It is relatively shabby and battered. Still good price for excellent location. Linen was clean, AC works, there is hot water in the bathroom. Definitely no luxuries, but nobody expects it for such a price. Thanks to hotel.

overall was what i expected for the price. Nice surprise was a common kitchen. The Bad: no tv or room fridge as advertised. It is up to other guest to let new arrivals in so prepare to wait outside for someone who happens to be leaving or coming. Pointing this out to the staff was met with shrugs. They didnt care.

Centrally by Jaffa St Center City located just 10 minutes walk from the Old City of Jerusalem. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by stores and restaurants with a secured locked entry code at the front entrance. The room has its own bathroom shower, heater, A/C, fridge, TV and WiFI. Coffee, tea, water is served at the lobby. The Checkin was smooth and manager responds to calls / text immediately. The rest of the hotel staff are friendly and professional. For a longer stay in Jerusalem, Zion Hotel has a great value for your money that I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a great location and the price was good but the rooms were small and decor was dated. I’m also not sure how clean it was. . I was disappointed there was not any breakfast. The people were very friendly though.

This place had no hot water. Bathroom was smelly and moldy. We booked 2 nights and didn't even stay for the 1st night. It looked so rundown it was scary. Area where hotel is located is very good but the hotel was not. Lobby in the second floor, the hotel lobby made us wait 45 minutes, our room was not ready. SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS HOTEL!

For what it costs, I give it high marks. Don't expect alot, looks old, but it is clean and confortable for a nighys sleep. Not a place to stay if you expect to be spending significant time in the room.

Sad to say the the only reason I'd recommend this place is purely on location. This place could be a so much more. Dirty fridge that the seel had broken on. Dirty carpets. A balcony door that you couldn't open from the outside. Hot water only coming from the bathroom sink. Toilet seat needed replacing as well as drainage for the shower. Fire alarm went off early hours of this morning. No one seemed to have a clue on what they should be doing. Staff not trained in these scenarios. (Not their fault, it's a fault on management)

Já havia me hospedado lá anos atrás, e o que tem de bom: localização e preço! O quarto é pequeno, não tem cama de casal, é "cama de viúva", banheiro sequer tem box, é uma cortininha e voce tem que ir se banhando e secando o piso ao mesmo tempo, caso contrário a água invadirá o quarto. Mas é ruim? Não! Não se pode pagar menos de 100 dolares a diária e querer um hotel 5 estrelas. Quem reclama do hotel é que não entende a proposta. Boa localização a preço baixo. Quem quer conforto, paga mais caro e fica num hotel 5 estrelas.

The hotel is dated but I came to be informed that a new owner is in there and has many plans for bringing the property up to date. It’s a beautiful old building with charm so hearing this definitely makes the future much more bright for future guests. The staff was great but short of personnel due to the ongoing war. The price was definitely reflective of the amenities and age of the place. I look forward to seeing how they bring back the charm and making it into a really nice place.
