This hotel is located in one of the best location in Jaipur. Had the perfect ambience which we expected. The experience was perfect except didn't get the room that was booked. We booked a room that had a sofa bed but the room given to us didn't have the sofa bed. The breakfast option is limited but food is good.

Comfortable, spacious rooms in a heritage property. Lovely staff and location. Restaurant on top has good food and views! Wifi and breakfast however are disappointing. Hardly any signal in the room and not much choice of food for breakfast. They should serve cutlery and tea on the table instead of asking guests to fetch it themselves.
